    Whole home flooring renovation

    Met with John McConnell when we got here. He was extremely helpful and professional. He gave us advice on the type of flooring that would best suit our home and family environment. He also advised on which styles were not affected by shortages. John even allowed us to take samples home. The prices were extremely competitive with other vendors we got quotes from. After the fact Mike came out within a few days to do the measurements and we got a quote. Even when we needed to modify our date for install they were extremely flexible and made it work with us. An installer named Chen came out and did an amazing job. He finished a day ahead of schedule. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Thank you John, Mike, Chen and the entire Floors Direct team in New Market.

    The Best Choice for Flooring

    My wife and I were very pleased with this company. They were helpful in selecting the hardwood for our home and in all aspects of their service, from the sales team to the installers, they demonstrated professionalism and courtesy. On completion of their work, we were very pleased with our beautiful new hardwood floors which fit in with the rest of our house perfectly. The floor installation team was very proficient - in and out in one day. Most important, the team sales team representative advised on preparing for the installation and even working with us on dismantling heavy furniture before the installation team arrived. Special care was taken to explain the features of the hardwood and how to maintain the beauty of our new flooring. They cleaned the new floors and made sure we were satisfied with all aspects of their service.

    Flooring is INCREDIBLE!

    Jeannie from Floors Direct North was incredibly helpful with deciding on the right type of flooring for the basement. I showed her a number of different pictures of the space we were looking into and she made a lot of great suggestions and helped stay within the price point we were looking into. I was able to take many samples home to decide what would look best, and her vast knowledge really helped with making a decision. The installation was effortless (on my part of course) and I would have never imagined the floors to look this incredible! Also, not sure exactly how much was paid as it was an insurance claim

    Family room, kitchen 3 bedrooms, stairs and bannister

    I had a wonderful experience dealing with Floors Direct North. From the first phone call right through till the end of the installation. Jeannie is a sweetheart, who took the time to explain every step of the process. Ken and the guys that work for him, were amazing. They worked long hard hours, and got the job completed on time. All interactions with this company were wonderful!!!! Highly recommend!!!

    Gorgeous handrailing, posts and balusters!

    We had a vision of how we wanted our staircase to look and Kyle helped us plan it all. He was courteous and professional and we're grateful for his guidance and communication through our many iterations! Chen and Leung worked hard all day and happily colour-matched the stain for us, expertly transforming our railing into a beautiful focal point. We couldn't be happier and would absolutely recommend Floors Direct North!

    Please READ I had to call 911

    Floors Direct North in Newmarket sanded and stained my living and dining room floors 3 times before getting it done correctly. The contractor who did my floors the first two times did not match the stain the first time (way off), and then the second time the stain would not dry (weird mixture used). He put two heaters in my home and left for another job, saying he would be back in the afternoon. I was working from home and started feeling nauseous, headache and tingling in my nose when breathing. The carbon monoxide detector went off and I called 911. Fire, ambulance and police were all at my home to take care of myself and my elderly parents (86 and 87 years old). A salamander heater was put in my home, causing carbon monoxide levels to get very high. There is also a DANGER sign in my front window which indicates there is Oxygen in the home, which was ignored. We are all so lucky to be okay and nothing more serious happened. If you care about your family and home, think twice before using this company. Very unprofessional, rude and I still have not heard from them, or received any type of apology. NOT Recommended.

    Basement flooring and new stair treads

    This company is exceptional. There crews we’re always on time . The work was done in record time and the workmanship was flawless. I would recommend this company to everyone. They deserve a 10 . Jack and Cathie Atkinson.

    Great product, fast installation

    Floors Direct replaced our kitchen laminate with beautiful vinyl planks and we are so pleased with the result. We worked with Mike who responded to our questions quickly and helpfully. The installation was very quick and looks flawless. We would definitely use this company again.
