    New front door

    First off, the door looks great. However, the service from this company is atrocious. On installation, the installers cut an electrical wire to an outdoor light next to the door. Denied any responsibility for the problem and now I'm out of pocket to have an electrician repair the problem. After four months, the door is sagging and sticking. Despite calls to the company, they do not return calls. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this company. When I first posted this review of the company on Homestars they denied I was a customer and I had to submit a copy of the invoice to Homestars to prove I was a customer. To date, they still have not tried to contact me to resolve issue.

    Replacement of 18 windows

    Highly recommended. Did a fair amount of research and checked reviews on Edmonton window installers. Also got good feedback from neighbors and friends who have had Hometech install windows & doors. Saw their booth at the Home Show and booked Ilya for an estimate. He is very knowledgable and answered all my questions. Got two other quotes but was impressed most by Hometech. Installers just finished installing 18 windows (casement, awning, and basement sliding windows plus a large living room window combo) which took 2 days - first day to install & complete interior finishing, second day to complete outdoor capping. First rate job by Eugene, Marcen, and Vladimir, who were friendly, worked diligently & efficiently, and answered all my questions. Will go to Hometech when I'm ready to replace my doors.

    FRONT DOOR

    The service we received was excellent, from the sales to the installment. Efficient, courteous, professional and friendly. We replaced a large double door entranceway which was approximately 65" and now we have a door and one of the side pieces that still opens up to provide us approximately 50" and seals really well. We dealt with David in sales and Mickail for installation. Very Happy Customers.

    Window installation

    After getting 4 quotes, I decided to have Hometech replace 4 windows in my home because Ilya, the salesman, took time to discuss the benefits of their windows in great detail. I found the price comparable with the other estimates. Although customer service (Beverly and Lana) gave me a choice of dates for installation, they did not mention that all items should be cleared around the windows for quicker installation. When Mickail, the installer, arrived to install the windows, he advised me it would take about 5 hours to replace the 4 windows and explained what he had to do. Mickail took extra care to cut shelving where required and assisted me with an extra window casing. Although installation took longer than expected, Mickail did a great job, explained how the windows worked and cleaned up every area before he left. I'm pleased with the new windows.

    4 windows replacement

    Service techs Mickail and Slava, courtesy of salesman David, came promptly at the very beginning of the afternoon. I was promised only that they would be here sometime in the afternoon, but they had arrived just after 12:30pm. While removing one of the old windows, I was wary at the idea of leaving in a bottom plate which showed evidence of moisture infiltration, but they went out of their way to appease my unease at leaving what was in their opinion a structurally sound bottom plate, and replaced it. They had gone above and beyond what was asked of them, including the repair and patching of some of the surrounding stucco, even though I had signed off on recognizing that they it was already damaged prior to window replacement. All in all, Mikhail and Slava worked hard, quickly and efficiently and recognized my concerns. Very satisfied with the work.

    New front door

    We used Hometech to install our new front door and we couldn't be happier with it. It looks great and they did an excellent job in the installation. Everything seems to be of the highest quality. We will use Hometech again.

    Windows

    I got home tech to do my windows through out my hole house ,they were the most professional, respectful group of people we have dealt with in a long time. Now that we have new windows my heating bill has dropped by a lot on a monthly bases , we can feel the difference with in the house as was our basement was very cool durning the winter and now is very comfortable. I can't thank these guys enough for the great job and service they provided.

    They are amazing

    Hometech Windows and Doors team had so much attention to detail and everything was done so perfectly! I highly recommend their service, they are amazing. We will call on them first if we have any other contractor needs.

    Bay window, bedroom windows, kitchen window and front door.

    We had Hometech install a new bay window, bedroom windows, kitchen window and front door into our residence. We were very impressed with the installers especially Vlad he is part of the family now! Everyone including the office staff and sales was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. These good folks did an excellent job from start to finish. We will continue to purchase the remaining windows for our house from Hometech with no reservations.

    Doors

    Hey all, this is the second time we have used Hometech. This time was for 3 doors for my house. Just saying thanks for all the hard work. We already recommend and will continue to recommend Hometech Windows and Doors. Cheers, Ronald
