    Helpful plumber

    Had a water leak in the line to the toilet. The plumber was able to come right away and took care of the problem. He then toured the house to check the rest of the fixtures. He cleaned up after himself. Very happy with his service.

    Drainage issue

    Kevin was very friendly and knew exactly what to do and fixed problem with no none sense

    Service was good

    Service good, over priced, fast response. They died my problem. Would rate it very good if price wasn't over priced.

    Bathtub drain

    The plumber could not remove the drain in the tub using a easy Out. Full price was charged for the job but nothing was repaired

    Main park water supply lines and sewer work

    very prompt in keeping appointment and they listen to us on how we what the job done and they do the work in a timely matter

    Bathroom

    Came 2 times, problem did not get fixed properly. Charged $400. Called to come back again and they wanted to charge another $200. Each time they were there for only 15 min.

    Hi there Marie, our system does show that the problem was solved for about a month until we needed to return. Mr Swirl cannot provide a warranty for the drainage after such an extent of time as we do not know what content is being put down the drain and if there is a further problem with in the line. We are happy to help and offered a discount for the other work.

    Bathrooms renovation

    Replace all copper plumbing with flexible pipes then completely renovate two existing bathrooms. The work is still in progress and going according to schedule.

    Shower Valve Leak

    Thank you Mr. Swirl for attending to my plumbing needs. I was very nervous that the leak from the top floor shower through to the main floor bathroom vent in the half bathroom was an emergency disaster waiting to happen. I have never had to call a plumber after office hours and didn't know what to expect. Would the plumber call me back? I explained to the dispatcher that I wasn't sure if it was an emergency that needed an immediate visit by the plumber. I requested that the plumber call me so he can assess if it was an emergency that needed to be handled immediately or can wait until the next business day. Within minutes, I got a call from the plumber and was reassured that it was not an immediate emergency as the leak stopped once the shower had ended. A visit was scheduled for the next day and sure enough Ken the Plumber arrived as promised. He was very kind, professional, thorough in his work, detailed and explained everything so that I could understand all the technical stuff. A potential diagnosis was made but, he needed to return another day to confirm the diagnosis and at the same time do the repairs since he had to buy the correct plumbing equipment to proceed with the repairs. I felt very confident with Ken as he seemed to be a very competent plumber with a lot of experience. He even went through some other plumbing questions I had around the house and answered all my questions! I look forward to having Ken come back to complete the plumbing work.

    Backing up toilet

    I would love to give a better review because our technician Kevin was great, very professional and friendly; explained everything he was doing. However, there were 3 negatives that really changed my opinion. First was that I called Mr Swirl in the evening in a panic as my plumbing where my toilet was was backing up all over the place (no toilet, just out of the blue starts barfing our sewage). The owner assured me a technician would be out first thing in the morning, that his guy started at 8a. Well 8am came and went, then 9a so at 9:30a when I called to see what was going on, they hadn’t even scheduled us in! Then, when the technician finally did come (about 3:45!p), he gave us a quote on what he was going to do and how much it will cost, explaining he would give us a slight discount as our toilet was removed and we had already cleaned up everything. As he was typing this into his work iPad, his boss (the owner) called to say he needed to charge us more! Very unprofessional!!! Their 3rd strike for me was when we didn’t receive an invoice for the work that was done and the $728.49 that we paid, until 5 days later when I had to call them again to find out where our invoice was. Overall, it was very disappointing experience.

We will be further reviewing our protocols and procedures with our late night calls, as technicians are to pass along the matter to the office in the morning so our Dispatcher may call the customer and schedule it in, in accordance to the pre-scheduled jobs. Our office has gone paperless for invoices and can take up to 2 days to process and send. Unfortunately, by the time the work was completed on the Friday the office was closed for the long weekend. Due to the long weekend this caused the delay of the invoice being sent over promptly.     Dishwasher inspection + water pipe inspection.

    Mr. Swirl has great customer service. I was looking for a plumber and luckily, they had a technician available that day for a regular appointment. The girl gave me a call and a text message to let me know my technician was coming at a given time. The technician, Ken gave me a very honest answer about plumbing and a recommendation with my dishwasher. He even educated me with safety and the reasoning behind it. While he was there, he checked all the fixtures and the pipes in my unit. I received my diagnostic report in less than 24 hours. Overall, I was very happy with the service provided and I would support local companies anytime because you cannot compare the great customer service from big companies.
