We purchased a brand new Lennox XC-14 and are very happy with it. It is a very solid machine and is very quiet. It is a rather large unit though, so make sure you have room for it.<br><br> As for the overall process with Cosmopolitan, it was less than pleasant.<br><br> The sales person, Paul, was nice but a little pushy when done with his pitch. I have every right to shop around and hate when sales people try to push you to sign. Not the end of the world, but give the customer some breathing room.<br><br> The unit was to be installed on the side of the house next to our living room. As we spend most of our time there, I specifically asked Paul if we would hear the vibration if the unit were mounted to the foundation. I was assured that we would not... turns out that we do hear it. Putting the unit on the ground was not an option due to ground movement in our new sub division.<br><br> The installation process felt really rushed. As soon as they were done, they just wanted to get out of the house as quickly as possible. What they passed off as an explanation of the system was a joke, I had to pull information out of them. On top of that, the installer could barely speak English and I could not understand most of what he said. In the end, I had to give up.<br><br> The installation of the AC coil introduced a rather loud high pitched whistle that drove us mad. I have to give the service manager Kevin points for trying to deal with the situation but in end, the blame was placed on our builder and the technician really didn't seem to care much. I spent quite a bit of time researching this issue and I had to mention the various solutions to him while he was at our home. It was like pulling teeth with him, every response was "that's normal" or "I don't know". If I had not mentioned the things I did, he wouldn't have tried anything.

Thumbs up! Fully satisfied with Cosmopolitan Mechanical Services workmanship. They are average priced,however, I feel these guys deserve it! Installers took extreme care about my other appliances and my carpet. They have professional attitude!! Strongly recommended!!!

Their service was appallingly bad. They broke a tube because of rough handling and they were unable to get a replacement part. The tech said the previous two cleanings had been done improperly. They never were able to fix the part they broke and they just refused to help us - extremely rude and dismissive service manager. We ended up going to another company altogether. All of this took place in the week before Christmas and in extreme cold.

We have received an excellent service from cosmopolitan Duct cleaning. We were experiencing lot of dust in our house. Our furnace filter was also getting dirty more often. Our neighbour is HVAC technician he looked at our furnace and ducts and told us that we need to clean our ducts. We called the company and they sent duct cleaner Cleave to clean the ducts. We found Cleave an excellent duct cleaner. After the cleaning our house is less dusty. We would definitely call them agin for duct cleaning. We believe they are professional.

Last night was the second time the technician was two hours late and it was the 2nd time i had to cancel my evening plans because of them. I was a reapeat customer, have given them over 1000 dollars worth of business over the past few months. The appointment was for between 4-6, i even called that day to confirm the time. 6 o'clock arrived with no word from them. i called and they told me he will be by at 7:30. once he arrived he kept saying how he wanted to reschedule the appointment even though it was very important to me to have it connected that night. I tried to get a discount on the service (which i found rather expensive) due to the fact that they wasted my whole evening, they would do nothing for for me. i will not be using them again, I do not recommend them to others. There are so many better companies out there that respect their clients. Cosmo definetly does not. Steven Flaming

We contacted Cosmopolitan Heating and Duct Cleaning on a Thursday to get a quote. They had someone here first thing Saturday morning to check out the project and had a great team here first thing Monday morning to do the job. They took about 2 hours and were absolutely excellent. They clearly explained what they were going to do, kept the work area very tidy and didn't have any surprise charges at the end. I would recommend them highly to anyone!

Our heating guy told us about cosmopolitan duct cleaning. We called the company for the service . There cleaner came on the given time. They kept our house cleaned and did a fantastic job. We would definitly recommend this company to all the peopole needing duct cleaning.

Recently we changed our oil furnace to gas high efficiency furnace. While changing the furnace we discovered our ducts are dirty. We called cosmopolitan duct cleaning to do to cleaning. Cleaner Cleave came to our house and did a quite good job. We will recommend cleave for a good duct cleaning

Our house had a lot of dust problem. Friend of ours told us to get our duct cleaned. We Searched around and found cosmopolitan Duct cleaning. We called them, they gave us the quote over the phone. Next week duct cleaner Cleave came and cleaned our ducts. Surly he did a clean job. I will call him again next year for duct cleaning again.

We called cosmopolitan to service our furnace and clean our ducts. Crew from cosmopolitan was on time, provided professional service and finished on time. We would recommend this company to others.
