On Nov.27, 2010 we had Ecologic Insulation add over a foot of cellulose insulation to the existing, rather thin layer of pink insulation in the attic of our 1950s bungalow near the Scarborough Bluffs. Alfredo Lopez, owner and operator, who had given us a competitive bid, did the job quickly and efficiently with one assistant. They prepped by covering our bedroom floors and furniture with plastic sheets, then climbed through the closet up into the attic carrying a flexible plastic hose through which particles of cellulose were blown throughout the attic from their truck parked on the street outside our house. This part took just over an hour and was done with virtually no disruption to our living quarters and no mess. Alfredo then invited me to climb up his ladder in our bedroom closet to take a look at the finished job. I was impressed to see a thick, even layer of greyish cellulose forming an also blanket across the whole of our attic floor. Alfredo had even improved the configuration of the metal hose leading from our bathroom exhaust fan to a ventilation cap in our roof. Similarly, he'd blown extra insulation around the two skylight wells to provide better heat retention. I was very satisfied with the job done by Ecologic Insulation and would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs attic insulation done.
