We are renovating our 1960's home, were doing some of the work ourselves including demolition but were worried that we may have asbestos in the drywall joint compound and textured ceilings in the living/dining room. We took some samples and sent them off to an environmental testing lab and sure enough, there it was. The worst and most dangerous was in the textured ceilings so we started on our search for a company to do the abatement. There are many companies out there that do "abatement" and after interviewing a few we felt most comfortable with Greenstream. We wanted a company that we felt would do the work correctly, legally, and handle the disposal of the asbestos the proper way. Their team of four showed up on day 1 and spent most of the day just setting up. We had to be out of town for the next 3 days but they kept us informed via email, arranged for a 3rd party inspection/certificate of air quality, and when we got home the work was done, the work area was spotless and the air quality passed with flying colours. We were very impressed and would highly recommend Greanstream to anyone looking for asbestos abatement. D & S in North York

Manny was very informative and helpful. Most impressive was how quick he was at arranging an appointment, sending an estimate,arranging the asbestos removal, and addressing any problems. The crew did a thorough job, and left the place in pristine condition. Not cheap, but this may be the norm for this kind of job. Certainly very well done.

We needed to have the old asbestos wrapping removed from our radiator pipes running from the basement, in preparation for a renovation involving updating our electrical wiring. I called a few places, received a very professional response from Manny at Greenstream, and decided to go with his price quotation as it was detailed and also reasonable compared with other quotes I'd had. The process went very smoothly and the 4-person crew worked hard to complete it in one day. They did a great job and now we can move forward with our reno. Many thanks to Manny for answering my many questions and making sure everything went as discussed, on time and on budget.

I wish Manny would do entire renovations. His company is the best operation I have ever witnessed in terms of quality, speed, cleanliness and professionalism. The job was far more challenging than anticipated (removal of asbestos laden parging on a rubble foundation). He came in on time, on budget and was very flexible in terms of starting time. We are extremely pleased with the job Greenstream Environmental provided us. It was difficult to choose an asbestos abatement company due to the lack of guidelines in the industry and advice available to the average consumer. We learnt many building materials prior to 1980 had the potential to contain asbestos and to get everything tested prior to renovating. Greensteam Environmental impressed us with their professional and highly detailed quote outlining the entire asbestos removal process, and the safety procedures in place for the workers and for the client. Greenstream Environmental provided all the necessary documentation such as general liability insurance, WSIB coverage as well as “dump tickets”. This proved the asbestos removed from our site was properly disposed in an authorized disposal site and not dumped somewhere. Third party testing showed negative results after a full Type 3 abatement, providing peace of mind; everything was taken care of. You may have seen their appearance on home renovation shows such as Income Property and Love It or List It for asbestos and mould removal. Knowing these TV shows had done “due diligence” in this company gave us confidence this was a reputable and reliable company. And, we were right. Anyone who requires asbestos removal should give Greenstream Environmental a call. They did a great job and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The Greenstream team was prompt, polite and professional. The job ended up being bigger than originally estimated, but Gilbert was very fair when increasing the cost. Even the other trades who came to my house thenext day were impressed with how thorough the clean-up was. A first class job. Thank you Gilbert and Manny.

I had asbestos removed from old water pipes, and some demo under negative air pressure. The people at GreenStream were easy to deal with, they answered questions, they were on time, and they were extremely thorough (very reassuring in that line of work). I would recommend them

Easily arranged a date that was good for us. Crew arrived as promised: friendly, thorough; did a great job with minimal disruption to us and left basement cleaner that when they arrived. Read about the danger of asbestos vinyl tiles, got very worried after just removing 800 sq.f of them. I contacted the company and Manny promptly addressed all my concerns. Very knowledgeable, professional, seems that this is the company to contact when you have a real problem, they won't overcharge you or create a "drama" to charge you more.
