    Install bathroom GFI outlets

    I have used Ring Electric for several jobs at our older house. Our wiring is somewhat complicated and difficult after many years and many updates, and some electricians have had trouble working with it. Ring Electric has been able to diagnose and correct multiple problems and they have often given me quick no-cost solutions. They have fixed others' shoddy work and provided high-quality service on new projects as well. When some wiring got accidentally dislodged during their work, they came back quickly and repaired the mistake with no charge. Bryan (the owner) has always personally visited the site during work in progress. They aren't the cheapest, but I consider the cost to be a good investment in quality work.

    Electrical- new wiring for Dining Chandelier & Installation

    Leslie from Kaldesigns.net recommended Bryan at Ring Electric for new wiring & installing our gorgeous new dining room chandelier. Bryan came over for the consultation, presented us with the estimate & appointment. He also checked to ensure our panel was up to code in our home. Three very professional electricians (Marty, Don & Derrick) showed up exactly on time for the work. They were courteous, very conscientious of being neat in our home and finished the job within the time estimated. We were extremely impressed with their pleasant camaraderie, efficiency and cleanliness. We have other projects in our future renovations and will be definitely be calling Ring Electric for the rest of our work!! Great job team!! Thankyou!.

    Electrical Panel Upgrade

    We recently had Ring Electric in to upgrade our old electrical panel, install some new outlets and fix a few other issues. A crew of 3 guys showed up the day they said they would, at exactly the time they said they would. They were all extremely professional and got right to work. Due to a few unexpected issues the job was taking longer than previously expected, so Bryan sent over another crew that had finished early and was in the neighbourhood. In the end, we had 3 trucks, and 6 guys and they finished everything in 1 day (stayed until 6pm), just like they said, at the same price we'd been quoted. All the new outlets were installed with very few holes made, they cleaned up extensively, and always made sure to consult with me anytime there were questions to ensure I would be happy with the outcome. I can't stress enough how professional all the guys were. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

    Standby Generator

    We recently had a standby generator installed. From the moment Brian arrived on our property we knew he was our choice for a professional job. We required quality workmanship, experience and a person who would stand behind his company's installation offering us a worry free future of being only a phone call away should trouble arise. Brian and his crew were exceptional and of course the final electrical inspection passed with flying colours. We also purchased a maintenance plan that will ensure us peace of mind for many years to come. During the recent wind storm of November 24th our entire area lost hydro. Not us, thanks to Brian. We were the only bright spot for miles! It almost made us feel guilty to have the neighbours call to see why all our lights were on and not theirs. We cannot say enough to thank Brian and his crew for a superior installation. Bravo Ring Electric!

    Inside and outside lighting, surge protector and outside plug

    I had 2 persons from Ring Electric to work on my lighting inside and outside the house on 26 Nov 14. I could not of asked for better personnel to do the job. They were here on time, very professional, polite and meticulous in their work and picked up all the garbage. I was extremely satisfied with their work. Thank you very much.

    full house re-wire

    Bryan and crew did a full aluminum to copper re-wire in our 2 storey home. I was impressed with the team's professionalism from the outset, beginning with the walk-through (with Bryan) to determine the necessary work. This was a massive job (in my opinion), that lasted several weeks. There were a few hitches related to scheduling (I suspect the job was bigger than originally expected, and ran over into other booked jobs), but in the end all the work (and post-work service) was top notch. I would definitely use this company again.

    Rewiring

    We hired Ring Electric to rewire a older home that we recently purchased. Although the knob-tub wiring had already been replaced, the wiring in place was not up to code. James, Marty and their crew were great and we are very happy with the results. They also came back to fix a couple of minor problems with no hesitation. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone redoing wiring in an older home.

    Lighting Installation, etc.

    After reviewing postings on Ottawa Homes Stars and receiving phone estimates from a few of the top rated companies, my husband and I decided on Ring Electric based on price, reviews and their insistence on safety. Before acquiring our new-to-us home, we invited the owner of Ring Electric, Bryan, to come by to provide us with an estimate. In addition to style changes we wanted to make, Bryan was able to quickly pinpoint areas that needed to be enhanced in order to meet and, in some cases, exceed code. Over the course of 3 subsequent visits, Bryan's team of electricians efficiently completed the following work at our home: installation of 5 pot lights; addition of two dimmer switches; replacement of existing under cabinet lighting in kitchen with LED lights; furnishment of overhead lights in 3 rooms; installation of a surge protector for entire home; addition of a ground fault receptacle over a washer tub; set-up of two pendant light fixtures; supplied and installed two boxes and vanity lights for bathrooms; and replacement of ceiling fan. His staff was punctual (starting at 7:30am each time they visited), polite, and speedy. Bryan even had his electricians replace an outdoor plug - at no charge! - because he thought it would be safer. I didn't even know about it until the lead walked me through the work when it was finished. All of the work that Ring Electric carries out is ESA certified. If Bryan cannot be onsite, he has his staff take photos of their work so he can view it to ensure it meets his standards. The project came in on budget and whenever we needed to amend the estimate to add or remove items, Bryan and his administrative assistant, Beata, were entirely accommodating. We would not hesitate to recommend Ring Electric to our friends and family and look forward to working with them again this fall to carry out additional work at our home.

    Electrical service upgrade and pony panel in garage

    I am very happy with the entire job done from the quote to the conclusion of the work. There was one mix up with the scheduling of the second day of work but Bryan (owner) did everything he could to fix the problem and I was satisfied with how it was handled. The itemized quote that I was given was easy to understand and was provided during the visit for the quote. Bryan explained each item on the quote and suggested options during the quote process. James and Wade (the crew that the majority of the work) were on time both days and very professional. They worked fast and their work was neat and tidy. When they completed their work, James went through everything with me to ensure I was happy with the work.

    Miscelaneous Wiring

    This is the second time we've used Ring Electric and continue to be impressed by the professionalism of the whole team. They have helped us resolve numerous challenges in an older home, with a newer addition. We will continue to recommend Ring Electric.
