    Air Conditioning Repair

    My air conditioning stopped working on a hot and humid day and I called Aire Max. I called at 4pm, Max actually picked up the phone and was at my house that night at 7pm. He was friendly, professional and quickly realized what the issue was. He quickly replaced part, cleaned the whole unit and my AC was up and running in no time. I will certainly call him next time I need anything related to my furnace, AC or hot water tank.

    Problem fixed in no time!

    My furnace was making an abnormal sound. I called in the afternoon and he was at my home the same night at the time he indicated. He fixed the problem in no time. Very happy.

    A/C unit service call

    Max was very professional and reliable. I spoke to him early evening and he was available to meet me the next day which I was fine with because the hot spell had just passed. I met him at a time that was convenient for me and took care of my unit. I'll definitely will be calling Max back for any future issues I may have.

    A/C Repair

    Our AC is about 12 years old and it quit last night when it was 32C. We were worried we'd have to spend over $4000 on a replacement machine but Max came the following afternoon and fixed it in less than 30 minutes! He charged $90 + parts + HST = $240. He even taught us how to regularly maintain our unit so that it can hopefully give us another 10-15 years. We are incredibly thankful that he was available and fixed it so promptly for a reasonable fee.

    AC broke down

    Max was prompt. He showed up when he said he would. He also was honest. My issue went from being an issue with the amount of Puron to needing a new AC coil. That was a bit of a downer because it went from being a $280 job to a $960 job. That's about 1/3 the cost of a new AC. Essentially the coil was leaking and after some tinkering Max told me that it was probably my TX valve(what ever that this). He did this without actually looking at the valve. To me that was little surprising to me, but he was adamant that it was the valve. Anyways, he recommended that I get a new coil without this valve because that valve breaks down easily. The cost of replace the valve would be the same as replace the whole coil with out the valve. This would reduce the efficiency, but I was okay with that because the AC was already 10 years old. I figure for that price it would need to last me 3 years to be worth it. Luckily the warranty is 3 years. In the end I decided to go with his suggestion and get the new coil and the next day everything was fixed and I'm living in cool comfort. Hopefully I won't have to call him again!!

    New Furnance Installed

    Back in wintery March, our furnace broke down and we called Max along with other companies to resolve the problem fairly quickly. I found Max to be very professional in understanding the root cause and he provided few solutions. We ultimately hired him to replace our furnace and he delivered in a short time. He is very hardworking and I found his prices are fair compared to the market and for the amount of work required. I took some time to provide a review because I wanted to share that in the past 3 months we haven't had any issues with the furnace. Keep up the great work Max! I would definitely recommend.

    Ductless air con installation on third floor

    In April of this year, Max installed ductless air conditioning in two rooms on the third floor of our tall house. It was a tricky job and he took his time making sure it was properly and neatly done. Even so he did work as quickly as possible. His quote for equipment and labour came in lower than other companies and I really appreciated his willingness to install the way I felt would be most aesthetically pleasing. Because Max gives the quote and does the installation there is no discrepancy between what he says he can do and what is done. I also appreciated his patience in answering my many questions before and during installation. The equipment he suggested is working well. The rooms can be made more comfortable within minutes and both the indoor wall units and outdoor compressor are quiet. I can recommend Max without hesitation.

    Excellent from start to finish

    Max showed up the on time and was efficient with his analysis of our air con breakdown. He explained the problem, the various options to repair or replace and I felt no pressure in any direction. He outlined the benefits and pitfalls of all options and allowed me to make an informed choice. Max was dedicated to doing the job at the highest quality, at the price quoted and all costs were outlined ahead of time. I would certainly not hesitate to make Max my first and only call in the future.

    Ductless a/c cleaning

    We had another great visit the other day with Max. He was prompt, efficient, and clea we had another great visit the other day with Max. He was prompt, efficient, and courteous as always! Max also cleaned our neighbors ductless a/c as well, as a last minute request. Max is great. Reliable and good at what he does! Thanks Max for another year of great work.

    Called by mistake!

    True story, I had an in warranty issue with my Air Conditioning, and called Max by mistake! The year before I had called Mark (another company altogether), who installed a part, and the A/C was no longer working. Max wasn't responsible for the issue with my A/C as he never did any work on it, however showed up at my door in my error phone call (what a way to meet a person!). Even though I made the mistake and called Max instead of Mark (I called the wrong company), he thought I was one of his customers, showed up pesronally. When we found out it wasn't him, he still offered some warranty work. Well since my A/C is down now, I am going to personally call Max. I have learned from my process the man stands up to his word. I recommend Max to you as a person who keeps his word on work that he does. Even showed up and worked with me by mistake :) That's what you want in business. Someone who keeps his word. Max does that. I recommend him :)
