    Kitchen

We have been moved into our kitchen for almost a month now, and I wanted you to know how happy we are with the design and the quality. In spite of the many hurdles and misgivings experienced along the way, we are glad that we trusted you and your experience. The layout of the kitchen is allowing for each of us to work without getting in each other's way. I celebrated my birthday with friends and family last weekend and so enjoyed being able to communicate with people in the living room! Others could help me in the kitchen and the socializing could continue! It was wonderful! So...thank you, very much. We love the end result, and will enjoy it for many years to come. If we have the opportunity to recommend your company, we will do so. Take care. Karen

    Kitchen Renovation

I thought that I posted a review of this company some time ago, but I see that it did not get posted. We had our kitchen completely renovated by Monarch Kitchen and Bath and were extremely satisfied with the customer service and the fanstic ideas and work that was done to make our kitchen the best part of our home! The people at Monarch came up with some unique and functional designs for our new kitchen. In addition they helped us select the best materials and colour combinations that really made our kitchen beautiful. Monarch also had an amazing team that worked with them - everything from cabinetry to fixtures. We were very satisfied. The most exceptional part of this group was the general contractor, Scott Ballantyne who did much of the work in our kitchen such as taking down a wall and building support beams. Scott and his group did amazing work and were a pleasure to deal with at every turn. The thing that I think sets Monarch a part of other companies is that when we did have concerns (and there always will be concerns with any reno job), the owner dealt with us directly and made our issues a top priority. Monarch prides itself of its reputation and is willing to go that extra mile to make sure its customers are not only satisfied but are thrilled with the work that is done.

Kitchen renovation in a 2 bedroom condo

I approached Monarch Kitchens about renovating my old condo kitchen. Everyone was warm and welcoming and spent the time to work with my vision in order to put together a modern, functional and practical design that met all my needs. My designer Jim Nicholas, worked with me offering good, solid, practical ideas and suggestions on colour, positioning and appliannces. Once the plan was in place, Monarch sent me a timetable by E-mail and they stuck to it. Before the project started I needed drywall and electrical work and the contractor that Monarch provided was top notch. This gentlemen also installed the appliances and hooked up the sink. The Monarch technician who actually installed the cabinets was clearly a top professional. All the component suppliers (granite counter top, applicances, tile) were good to work with and professional. Monarch did a great job.

    Kitchen Renovation

We had a kitchen renovation completed by Monarch less than a year ago and we can't be happier with the finished product. We have had so many compliments and have referred others to them. While we had a few minor glitches, all problems were taken care of without question or problem. The installation guys were fantastic and Kevin Samson stepped in seamlessly when our designer left. I guess the highest compliment we can give is the fact that we will definitely look to use them when we consider bathroom rennovations!!

    Kitchen reno

Great beginning experience, however following completion water leakage occured. After substaintial probing the company then did appropriate repairs - timely, clean, accurate but no personal follow-up to confirm project was acceptable and client was satisfied.

    Kitchen renovation

The design and execution of the design were poorly managed, such that I was required to dedicate at least one day per week to correcting errors. I would strongly advise that with any renovation one should hire somone to oversee the work being done. My 2 month old kitchen requires extensive remodelling to correct a cabinet design, wherein the fridge will not open fully, and the fridge door is hitting the granite counter top, thus causing a structural weakness in the expensive counter top. I also spent $3,000 on heated floors, which were not laid properly. Fortunately, this company is managed through Sears, who are sending a representative to check out my concernns. Also with Sears, you don't pay until the job is ended and you are satisfied. I like Sears policy and will work towards a reasonable resolution. Overall however, one needs a manager to manage the kitchen /contractor personnel.
