Had renters move out of my condo. The walls, floor, and ceiling adjacent to the windows were water damaged and covered in mould. Thais was the project manager on this project for me and she was very easy to work with. She came, she saw, she gave me quote on the spot followed by a formal quote. They started within a week and finished just as fast. They ripped out all of my flooring, some drywall, and cleaned the areas around the windows. I asked for air testing since mould is tricky to deal with, when the results did not come in as good as expected, Thais told me exactly that and told me that the crew would go back and do some more work for us and retest. Great service, easy to work with, honest, and good workmanship.

From the collection of quotation, site inspection, scheduling and performing the work, this company has been very professional and explained what they will do before, during and after the work is done. Thais, the project manager came on time to inspect my attic and provided a comprehensive quotation. She is very accommodating and was able to schedule the work in such a small window. The couple who removed the molds in my attic were thorough. They perform the mold removal and redo the work on areas that were missed and thoroughly completed the job. I highly recommend Green Stream Environment, Inc to anyone who'd want to get rid of attic molds.

We discovered asbestos tiles underneath old carpet as we were preparing to renovate our upstairs. I gathered several quotes, and I chose Green Stream as my best choice in terms of competence and value. I am very happy with the asbestos removal, they took great care to complete the project very safely and they left things very clean after.

The team that came to do the asbestos removal throughout the main floor of my 1950s bungalow was efficient, professional and very accommodating. I was very impressed on how clean they were and the care they took throughout the process. Having to live in the basement and work from home throughout the removal they were accommodating and respectful of my needs as the homeowner. They followed proper removal procedures and all safety requirements. I hope you do not need to have asbestos removed, but if you do I highly recommend Green Stream Environmental Inc.

We used Green Stream Environmental to address chrysotile asbestos removal and mould remediation caused by water damage that originated in our upper floor bathroom. When we expressed concerns that our family was having health issues because of mould, Green Stream came right away to quote and were able to fit the job into their schedule on short notice. Everyone down from Manny and Gilbert has been fantastic. Jose and crew arrived on time and were respectful of our home. The preparation of the work site was neat and tidy and when they finished the job, everything was pristine and immaculate. Now we can breath easy, knowing that Green Stream didn't take shortcuts with our health. I can't say enough about this company. I would use them again if the opportunity comes up.

I feel like this is required so that it does not happen again. I hired this company based on good reviews. I had noted that prior to them coming in that I had cats in my home. Being considerate because it was almost winter, I allowed them to place the shower in my home rather than outside (which now I completely regret). They did not take the precaution to seal the entrance to the shower from inside my home. Upon my return, one of my cats was in the basement for I don't know how long breathing in asbestos. I had to duct tape the entrance myself to prevent my pet from going back into the basement. What makes the situation worse is that the work was not completed because they only chipped away the top layer. While I understand that they might have only thought that it was the top layer, its frustrating that they did not have the courtesy to chip to the concrete, just in case, given that I was paying them $3500 to remove all the asbestos. So I'm left in a frustrating situation due to these events. While I've given up on reaching out to asbestos companies because their unreliability, I just wanted to write this review to remind you to be more mindful of pets and ensure that entrances are sealed.

Needed a quick removal of asbestos from our attic prior to the sale of our home. I called several contractors, and I just liked Thais from Green Stream because of her quick responses and great communication. She always answered her phone and seemed well informed. All in all, it was a very easy transaction.

Highly recommend this company! Not only was the quote 30K lower for a larger scope, the scope increased but they kept the original quote, stayed on time, on budget, and left the site CLEAN!! Manny was a pleasure to deal with and I would be happy to speak to anyone who needs any further information.

A few weeks before my family was supposed to move into the cottage for the summer while we complete a significant house renovation, we found flooding had resulted in a very mouldy basement. Gilbert drove 2.5hrs to assess it, and the GreenStream crew completed the work in 5 days, precisely when they said they would, allowing my family to move up there on time so that our long-planned house renovation could start on time. Then in the first week of the house renovations, asbestos was found unexpectedly, and again Gilbert and the GreenStream team came to our aide. They rearranged their crews and worked extra hard (over the weekend!) to complete the remediation and minimize the impact to our renovation schedule. GreenStream have done an excellent job for us twice (both unplanned) within a short period of time. They were extremely competent at the remediation work and very professional to deal with. GreenStream came right on time, explained what they were going to do, built a nice enclosure to ensure quarantine the area, did not damage any walls or furniture bringing their equipment in, and removed the mold. They cleaned up their work area beautifully as well. Found out that this company does work for school boards in southwest Ontario which was a huge bonus for me - means you can trust their work, especially since they have been vetted by several school boards!
