I don't usually post reviews, but I was very impressed with the service we received. Rafi went above and beyond the call of duty, driving from Pickering to downtown Toronto late in the evening to fix our furnace. Thank you for keeping our family warm!

Hassan came to do the regular maintenance on my furnace and air conditioner. I was very pleased with the service. He was very thorough in cleaning and inspecting both appliances, and explained everything that he was doing.

We thought they were fantastic. We'd moved into our home and the air conditioning wasn't working. Came across Cosmopolitan and contacted them based on the reviews. Rafi fixed it and took a lot of time to explain different things about the outside unit as well as things in our furnace room. We'll be booking Rafi again to service our furnace.

I would highly recommend Cosmopolitan for anyone looking to do their heating or AC maintenance. Hasan A was our technician, and he was punctual, friendly and efficient. He took great pleasure in explaining everything he was doing. Also, we found the price reasonable for the service provided.

Hasan was on time, courteous, and friendly. He was meticulous when cleaning the A/C unit and helped replace a very old humidifier filter. Overall, excellent service for a fair price.

I had been with a competing company for many years and was nervous about switching. However, I couldn't be happier with Cosmpolitan's service. From the salesman, Shan, to the installers, Kyle and Todd, to the guy who fixed the hot water heater (sorry, I can't remember his name). Everyone was very professional, clean, friendly, very knowledgeable and at an affordable price. I couldn't be happier. THANK YOU!

Cosmopolitan replaced a circuit board. First they charged $129 to give a quotation. Then they charged $275 for the already used part, available on the internet for under $100, and charged $198 for labor, which took literally under 10 minutes. No arguing with this company, because they take your credit card imprint in advance. Outrageous, but the furnace works. However, they left a gap between furnace and ductwork of 1 inch all around so the hot air was just blowing into the furnace room. They took photos and said they had to make some ductwork. They never returned, never called back, never returned our calls. I filled the gap myself with furnace duct tape. I can't understand how a company with the slightest pride in their work or the slightest notion of customer service could leave a job like this. This part of Cosmopolitan's service was terrible. Apparently their approach is to grab your money and run. I chose this company because of positive online reviews, but warn anyone else against make the same mistake.

Every aspect of Cosmopolitan's service was excellent! Our old air conditioner expired just as we were heading into some very hot days last summer. The firm that had been maintaining it (who'd installed it for the previous owners of our house) quoted a fortune to replace it. At first we were dismayed and thought we'd need to suffer all summer. Then we found Cosmopolitan on Homestars. They came and quoted the next day and had such great prices that we were able to afford an energy efficient model - complete with rebate. They also actively looked at ways they could minimize the costs and disruptions of the new installation, which I really appreciated. They were quite busy so we originally scheduled installation for a week after order, but they called us just a day later to let us know that they'd had a cancellation and could come earlier. Another wonderful surprise, and so thoughtful as it was a very hot weekend! All the Cosmopolitan staff have been courteous, punctual and really downright lovely. The air conditioner is working brilliantly and I look forward to working with Cosmopolitan again. I'd strongly recommend them to anyone.

Wonderful job performed by Cosmopolitan Heating and Duct Cleaning in affordable prices. Everything was good from my call till services. Duct cleaner was friendly and answered to all my questions.

I chose Cosmopolitan due to the great reviews they had on this site. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience which I had to comment on. The Good: - responded to my email within 24h - tech (Rafi) appeared to know furnaces well (.. but see below) The Bad: - individual who booked the appt (Kevin) wasn't clear - didn't inform I would have to book a separate appt for diagnosis and maintenance - didn't inform I would have to pay $129 to have my furnace diagnosed and a separate $129 to have maintenance - technician was supposed to arrive between 11-1, called at 12:45 to say he was running late; finally showed up at 2:45 - tech was unprofessional (took personal calls, swore) - tech was in a bad mood and spoke in a condescending manner The Ugly: - tech took 5 minutes to figure out my thermostat wasn't working (furnace was fine) - then tech refused to do maintenance as he didn't have time (even though that's what I booked the appt for!) - I had bought a new thermostat already and he said he could put it in for an additional another $99/hour. I said no thanks! Summary: - I came close to telling the tech to leave my home without payment because he really didn't do anything, showed up late and didn't even provide the maintenance I requested. Maybe I had a bad Tech but when I called Kevin back to raise my concerns, he never even bothered to call back. Guess I'm the only one on this site but I was not happy with my experience and wouldn't recommend this company (and I still need general maintenace for my furnace!).
