Found out I had vermiculite in my attic that had tested positive for asbestos. Called about 6 contractors for information and pricing. Gilbert from Greenstream came by our house and took the time to explain the regulations and the process. I was very impressed with their professionalism and transparance right from the beginning. I received proof of insurance and WSIB coverage prior to starting as well as they refused to do their own air testing as it was a conflict of interest. I found this very reassuring, as they are confident in their ability to deliver and have their work inspected and tested by an independednt firm. They were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. But they were one of the few who offered to provide me all the documentation and credentials, and most importantly had complete confidence in their ability to deliver and stand up to independent testing. A few of the other contractors backed out of the job when I asked them for documentation and mentioned the independent testinng. When I found out that I had asbestos-containing vermiculite in my attic, I thought I would never sell my house. Manny and his team were professional, courteous and did the job right for a fair price. We stayed in the house while the work was being done and we felt safe the whole time. The air test passed right away and we sold our house two weeks after the work was done. I would recommend them highly.

Mannie and the whole team at GreenStream were professional in every way. We needed the Full Monty Type III asbestos remediation in a 120 year old Victorian house. Their price was very competitive, they finished early, and seemed honest at every step of the way. They fully complied with government regulation and gave us 100% peace of mind that the house is safe and asbestos free. Once you find a company that really comes through, you know that you will never look elsewhere. Although we will likely never have a need for their services again due to the nature of the remediation, we will be quick to recommend them to family and friends.

During the inspection of a home we just purchased, we found mold in a few areas of the basement that were not addressed by the former owner. After reading many reviews and calling a few companies, we decided to go with GreenStream. From the quote to completion of the job, these guys were a class act - responsible and professional in every step of the way. GreenStream is not the cheapest company for mold removal but if you need it done right, then they're the people you need.

My wife and I purchased an older home in Mississauga with intentions of renovating. Since the house was built in the '50s we knew there was a good chance some of the materials inside would contain asbestos. Sure enough, after hiring a professional environmental company to test different samples of material (popcorn ceiling, plaster walls, attic insulation, air ducts), a positive result was found in the ceiling texture material & tape surrounding air ducts. Having previous experience working on renovations in our past homes that did not contain asbestos, I knew this would require specialized help to remove. Asbestos is not something an amateur can cleanup without putting himself & others health at serious risk. This is where Gilbert from GreenStream comes in. I contacted several companies who specialize in Asbestos removal; GreenStream left me with the best initial impression so I decided to hire them to remove the Asbestos containing material from our house. Gilbert and his team showed up on-time and completed the job with precision, leaving the property very clean. It was as though no one was ever in the home. Prior to re-entering the house an air quality test needs to be conducted in order to get a clearance letter allowing people back into the house. The air quality test done in our house passed with flying colours. We are now excited to move forward with our renovations in our Asbestos free home! Thanks GreenStream!

We had some asbestos that needed to be removed from our home and we had a competitor of theirs give us a quote. The competitiors price was higher and was not as thorough. Greenstream took the time to look at all of our ducts and discovered more asbestos issues that the competitor did not bother to check. They did the work and left everything clean. I feel assured that tey did a good job and was very happy with their service. I would not hesitate to recomend them.

I bought a condo unit and after commencing my renos discovered mold. I found it on the subfloor after removing the laminant pieces on the surface. I realized the extend of the damage after lifting the sub-floor. The problem originated on the balcony (common element) where water pooled after the rains over the years in the slumped corner of the balcony floor going in towards the unit. The condo corp would not touch it since they feel that I am responsible for the interior of my unit. Since the problem started on the outside, I will be taking them to court to recoup my expenses. In the mean time, I had my unit tested for mold and it came back positive. I then hired Manny from Greenstream to clean up the mold. Wow, talk about professionalism. Manny came to my home to inspect the damage, then explained to me in detail what the process would be, the amount of time taken, and the approximate cost that it would be. He would later send me a quotation via email and then we planned when they would come in to do the work. The crew came in and did their work thoroughly and impressively. It took a day and they were able to salvage most of the walls thus enabling me to keep my expenses down. Compliments to Manny and his group for the fine work that they carried out in my home. GreenStream Environmental did a great job for us. We found asbestos material when renovating our basement. After an inspection more asbestos was found in various parts of our house. We then contacted GreenStream and Gilbert came to the house and quoted for their work to remove the materials. The quote came in lower than we expected. The job was estimated to take three days but only took two and the workmen left our house in impeccable condition. You would not even know they had been there, apart from the obvious removal of the asbestos. We now feel safe in our home thanks to GreenStream. Aside from the good work done the workers even offered to feed our cat while we were away from the house. This was a nice gesture which made us feel more comfortable in entrusting our house to them. A week after the work was complete there was a leak in the main floor bathroom that was stripped as part of the job. We contacted Gilbert and he arranged for a plumber to come to the house to fix the problem at GreenStream's expense. We really appreciated his help with this. We would definitely recommend this company to other people. It was a pleasant experience and it restored our faith in hiring good contractors.

I work for a design & build contracting company and we've used GreenStream on several projects. It is not uncommon for us to find asbestos in the older homes we renovate, Manny is alway quick to accomodate us which helps to keep us on schedule. Their team is great to deal with and I always feel comfortable recommending them to our clients.

We were extremely pleased with the vermiculite abatement services provided by GreenStream. The time for completion of the project was shortened considerably by the prompt action of the Managing Director, Manny Oliveira, who was able to bring in and coordinate, on very short notice, the third party services that are critical in this type of work. The crew which worked in our home was diligent, hardworking, and respectful of our property.
