It was a pleasure working with John and his crew on this project. Right from the beginning he took control of what had to be done and we had great communication throghout the whole process. I would highly recommended J Construction for anyone looking to do any type of renovation large or small.

Project included new basement, new kitchen, new bathrooms, new floors, new walls, structural work, load bearing walls removed, electrical upgrades, new outdoor deck, add patio doors, and many other upgrades. We were extremely pleased with John and his skillful employees - they were polite, listened to our needs and adapted plans to suit, came in on budget and on time. John was a great, honest guy, easy to talk too and good to his word - we missed him when the job was done! We recommended him to our neighbour and she has now hired him as well. We interviewed 4 contractors and John was the most professional and knowledgeable. He ensured that we had a detailed list of exactly what we were paying for which put us at ease. John and his crew completed our entire basement. New open area , 3 piece bathroom , new furnace room, laundry and stairs. OMG you should see my kitchen!!! I wanted to update the look in my 15 year old home - tear down a wall, redo the kitchen, etc. John and his team were fantastic! I was worried as it was a supporting wall that was being removed. Attention to detail included ensuring the new construction matched the existing. The team covered all my existing areas, including putting up plastic walls to protect the other rooms. Team was on time, and even if the requirement for the day was small, they were there, to ensure the kitchen or the granite guys could stay on schedule too. Love love love love their work. The end result is so fantastic. Can't wait to hire JConstruction again - my bathroom needs a facelift too! Highly recommend JConstruction.

John and his team completed the renovation in our kitchen. We are very happy with the work he did. The renovation looks amazing and John kept us informed of the process step by step as they completed the job. I would certianly use J Construction again and will recommend them to friends and family.

We couldn't be more impressed and happy with the amazing job John and his crew did finishing our basement and bathroom. We received a few quotes from various contractors but took comfort in the knowledge and expertise John provided. John and his crew were very friendly, professional and conscientious while in our home, the worksite was left clean and tidy everyday. John was able to completely change the layout of our basement providing us with much more living space for our young children to play. John and his team designed and finished a substantial part of our basement. They did quality work, were reliable and the job was started and completed on time. John was on-site everyday to both supervise and participate himself. The work-site was cleaned at the each day. All members of the team were competent, personable and professional. We would highly recommend Jconstruction to others.

My husband and I purchased our dream home. We loved our home but wanted to make some changes (e.g., add a large window to the living room, add a bedroom and storage room in the basement as well as extend the master bedroom closet). We also wanted to make the detached garage something to brag about. Unfortunately, during the renovations we became aware of some serious problems on. I understood the problems to be serious although, I was comforted knowing that John and his team would fix that problems properly. I took comfort in knowing that they found it in time and that it would be done properly and not rushed. In a time that was extremely stressful for my husband and I John was able to comfort us with explanations of what needed to be done and I knew he would do it properly. As the problem was being fixed John called me into view the progress, I walked into the kitchen I pushed back the tears of relief. John and his skilled team were able to produce exactly what we asked for. They were able to make suggestions that added to the end product and fix serious problems that were found. I cannot express my gratitude in words. He has help make our home beautiful and more importantly safe for our family to enjoy.

Great company and team! They did a very good job of renovating and upgrading our basement after July 2013 flooding. They were very quick finishing work within timeline given - they left the worksite very clean everyday. Communication was great and you could reach John ant time you needed him during the day. The entire team did a great job and they even came back after furniture was delivered to attached our handrail for the stairs because we had very narrow staircase! Thanks so much we now have a basement we can enjoy and use for many years to come!!!
