Khody and his team did a spectacular job replacing the hardwood flooring and tiling in my home. Khody was super helpful during the entire process of renovation from advising on different types of flooring, hardwood brands and difference of them, installation, the issues of subfloor and laying out the hardwood and tiles in the hallway. He completed the project on time even though I changed the starting day because of delay in other renovations in my place. I will definitely recommend Khody to all my friends and families.

Khody and his team repaired my basement laminate floor which had been damaged by a flood from the AC clogged drain. They were organized, worked quickly, finished the job on time, and above all with great care! The way they handled the job made the ordeal much less stressful! Thanks, Khody!

My basement floor was uneven and half of it had been pulled out because of a leak. It looked like a mess. I contacted many companies and most were too busy/uninterested to take on the job. Khody came quickly to give a quote and started shortly after. His team smoothed out the floor completely with concrete and the new vinyl flooring that he installed fits perfectly. Hit team was clean, professional, trustworthy and efficient. I was very pleased with the job. Thanks guys!

We knew we wanted to remove the floors in our new home and install something new but were lost on what to pick, how to go about doing it and what things to avoid. So shopping for quotes was a natural thing and getting recommendations from professionals. I did a great deal of research as well online on what to look for in a contractor as well as things to ask. We had probably over 8 contractors provide quotes, insights and details regarding flooring. Khody happened to be number 3 and there was an immediate difference. The first two contractors happened to only take quick measurements of rooms and told us they'd be back shortly with a quote online. Khody came after hours for us from a job site in the far west end (roughly an hour drive) to where we were. He then spent 40 minutes to walk us through detail what he would be doing and WHY he would be doing it. He also explained at length what we'd want to look for when searching for our floors. He was patient, straight forward and honest in assessment. Needless to say, we choose Khody after reviewing all the proposed quotes and moved forward with putting together a plan to schedule floor purchase and install. Khody arranged a deal price for our floors which was fantastic. There was a hiccup however on the supplier side but Khody stayed with us every step of the way and worked hard to get them on track. He updated us every step of the way and profusely apologized for the delay (which was not his fault). In terms of the installation and workmanship, Khody and his team did not rush through the job, they were professional and the quality of finish was amazing. He would ask at key points how we'd like certain finishes to look, provide his professional opinion but was ultimately unbiased and would do whatever we asked without problems. This is a really long review but I will sum it up as follows: TL;DR - HLE Flooring (Khody and team) are honest, straightforward and quality contractors. They get the job done, they'll take care of you from start to finish. They'll give you professional advice and not pressure you one way or the other. Stop reading reviews, you've found the team who will treat you fairly and respectfully and give you the floors you wished for. I've already recommended Khody to all my friends and family.

It was a pleasure working with Khody and his team. They delivered as promised - with excellent workmanship and strong dedication to the project. The hardwood floor in our house was replaced within budget and on time. Khody and Laszlo ran an extra mile to ensure our complete satisfaction even if that meant taking care of extra tasks, beyond our original agreement. We are also very pleased with Gus, a painter recommended by Khody. Great job Gus! We wholeheartedly recommend HLE Flooring and are looking forward to engaging both Khody's team and Gus again for our basement renovation.

Had a great experience with HLE from start to finish. Khody and his team were great to deal with. We were replacing flooring in the livingroom/diningroom and a hallway. We were also having one set of steps replaced and two others resurfaced. Khody was patient and took the time to explain what we needed to know. He was helpful in the process of us picking out the flooring we wanted to use, and always had time for our questions, with smart, easy to understand answers. You don't get the feeling he is trying to dazzle you with his knowledge, as some folks can do, but rather his goal was to make sure we understood everything we needed to. He was helpful in picking out some great vent covers as well. The team kept the project on time and on budget. We're very happy with all that HLE did, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or to use them again!

HLE came in and installed laminate floors, underpadding and baseboards. These guys did a great job.

Khody and his team are extremely professional and respectful. The flooring was done to our liking and within our budget even though we had selected a high grade wood. Since it was our first time getting reno work, khody was very patient in answering our questions and addressing our issues. We would highly recommend him and his team to anyone with a budget wanting a good professional look in the house.

We contracted HLE to install vinyl plank flooring in our approximately 400 sq ft basement last fall. I don't usually write reviews. Khody was a delight to work with , such a professional and the job was very well done. I would also add that his pricing was very competitive. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone we know.
