    PVC Windows

    I have dealt with multiple window manufacturers over many years. I have been dealing with Westeck since June of 2009. In my opinion they are the best supplier that I have had the pleasure of working with. Product and options are vast, custom products are entertained and not dismissed as other suppliers have done to me in the past. Product quality is fantastic, and constantly improving. Then there is warranty, I have had almost no warranty required, but on the few occasions that I have, Westeck has come through quickly, with above and beyond service that allows me to represent them with pride to all of my customers.

    New French Style Home

    Windows were ok. But the service was horrible. We had bow windows made, the salesmen came multiple times in attempt to measure the opening but when delivery day came the windows did not fit. Felt pretty uncomfertable when they kept asking me to sign off on measurements that they measured, now I can see why with all the erorrs. Salesmen after looking at our drawings recomended us windows that ended up not fitting in the opening (bow windows), now that I need to ask for support they told me that they only distribute the windows and I need to find my framers that installed the windows to fix the problem. Got feedback from my envelope engineer, framers, architect, and they all felt the same way. In general, if you are building a simple home with simple characteristics, Westeck can probably provide satisfactory service, but if you are buliding a custom home with unique features, you might want to check out some of the competitors. Now I can see why you have holdbacks on most trades..unfortunately Westeck makes you pay full ammount prior to delivery, so if you end up with the wrong windows.... good luck to you!

    Windows and Exterior Doors

    I ordered windows and doors from Westeck Windows and the service I was given was excellent and the quality of the product is very high. I would not be afraid to give their name to someone else.

    Windows and Doors

    There are lots of good products out there in the world of renovations and home-building. By using Westeck, I have the confidence that our clients are getting an excellent product. But more important than that, I know that if I or my clients have any problem with a Westeck product, it will be solved with just one phone call. Westeck's commitment to outstanding service is real, not hot air and excuses. By using Westeck, you will suddenly find that you have highly-valued new member on your team. I don't know who is designing Westeck's corporate strategy, but as a buyer of your products it certainly feels as though your company goal is to be "Outstanding."

    Custom Painted vinyl Windows

    Ordered 56 custom colored, low E argon windows painted in custom color for new build. All pre-order measurements confirmed on site by sales staff. When units arrived, 16 windows were wrong size; (too small). Custom color was wrong on all windows. CEO Casey Kerkhoff looked after the problems personally, tracing the colour error to the paint supplier in Ontario. Casey sent a crew over to Victoria and brought all the removable parts and screens back to the Chilliwack shop and repainted them. Because the windows had been installed before the colour mismatch was identified, Casey sent a team over to spray the frames in situ with the correct colour. His representative, Andrew was very professional and accomodating to both myself and my builder. Overall, I am very pleased with the outcome. Casey and Westek did a very commendable job fixing a mistake caused by a third party supplier. Often, it isn't the controversy that is our downfall; it is how we react to it that we are judged. I will use Westek again in future builds.

    Vinyl Windows

    Our client bought a house full of Westeck windows last year for a customer of his, and a houseful for his own house this Spring, he came in recently and commented how happy he was with the quality, hardware, the looks and the function-ability of the windows. Very happy with the windows!

    Window Installation

    I have made numerous requests to get a quote and information about eco government grants, and I either get put on hold or promised to get a followup call, but to no avail. customer service needs improvement.

    Windows for full house renovation project, plus exterior doors

    They did not follow through on errors made. They promised one type of window and made an error for a key area of the house (the front). We offered to pay for more expensive replacement windows and to have them provide some discount for the incorrect windows and they did not go for this. They were to fix deficiencies in the windows and never came to do so. The CEO was rude and arrogant and provided very poor customer service, especially given the large dollar value of the service. The sales rep made errors and said he would deal with things but then never followed up or admitted the errors. We have to purchase new windows to replace again and to pay for repeat labour to install new windows again--about another 5K. They have given us nothing and not repaired or replaced the windows. We dealt with another window company before in Vancouver and they were great. We also just completed a major reno project and have not come across any company that had such poor customer relations and service as Westeck Windows.

We are sorry you are unhappy with the windows supplied to you as per your plan elevation drawings provided to us and the standard CSA-A 440 codes. Also the President of our company took this complaint sufficiently serious to travel to Victoria in August 2011 and inspect the site personally. Upon investigation Westeck replaced the glass in 2 bathroom windows even though it was supplied as ordered and also provided an additional window at no charge. All of this was completed in August 2011. Westeck has offered a sharply reduced price but could not give you new, upgraded front wood windows for free as requested. Although six months later, the reduced wood window pricing continues to be available, subject only to full payment with the order. Brenda, Westeck Windows & Doors Customer Satisfaction Department.

    Renovation Windows

    We started working with Westeck windows in 2011 and they are now our largest window supplier, and each of our customers have been thrilled with the product. We have never worked with a window company that approaches the level of customer service Westeck provides. Thanks Westeck for the great experience - we look forward to a great 2012!

    Vinyl windows and double inswing door.

    We replaced all the old aluminum windows and patio door with Westeck renovation style slider, casement and awning products. The sales staff was very helpful and knowledgable. The windows fit perfectly and with the double-glazed argon filled glass we can see outside again. It is also easy for the do-it-yourselfer to install the windows in the openings once the old glass is removed. The double door to the patio was solidly built and also easy to install. Westeck delivered the windows on time and ready to install.
