We were very satisfied with the work done by FloorsDirect out of the Thornhill location. Their estimators are excellent and provided good advice on how to work within our condo. The price and the product were within our budget and the finished result is beautiful. We were not convinced to do all the floors in the condo at the outset and started with living and dining rooms. The finished result was so lovely and opened up the condo to such an extent that we asked Floors Direct to do the two bedrooms. The installers were professional and very neat and did a great job working within tight spaces and respecting the condo policies. We are very happy with the completed project.

We suffered a water incident that resulted in all the hardwood on the main level of our home having to be replaced - living room, dining room, den and hallways - a big job involving removing the old hardwood and then replacing it. We have nothing but great things to say about Floors Direct North! Martin, who did the estimate was very professional and thorough ensuring there were no surprises, Jeannie - provided the most awesome customer service! She was a huge help to us in the selection of the flooring and provided valuable information to help us prepare for the installation. Everything happened exactly when she said it would happen! She checked in (even on her vacation) to ensure we were happy and all was well. The installation team led by Ken was very impressive and had an amazing work ethic as well as great skill in both the removal and installation of the new floors and banister - all of which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!! This kind of customer focus certainly sets them apart for their competition>

Our new downtown condo was in desperate need of new floors. We had recently had the team re-carpet our upstairs in our house in Aurora, and were so pleased with the result, we knew exactly who to call!!! Floors Direct is one of the best companies we have dealt with-From the personalized service as we selected the floor, to their amazing flexibility/can do attitude, right down to the extreme professionalism of the instal team, we feel SOOO lucky to have found this spot! Floors look amazing, just flawless!

We were having our basement finished and needed broadloom and laminate flooring. Our contractor recommended Floors Direct North and we were glad he did. We visited the showroom and were able to find exactly what we needed from their extensive samples of flooring. Ben was very helpful and made our purchasing experience easy. He came over and measured up the basement and his suggestion of how to do the basement flooring was perfect. We had vinyl planks put in an office and foyer and then broadloom throughout the rest of the recreation room and down the stairs. The installers did a great job and were very professional. Our whole experience from start to finish with Flooring Direct North was great and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing flooring.

We recently had hardwood flooring installed by Floors Direct North and were thoroughly pleased with the service and the quality of work. It was a pleasure dealing with people like Martin, Jeannie, Ken and Ken, who made the customer feel like the king! Keep up the good work! All the good things that people are saying below are true!

I ordered some Armstrong hardwood flooring from Floors direct north. Ben gave me a very competitive price. I paid $3000 deposit and suppose to have delivery in a month. Once I received the items I noticed some issues with few boxes at this point I called Ben and explained him the issues. He was very calm and offered to replace the damaged boxes or ordering a new batch for me. I explained him that I was not sure if the next batch was going to have the same issues or not and I needed to do more research to pick the right wood for my house, so I asked him to cancel the order and take back the hardwoods. He mentioned that he was ok with whatever I decide and he wants me to be happy at the end. He was very fair and professional to refund me the whole deposit without charging me for delivery or restocking fee!

FloorsDirect came in to redo flooring that had been botched by another installer. They also carpeted our stairs and upstairs hallway. The flooring is so very well done, and the carpet - well, the installer is a consummate artist! Mohammad is more than knowledgeable about which materials would be best for the job, and is more than good at explaining it all in such a way as to make it all easily understood even for those of us who have no experience in this field. My absolute satisfaction with the job means I would not hesitate to recommend FloorsDirect to anyone I know who wants hardwood flooring and/or rug installation done.

Hardwood flooring laid throughout bungalow except bedrooms. I have never written a review for any product or service I have paid for and received but the quality service provided by Floors direct in Newmarket has compelled me to do so. I am of the opinion that it is easy to write a great review when all goes perfect but just like life the true character of a person and or person's will either shine or be ugly when things are alittle more challenging. I will first address Ken and Ken the installers from Floors Direct, they are the top of their field. When they laiD the flooring there was no kitchen at all to work around. Their attention to detail, knowledge, and work ethic is impeccable, they both are worth every penny and then some. Thanks Ken 1 and Ken 2 you were fantastic and we couldn't be happier. After we had our floors laid we noticed some noise that was not present with older previous hardwood and we contacted the owner Ben who immediately came back to our home to inspect the situation. Ben generously (Ben paid for the inspection) suggested bringing in a third party specialist from hardwood association to do a full inspection and provide a report with his findings. From the very start of this process Ben was extremely calm, kind and made it perfectly clear to us that it was important to him that we were happy with our floor and ultimately happy to have chosen Floors Direct. I will admit waiting for inspection and report was very stressful and we were probably a pain, we called Ben several times to say the least since we were concerned we were going to be left unhappy. Each and every time Ben took are calls reassuring us that they stand behind their product and service and will do everything in his power to ensure we were going to be happy in the end. I cannot say enough good things about the true character I personally witnessed of Ben, you are a great business man and I truly believe you want all the best outcome for your customers and you do go above and beyond. When the report came in and Vincent from the manufacturer from Twelve Oaks along with Ben came back to our home to discuss a resolution. Vincent was just as open as Ben was to resolve our problem, our thanks to you Vincent for being so accommodating. During this period we had email correspondence with Jeannie from head office arranging all the meetings, which I know was at times not easy. Thank you Jeannie for all that you did to push this project along you are a great asset to Ben and Floors Direct. Fast forward to decision of Vincent from twelve Oaks and Ben from Floors Direct, our floor was being taken up and replaced without any hassle. The redo was now complicated by the new kitchen that was installed 3 days after floor installation, and we were nervous about our kitchen baseboard trim which was extremely costly and had no idea how they were going to do it. Ben kept our faith in his word and the two Ken's expertise and not to worry (we still did though). Two days ago the previous flooring was taken up and yesterday the expensive trim was removed without incident and the new flooring was laid by the Ken's. Ben I say it has been a pleasure to do business with you and your team that surrounds you, your true character will continue to shine brighter despite challenges, you ARE a man of your word and your integrity is far none sir. We cannot thank you enough and we could not be anymore pleased with the outcome. Thank you Vincent from Twelve Oaks, Jeannie, Ken 1 and Ken 2 and last but not least Ben. See you soon for our carpet. We are very pleased with the results of the installation of our new hardwood floors. The installation team (Ken and Ken) did an awesome job. They replaced our floors and installed new stairs. We changed our minds several times during the process and they always responded to our request. They were respectful of our home and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. The end result far exceeds our expectations.

I live in a Century home so doing any kind of reno is always a challenge. I had squeaky, uneven, battered and slanted floors with not one straight line in the whole house! Floors Direct gave me options and came twice to look at what I had and what I wanted. Then Faisal at the store was very helpful in making my final choice of what was possible and explained everything to me in detail. He was knowledgeable, not pushy and very patient. The guys who actually did the install were great too -- polite, clean and hardworking, and they did a fantastic job! I'm very pleased with the result and would highly recommend Floors Direct. If I were to make one comment, I would suggest they say upfront that they subcontract out the actual installation work, because that put me off at first seeing another company truck pull up. But in the end, their workmanship allayed my initial dismay. Great job folks!
