Major kitchen renovation
In 2008, we decided to have our kitchen completely redone: new plumbing, wiring, floor, ceiling, cabinets, appliances -- everything. And we needed a guaranteed completion date because we were hosting a major even on an unchangeable day. The entire crew did fantastic work, often going well beyond what we expected to make sure that things were all working smoothly and looking great. When it was all finished ahead of schedule, Dave inspected the new kitchen -- and found a couple of problems we hadn't noticed. He fixed them quickly. We were given a 10-year warranty on all work and materials. Sure enough, when we had a recent mishap with a drawer -- totally our own doing -- he refused to accept payment for replacing it. Eight years after it was completed, the kitchen Dave designed and built for us still looks great and works perfectly. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

Major Condo Reno
We used Wolstencroft Kitchens and the related home renovation company to renovate our 1,500 sq ft Mid-Town condo over a three month period during 2014/15. It was a very successful project from start to finish. It was a pleasure working with Dave W. and his staff: they were highly professional and delivered what they promised. Dave's design ideas were extraordinarily effective and the build quality was top-notch. We would strongly recommend this firm.

Kitchen renovation
Dave was referred to us by our designers. Our project was not big but it was complicated. We needed to retrofit a new drawer and enclosure that matched our existing framed cabinets and build a new one. The results were amazing. Being able to perfectly match something that this already there requires real talent. We were also very impressed by the entire installation team. Very professional and courteous. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Complete Kitchen Renovation
March 2014. Our kitchen renovation project was a total re-do. We are very happy that we found David Wolstencroft of Wolstencroft Kitchens Ltd. Wolstencroft Kitchens is a “one stop” kitchen renovation company. (They also do fine cabinetry.) From the excellent design, to scheduling general contractors, the electrician, masonry, cabinet installation, countertop installation, flooring, Wolstencroft Kitchens handled everything. All the workers who were involved in the renovation were skilled and very personable. The kitchen is beautiful, and as important, the kitchen functionality exceeded our expectations. Even though the footprint of the kitchen is not much bigger, the kitchen seems so much bigger because of the design. Dave Wolstencroft was with us all the way, from design to completion, impressing us with his knowledge and design experience. Dave has made connections with all aspects of a kitchen renovation, so he could recommend appliance stores, tile stores, lighting stores, flooring stores as well as co-ordinating all aspects of the renovation. This was extremely helpful. The cabinets are really beautiful, very functional and made in Canada. Everything went according to schedule, the renovation was as stress free as possible and we now have a fantastic kitchen. It is really great knowing that there are renovation companies that deliver a great product with skill, integrity, and on time and within budget.

Cabinets, Trim, Doors and Project Management
The firm has a great sales approach with desire to serve but had some minor difficulty following through with warranty issues - which eventually were worked out. After a year of living in the home minor flaws emerged in workmanship such as cracks on seams/edges, wood that shrank and expanded too much. The firm diligently repaired all issues to customer satisfaction.

Kitchen Reno
We completed our Kitchen Reno this June 2013. Dave and his team ( Ray and Steve) were just great and open to all our suggestions and helping us with decisions along the way. Of most importance they were very patient with waiting on our decisions around colours and back splash tiles etc which we took a lot of time over. The teams were efficient, on time and very professional in all their work. We highly recommend this company . Diren and Sonya from Whitby

Kitchen/home renovation
One year ago my wife and I took possession of our new home. We moved from a large house in Hoggs Hollow, downsizing to a retirement community just outside the city. The new house had a large but modest kitchen that was part of a great room, dining and living areas, with large hallways as part of an open plan upper level. A kitchen renovation was in order. Finding Wolstencroft Kitchens was pure serendipity. From our first meeting with Dave Wolstencroft we both felt that we had met someone who listened to our needs. It was clear that the project was more than just a kitchen but would involve the whole house. We are rather particular/demanding about how things should be. In bringing a complex job to completion I was amazed at how much went into design, selection of materials, and overall attention to seemingly minor details that one year later seemed obvious but are essential to the overall elegance that this project created. Everyone that Dave brought in to work on this renovation was top notch and contributed to the finished product not only with their individual skills but with their suggestions too. Why have we waited one year to write this? When we moved in we were overcome with the beauty, grace and functionality of everything, a little overwhelmed. One year later, we feel the same only more so. We know that this is a truly great place to live. We would like to thank Dave Woolstencroft who through his expertise and love, to turn this house into a very beautiful home “A house is made of bricks and stone, A home is made of love alone.” David and B.J. Kitchen and Laundry Room Renovation
We used Wolstencroft Kitchens in the fall of 2011 to renovate our kitchen and laundry room. We were specifically looking for someone that would manage the entire project and coordinate the various trades in a timely manner so that we would not be without a kitchen for longer than necessary. We were extremely happy with the final result and Dave and his team (Jen, Don, Ray and Steve) were professional, courteous and helpful throughout the project. Everything from the tile work (Mike) to the cabinetry (Ray) was beautifully done. After living with the work for close to 17 months now, I am happy to say that everything has held up very well and any minor tweeks that have been required were promptly dealt with. The project was completed in a timely fashion within the budget which had been outlined at the start of the project.

Kitchen Reno
We initially embarked on a kitchen reno not sure what to expect. Dave made the entire process from design to completion a real joy. Dave was central to all phases of the reno, he suggested a contractor - Lowell Binstock who was also an invaluable part of the reno. The two worked very well together, making all parts of the reno stress free. Dave tried hard to work within the budget and we appreciated this. Dave made great suggestions throughout the process on all aspects of the design. The quality of the cabinetry is exceptional and the ultimate outcome has been more than we had expected. We have also appreciated his follow-up on outstanding issues and know that he will always be available for questions or issues that may arise. We have completed a number of renos in our home and we have really appreciated the importance of good communication , professionalism and flexibility , all that Wolstencroft offered!!! Thanks to Dave and his team!

Complete kitchen renovation
The price that I have given for the reno includes the fees of the contractor and of a designer, as well as Wolstencroft Kitchens. Dave Wolstencroft was central to all phases of the project: the four of us hammered out the design together and he was on site day after day while the work went on. Several things impressed me about the way he worked with the others and with me: (a) he listened, and would later make suggestions based on the ideas that he had picked up from us (not on his own preferences); (b) his attention to detail was awe-inspiring; and (c) if he has a temper, I never saw it--he seemed always easy-going and accommodating. The final result was beautiful and on budget, so I am am very contented customer.
