    Carpet

    Floors Direct North reflects a level of professionalism, quality, and service we were most pleased with. The owner and his team are individuals of integrity, and ensure follow through and great satisfaction. Our carpet looks absolutely wonderful! Many thanks to Floors Direct North! We'll definitely be back for any future projects!

    Hardwood flooring

    When I was looking to get some hardwood I saw great reviews for Floors Direct North, they have exceeded my expectations. They were the best estimate and the work was done professionally and with quality workmanship. I now have 2 new rooms that are fabulous. I will certainly recommend them to all my friends, Thank you Floors Direct North, Newmarket. You did a great job!

    Repairs to Hardwood Flooring

    Our brand new hardwood floors were accidentally scratched (16 boards were affected). After much research, I contacted Floors Direct North (Thornhill Office) for advice, and they sent a technician to survey the issue, provide a solution and estimate. We were in the middle of a kitchen/family room renovation and needed the floors completed quickly in order to proceed. Much to my surprise, the floors were repaired within the week. While the price seemed a bit high at first, once I understood what needed to be done, and once I saw the results, it was well worth the cost. The floor looks like new again, and no one can tell which boards were replaced. The technicians were very professional, knew what they were doing, kept the area very clean, and cleaned up afterwords. We are super satisfied.

    Hardwood floor purchase and installation

    After looking around at hardwood floor companies it finally felt like a right fit working with this company in Doncaster. Jeannie was eager to ensure I picked a floor I was happy with and was never bothered by my constant trips and out of the store with samples. True customer support and caring. The installers, Ivan's team were worth waiting for and installed the floors with precision and care of my home. They even took my dog for walks on their own initiative which I truly appreciated. I am so happy with the floor I finally picked and the expert installation and look forward to working with Jeannie and Ben in the future.

    stairs carpeted

    This compnay was very flexible, and had no pressure selling. I took my time choosing a colour and type of carpet. Recommendations were made but I was able to take my time. When it came to getting the stairs completed I was booked in quickly and they did a fantastic job. I am very pleased with the turnout and would recommend them to others.

    laminated hardward floors

    I am very happy with the work that was done to put hardwood flooring in my condo. The worked very clean and fast, and I am very satisfied. they were on time, and came when they promised, the owners and office staff were very friendly and helpful.

    Hardwood floor installation

    This was the second time we hired Floors Direct North to do work at our home. Our experiences have been wonderful. The store is a laid back yet educational setting where there is no rush to select what you need flooring wise. We dealt with Jeannie who is a super sales person and Ben who is the owner. Both personify professionalism. Deliveries were made as promised. Installation was done in the time promised. The crew sent to install our mail floor hardwood led by Ivan was accomodating,skilled and friendly. If you are looking for an honest setting to decide on flooring then this is the store to deal with. We researched countless stores from Barrie to Toronto and found the experience unmatched at Floors Direct North. I strongly recommend anyone considering a flooring job to go to Floors Direct North and speak to them. Their honest straightforward way of doing business will be a refreshing change from their competition. Well done Jeannie, Ben, Ivan and all the other folks we dealt with. What a truly enjoyable experience! Tom

    Basement

    I visited a few stores before finding Floors Direct but I could see right away that they were different from the other stores and that I would purchase my floors from them. They were accommodating right from the time I walked in the store to the time I received my delivery. John and Sanketh are two of the best sales personnel I have dealt with in a long time. I can’t say enough good things about them. They were professional, straight forward about price, knowledgeable about their product, patient and helpful while we made our decision and really interested in making sure we were happy with our purchase. No hard sales tactics on purchasing or installation. Installation was easy and the floors were a good quality product. Floors look fantastic.

    laminate flooring in kitchen

    I was impressed firstly with the salesman Ben. He provided me with a quote that was broken down with the individual components so I knew exactly what I was paying for. The workmen were effiecient and willing to accomodate my requests and concerns. They were in and out in 2 days. I was pleased with the results.

    Hardwood Install

    The company has some challenges on delivering on commitments. A scheduled delivery of product was cancelled, late in the afternoon, the day of. The scheduled installation date was also cancelled the day of. The installers were friendly, helpful, and diligent. They worked steady throughout the day and completed the installation to a satisfactory level. Please note, this does not mean 'bad'. It means exactly, satisfactory - not outstanding. Where it fell short are the noticeable indentations of the nailer on the edges of the flooring, some chips/dents/scratches, a few larger than normal gaps between flooring. I can notice these from a standing position and does not require close examination. Is it to the extent that warrants rework - no. Could it be improved, sure. Would I recommend, yes. Please not that while I attempted to provide a fair review, I may have failed to adequately express my opinion of the install. To be precise, I am satisfied with the installation. It is not my intention to write a negative review or imply poor performance on part of the installers. The work is satisfactory and I would not seek rework as a result of any imperfections noted above. These, I suspect, could be characterized as 'normal' or 'usual' during the course of install. By noting the imperfections I am merely trying to advise that should be seeking absolute perfection you will have a difficult search.

    Our sincere apologies John for the delivery and installation getting messed up, I assure you it wasn't intentional on either count. We did have difficulties with both the awful weather and our driver, and we are in the midst of sorting the latter. Sadly, the weather we can't control and although these things happen, it was very unfortunate for both to happen to you.. Regarding the slight gapping you spoke of John (which I believe you didn't mention to the installer or the store), we can most definitely send our installer back to take a look. We are always striving to improve, and we will be delighted to come out, so please call the store to arrange a visit if this is still bothering you.
