After contacting another skylight company, I reached out to Andy. He came over at my earliest convenience and after a quick walk around the house understood the structure of the house. Unlike other contractors who were unsure about working with a structural engineer, Andy was more than happy to work with an engineers drawings and inspectors, often pointing out where existing issues were found in the house and remedying them. He took on a very challenging job and worked long days to ensure that the job was done on time and on budget. Having done renovations myself I was amazed at the quality and attention spent to every aspect of the renovation. His framing was perfectly square within a 60 year old house and his drywalling and mudding left us with a beautiful finish. He also went above code in terms of insulation and did a wonderful job with the shingling and flashing. He was courteous, attentive and patient at all times and not only kept his area clean everyday, he also did a fantastic job tarping the area to prevent dust spreading around the house. If you're in the process of looking for a contractor look no further! Andy is definitely the best contractor that I've ever had the pleasure of working with.

Our skylights were leaking and after reading HomeStars reviews we called one large skylight company and also Andy's company for a quote. The large company didn't respond until 3 days after my call and Andy responded within 30 min. He came over that morning and and provided us with his quote within a day. He came on time as scheduled and worked 9-10hr each day, cleaned up any mess, took pictures, and finished the project 1 day early. His work was thorough, the new skylights themselves were high quality, and he identified potential issues with the roof and leak areas that we would never have known. He addressed them without extra charge. He even finished the interior of the skylight with trim which the original builder did not do. We found Andy to be very skilled in his trade, passionate, and honest and am keeping his business card for referrals and any future projects.

Andy is our super hero. We did our research and knew that Fakro Skylights were exactly what we needed to give us the air circulation in our 2 rental units with vaulted ceilings, on the third floor. With cutaways he walked us through the construction of Fakro windows confirming all we had read about why they were superior to other skylights available for Canada's weather. We were lucky that a couple of his other clients were getting special orders so our windows were installed 2 weeks earlier than expected. He recommend ed and installed the perfect size..stayed to the time schedule..There were neighbours for 2 days watching him work on the other side of the street. Very impressive. We've been renovating 90 yr old home for 8 years..He's the BEST

After thorough research and several quotes, we hired Andy to replace the skylight in our kitchen. Andy gave us competitive quote (although not the lowest), promptly ordered the product and schedule installation, showed up when he said he would, did an excellent and job and then more. We are enjoying our new skylight, and we'll not hesitate to hire him again to replace few more next year.

Andy does it all from providing a quote to completing the work and wow does he do great work. I searched for someone to open the ceiling to expose a skylight that was installed last year as part of a new roof. Andys skylights was the only company to go into the attic to see what needed to be done before accepting the job!! The others did not. Look at pictures of his work. Price was excellent too. Read his website and meet the man. You will see he is a very trustworthy skilled person. Love the results and we were so comfortable with Andy, we gave him the door key to come and go as he pleased during the 5 day job.

Andy was AWESOME!!!! Good price and amazing work. I have never been more satisfied with a contractor! He also pointed out an electrical hazard in my attic and sealed my venting pipes while he was on the roof (just because...).

Andy was recommended to us by the manufacturer of skylights. We have NOT expected such a committed contractor. Always on time ,work done in a very professional and safe manner ( working on the steep roof ) , finished on time as promised, great performance! I would recommend Andy to anybody wishing to install a skylight worry free. Thank you Andy.

Thanks Andy for your great work and attention to detail. I had three companies come out to replace 5 skylights. Andy was the only one to do a detailed review of my flat roof. A second company did go up and review the skylights, but Andy was the only one who looked at the whole roof and pointed out various things. The third company didn't even go on the roof, but came with sales material. Andy provided a competitive quote, and started the job on the date he stated. As mentioned earlier, and by other reviewers, he is dedicated to his craft and ensures the job is completed properly. After dealing with other not so professional trades people, it was a pleasure to have someone who takes the time to ensure the job is done right. Thanks again Andy, and I will recommend you to anyone who needs new skylights.

Andy is fantastic, not only he knows his trade but takes time to explain what the job entails and give suggestions and get it done! He did a fantastic job replacing a very old acrylic skilight and repairing the damage that was there causing leaks and other things. I trully recommend his services.
