    boiler /thermostat repair

    Max is GREAT! I was desperate when I woke up to a freezing cold house and a non functioning boiler /thermostat. Called Max at 2 pm on a Saturday and he came out at 8PM that day to have a look. He determined it was our new nest causing the issue as the boiler was ok and got the heat working. The thermostat stopped working again and we had to have it re-wired and they blew a fuse in the boiler. When we called Max he came back put in a new fuse and didn't charge us because he wanted to make sure we were warm! He was fast! efficient and cared! Everyone in Toronto is having heating issues but he made sure to get to us as soon as possible. We are going to hire him to put in our new boiler as ours is OLD and am sure he will do a GREAT job. I highly recommend Max and Aire Max!

    Furnace Replacement

    We were very pleased with the work Max did for us. We needed some emergency repairs and a furnace replacement. He took care of these for us over an extremely cold weekend quickly and efficiently and actually did some extra's he didn't charge for.

    furnace

    I called Aire Max recently with an immediate problem that needed to be fixed with my furnace ( the blower was gone ) in sub zero weather conditions. Max came out to Mississauga within a couple of hours and confirmed the issue and replaced the blower immediately. Thanks Max, can't ask for better service than that. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

    furnace repair

    Found Aire Max to be very honest and reliable. Max responded promptly when our furnace broke down during one of the coldest days in February. Will definitely call him when it's time to replace our aging furnace.

    Furnace Repair

    We woke up on a Friday morning in late January with the thermostat at 15 and dropping and outside temperatures in the minus teens. We were obviously very worried that our furnace had finally packed it in on one of the coldest days of the month and were anticipating a very pricey repair. We called several companies but no one was able to come out that same day. I called Aire Max and was given a very reasonable quote plus he was able to come out within a couple of hours. The problem was identified and the repair was done very quickly (a replaced sensor) even though we have a very old furnace. Max also spent the time to give me some very useful information on replacing the furnace which we will be doing in the spring as advised. We would definitely consider using Aire Max for any future heating and cooling repairs and replacing our furnace and AC in the future because he does great work for a good price. Thanks again for helping us out with this speedy repair this winter!

    Furnace repair

    Used Aire Max on 2 properties Max was very quick to get to the job site (even on weekend after hours), affordable rate and resolved issue promptly. Would be using their services again in the future. Thank you.

    Furnace heat repair

    If you are looking for excellent quick service in a short time, call Max! After calling Max, he arrived within an hour, identified our heating problem immediately, and fixed it quickly. Friendly, nice, helpful and extremely knowledgable. Very satisfied

    Hot water heater diagnosis

    My three year old hot water heater stopped working on Feb 1 for no reason that would be obvious to me. I contacted Aire Max based on the ratings it had received on Homestars and the owner came within an hour. He unplugged it and plugged it in again and examined the heater. He asked me for a copy of the manual which does not inspire confidence. I gave it to him. About 15 minutes later he told me that the electronic panel on the hot water heater was not functioning and that it would cost $600 to replace it which does not seem worthwhile on a hot water that only cost me $1000. He told me he would be glad to sell me a new one and quoted on both tank and tankless replacement. He also commented on my furnace saying that it was a bad brand and that he could recommend a better one and could quote on that. I said that I would get back to him and did some research on the hot water heater models he proposed. Later the same day, I contacted Sears where I had bought the hot water heater and learned that parts for it would still be under warranty so I arranged for a service call. The next morning, I noticed that I had hot water. I kept the appointment with the Sears technician to get his opinion. He too asked for the manual and said that the electronic panel on the hot water heater was fine. He commented that sometimes hot water heaters with these electronic panels just need a reboot and that the act of unplugging it the day before would have done that. It is now three weeks later and it is still working as it should be. I am very glad to not have listened to the fellow from Aire Max. I would be out a minimum of $1500 if I had unnecessarily replaced a perfectly good hot water heater.

    Let me explain story from my side, you call me Sunday morning and around one hour after your call I was at your place.your water heater was not working, I restarted couple of times but it didn't come on. by the gas code even we are 100 percent sure about some thing and as a gas technician we have to take a look at manual to make sure every thing is fine. I recommended you if you want get rid of this problem it is better to have a better quality product which is yours is not a good one, next day before sears came, your water heater was on because of my reset, so after couple of call still you didn't pay my service call and I am also shocked why home stars established this review because I didn't get paid and no business happened, what kind of appreciation is this for work on Sunday!!!!!!

    Tankless Water Heater

    Max did a fantastic and efficient job removing 2 old water heaters, capping all the old piping and installing a new tankless water heater. Max was courteous and respectful of my family and house. Max clearly knew what was needed and everything went according to plan (and estimate). His helper wasn't as good but Max did most of the work. Control of water leaking from old tanks and cleanup could have been better.

    Furnace repair

    We have used Max on 3 occasions for troubling shooting problems. One of these was a shorted wire from the initial installation by the builder, which is difficult to find. He comes when he says he will be there.
