Tony and his team put in a new kitchen, including structural work removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room. The hardwood flooring was also replaced throughout the main floor. Before the work started, Tony spent a lot of time with us going over plans to optimize the space and give us the look and feel we wanted. During the renovations, the team showed a great attention to detail and took great care and pride in their work. The work stayed on track despite the inevitable issues encountered with an older house, and Tony and team always followed up on any small details we brought to their attention. We love our new kitchen and are very happy we chose Mixedesigns for the project.

I am converting my bungalow into a multi-unit property. In order to do so legally the City of Toronto requires plans and specifications for the apartment layout. I was also removing a load bearing wall on the main floor to create open concept and required engineered drawings for that. Tony came to my property first to assess the job. He has a wealth of knowledge and gave me great design, layout and build ideas. Tony referred me to his designer Travis to do the design for the basement apartment and load bearing wall removal. Travis was a huge help throughout this process. He completed all the drawings on time and submitted them to the city for approval. He made the pain staking process of obtaining building permits much easier! He was always available and promptly answered my calls and text’s, even while on vacation. I highly recommend Mixedesigns these guys are very punctual, honest and professional to work with.

Tony and his team renovated our entire home, which is approximately 5000 sq ft. The end product is nothing short of exceptional. Tony and his team were professional, thorough and quick - they managed to complete our home in 5 months (despite the scale of the project) without impinging on quality. Tony pays very much attention to detail and will voice his opinions on design techniques when necessary. Tony and his team take very much pride in their work and will not rush to finish a job for the sake of completion. Tony has gone above and beyond in his role as a contractor; from coming to periodically check on the house after we moved in to attending meetings with various vendors for design input. In short, what struck our family most about Tony was that he cared about the final product and did not see this project as a mere business transaction. I found mixedesign through homestars and have been very pleased with their professionalism. I used mixedesign to do an extension in the back .
