My husband and I decided to list our home for sale and wanted a quick update on our kitchen. We arranged for a new counter top and then started the hunt for someone to paint our cabinets. I stumbled across Kitchen Makeovers and after a few emails Tanya came over to give us an estimate. The price was good, and even more importantly Tanya was able to squeeze us into her all ready busy schedule so we would not have to delay listing our house. The work was done on time, and I really mean on time! None of the usual "we will be there around 2" and then they show up at 7. The work is perfect, the paint looks and feels wonderful. I started out thinking that I could paint my kitchen cabinets as part of our kitchen renovation, after I started I soon realized that I could not complete a quality job. We hired Kitchen Makeovers after a friend recommended them and checking out their website, that was the smartest move we made. We are extremely pleased with the end result, Kitchen Makeovers completed the work quickly and delivered a very professional and quality product. I looked for a company to paint my cabinets in my kitchen and I had many quotes. I was looking for a shellac finish, not just paint, otherwise it would look like I did it myself! I wanted as close to a factory finish as I could get without replacing my whole kitchen! Tanya's Home Makeovers came in about the middle on pricing but I was impressed with Tanya! She always called back when I tried to get a hold of her and she came exactly according to schedule on the day she said she would at the time she said she would. Everything went smoothly and according to plan. Her staff were great and friendly too! The kitchen turned out beautifully and we added the bathroom and laundry rooms at the last minute and she gave me great price to do them too! After it was all done I had just a couple tiny issues I wanted cleaned up and she promptly took care of my concerns! The whole experience was great and my Kitchen looks amazing! We were so happy with Tanya! She came into our home to de-orange our oak kitchen cabinets, railing and fireplace mantel and it now looks like a brand new home! She also painted the majority of the house and her and Tianna are superb painters. She accommodated every request of ours and succeeded in minimizing the disruption. She left the house neat and tidy everyday and her finished cleanup was immaculate - even cleaned the bathroom counters and floors! I highly recommend Tanya for any kind of painting and kitchen makeover! Tanya and Tianna loved our dog Bailee which made life easier during the reno!

Our kitchen cabinets were in terrible shape. After 22 years of heavy use, they were tired and distressed. Given that they were solid wood, it seemed a shame to toss them out and spend 40 K for new cabinets that wouldn't be the same quality. We used Tanya Bilmer and her team. They were amazing and our kitchen looks better than it did when we originally installed the cabinets. The color is remarkable, and her work was impeccable. She arrived exactly on time, finished the work in less time than we thought ( 5 days), cleaned the areas and left everything exactly as she said it would be. She is wonderful to work with and she is extremely professional and trustworthy. It is so rare to see a woman in the trades and if she is the example, then men should get out of the business. She really pulls out all stops to get the work done perfectly and she is painfully honest. If she tells you something can be done- believe her. And if she says it is not possible, then take her at her word, too. I should add- our dogs loved her. They seem to be very good judges of character of trades persons. Save yourself the hassle and expense of buying new kitchen cabinets. If you own expensive cabinets and you like the layout of your kitchen, then use Tanya. We love the work she did.

We are very impressed with the job Tanya and her crew did in renovating our kitchen. She took our 20 plus year old kitchen and modernized it in the space of a week taking every effort to protect our family and belongings from the inevitable fumes and dust that come with such a project. The end result was nothing short of amazing and we would have absolutely no problem in recommending Tanya and her services to anyone else looking for an alternative renovation solution to a complete tear out and replacement.

Tanya came in, gave great advice for doing a kitchen reno (plus a few things more) without having to overspend, especially since we'll be selling in about 4 years. We wanted something we could enjoy now, but still be a selling feature a few years down the road. We actually ended up paying less than the first quote since we decided to go further than just the kitchen redo and create a bit of "pop" in the entrance and family room as well. She was a stickler for making sure the spraying was contained to where it should be and spent almost as much time (if not more) taping and papering for a super neat job. We knew ahead of time exactly what was going to be done and when, so we could be prepared for the obvious changes we would have to make to our daily living rituals. Tanya made it as painless as possible.

Tanya painted our kitchen and bathroom cabinets just recently. She arrived exactly when scheduled to and completed the job on time. Tanya and her team were friendly, efficient and extremely tidy. Tanya came back after the other trades people were finished their work and touched up areas that were scratched.
