After living with the windows now for 2 years we are still so happy with our decision to go with Hometech. We live out of the city and it can be hard to find someone willing to travel. Daryl was super easy to coordinate with, everything thoroughly explained and multiple options were given considering out budget and age of the home. Only one star down because the finishing wasn't perfect, but we are very happy with the quality of the windows after 2 very cold winters!

Right from my first free estimate I had a great experience with Daryl and his team. I love my windows and door! And my pets love the windows too. I am very happy with everything.

Highly recommended. We did a fair amount of research and checked reviews on Edmonton window installers. Also got good feedback from a number of friends who have had Hometech install windows & doors. Contacted HomeTech for an estimate in May, 2019. Very knowledgable and answered all my questions. Got a couple of other quotes however we were very was impressed by Hometech. Our intent was to wait until 2020 to start the project. Hometech honoured the original quote as well as adding 2 basement windows & trim to all the windows. Project was completed on April 7, 2020 which included the removal & installation of 21 windows (of which 4 required cutting & framing). They completed the project in 2 days with 4 people. First rate job by the installation team who were friendly, worked diligently & efficiently, and answered all my questions.

Our neighbour recommended Hometech a few years ago and we had them replace several windows. The work was excellent! Recently, we requested that they replace more windows and the work was professional and meticulous. It was a different crew, but the standards were still excellent!

Work carried out in early Feb when the weather was 0 to -5 degree C. I was surprised that they completed all the work within 3 hours. They installed new frame and doors. Both men were very competent and each new what to do. Excellent workmanship. Preparation work to protect our wood floors was at the start of the job and cleanup at the end. It was as if nobody had been there. WELL DONE Hometeck your on site crew is commendable and must be a credit to your Company.

I have been a customer of Hometech Windows and Doors from their start in Edmonton. Over the last 15 years, Hometech has replaced all the windows and doors in my home - as I could afford them. No job was too small for me to receive exceptional product and service! Every installation cost was competitive. No gouging, and with this last installation, with the windows coming from their own manufacturing company, it felt like a 'honey, start the car!' purchase. I have only had to have two small fixes/adjustments done on their product over the years, and both were done with a smile, and at no cost to me. I am a tad sad that my home is complete with Hometech products - I have no need to work with them again. The Hometech crew is worth every star...and more.

They exceeded their word and beat other quotes by 10%. I am very satisfied with their workmanship, especially in preserving the inside oak paneling of the patio door. The manager was serious about making everything, however small, right, and would come back himself to do it. I would enthusiastically recommend Hometech Windows and doors to anybody.

We were very happy with the windows and installation that Hometech have provided us with. Daryl was great to work with and great at communicating with us. We have now got all of our upstairs windows replaced with hometech over the past 5 years and only one warranty issue which they replaced with no hassle. Would highly recommend hometech windows. Was also nice to work with a small company that cares than a large one where you are just an invoice number.

We had a great experience with Hometech and would highly recommend their services and their product. We really liked the representatives' honesty right from the moment we met Daryl at the Home Renovation show in Edmonton to our final payment (over the phone with Bev). We were looking for 3-pane basic windows to replace our 1970s metal slider windows. All the other window companies offered gimmicks (coating on windows, foam insulation in frames, etc.) and discounts, but David and Ilia told us all the info we needed for our bungalow and didn't try to upsell us on any of the gimmicks. We went with Hometech for their honesty and integrity. We also liked that we talked to real people right away (no machines or transfers) every time we called. Our windows included 4 basic white casement windows, 2 frosted (rain) awning windows, 1 slider window, and changed our large picture window in the living room to a picture window with 2 casements on either side. We received our quote in February; and windows were measured in April, installed in June, and finished in July, all in 2019. We were disappointed that it did take them three visits to complete the installation (first install date, they didn't have the interior casings and installed the slider window upside down; second install they installed the interior casings but couldn't fix the slider as they needed to order a whole new window; and finally on the third install they fixed the slider window). However, I was very happy that they were able to work with our schedules (came on the weekends and evenings) and that they didn't expect final payment until the job was completely done right. Our installers - Lindon, Ryan, and Daryl - were very nice, courteous (took their shoes off at the door though we told them they could keep them on), cleaned up the dust and installation mess, and were easy to talk to about the installation. Our windows have a lifetime warranty, which is transferrable to new homeowners if we decide to sell our home.They told us upfront that we would need to recaulk to reseal the windows in about 10 years and that's about it. They also told us to let them know if any frost builds up on the inside of the windows and they will come fix that ASAP. All has been great since installation. We noticed a big reduction in our heating bill so far this fall and winter, reduced road noise, and clarity. The windows are beautiful, the hardware is easy to use, and the screens are easy to remove. In the end, we only dealt with 6 people and knew them all and their roles and responsibilities, and are very satisfied with our new windows.

The Sales and Service was good. The windows are of high quality. The job was done efficiently. They clean up afterwards. No mess left behind. I used triple pane for the north facing windows. They were installed this past summer 2019. The room used to be quite cool in the winter and now it is just right. I've researched a little bit on the different window companies and products and Home Tech is what I've narrowed down to. Very satisfied. Thank you.
