    Three Room Vinyl + Stairs Carpet

    Told the job should only take a day and possibly part of the next day for possible touch-ups. When a single installer showed up to deliver the supplies and he said he would be there early the next morning to work alone, I knew there would be a problem getting it done on time. There was big furniture to shift. This was understood from the beginning. As I will be living with these floors for years, it was important to me that the floors were done right so I wasn't too worried about quick. Del and Rob were friendly and focused on doing the job right. The end result was worth it. The floors look amazing. I am so happy to see those carpets go.

    Carpet Installation

    We have had previously installed hardwood and basement carpet by Floors Direct North. This time our 30+ year carpet in our upper floor needed to be replaced. Sara at the Doncaster store was very helpful in the carpet selection. The carpet was expertly installed by RIdvan, who was meticulous and had the expertise to deal with the more complicated installation on the stairway. As usual the installers used by this company did an excellent job.

    Upstairs hardwood installation and stair carpeting

    Two weeks ago, Direct Flooring installed oak hardwood in my three bedrooms and hallway. They did a terrific job and completed everything within 3 days. They were very efficient and very polite and left my home spotless. They even sanded my stair railings and spindles to ensure that they perfectly matched my hardwood floorings. The next business day the carpet installer came and did a great job on the stairs even though the pile on the carpet was a challenge to lay on the stairs. He also left my home neat and tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone both for price. selection and quality of installation. Thank you Direct Flooring.

    Carpet Removal, Install of Engineered Hardwood and Hardwood Stairs

    I hired Floors Direct North (Newmarket Office) after doing some research with a few other companies for the following work. Removal of old carpet, installation of Engineered Hardwood Floors (2nd Floor) – 3 Bedrooms and a large landing. Also in their scope of work was to put in new hardwood stairs, stain the old railing and install new pickets, plus painting. Was told they would start on the July Long Weekend (Monday). Was skeptical so I asked more than once and was told they would start on the Monday. Work did not start until the Tuesday. Work was completed minus the painting within the week per our agreement. When the work was completed there were various issues that required 2 additional follow up visits. 1st time there was a major scratch cause by the contractor they used. Required them to come hack up the floor and replace it with new flooring. Additional nails and installation / fixes would then require an additional visit. They did fix all the issues except 2 that I am not satisfied with but left to fix on my own. Looks nice but not a good experience and would look elsewhere in the future. It was also difficult communicating with the installers as one spoke zero English and the other very poor English. You will find 2 photos. Photo 1 I was told by the installers that was my fault and I should fill and paint it. They created it as a result of their work. 2nd was the wood delaminating. They threw in a few nails. Looks Terrible and I guess I am left to paint it.

    I am so sorry your experience with us wasn't the best. If you look through all our reviews you will see we don't usually have many issues so I'm sad you were one of the few. If things don't go as planned we usually try very hard to put things right so I'm surprised we didn't in your case. Many installers these days don't speak good English - that's just the way it is but any problems if addressed through the store are dealt with by the sales staff liaising with the installer.     Carpet Installation

    10/10. Outstanding variety and quality. Lots to choose from. Something for every budget. Wonderful customer service. Carpet installation was completed in two days. Price included removal and disposal of old carpeting, screwing down floor boards, laying of new under padding and carpet itself. Carpet layer did an awesome job and left area spotless. Very happy with job. Has transformed look and feel of bedroom level of home. Did awesome job on step runners also. Would highly recommend.

    Happy Customer in Beaverton, Ontario

    Floors Direct North installed a maple hardwood engineered floor in a large part of the first floor of my house. I was genuinely impressed by the quality of their service and customer relations. I am senior and I really appreciated the care that Ben and Faisal, the sales representatives, took to explain the installation procedure and their product. I love the flooring I chose: the quality of the maple is excellent. The company respected my dates for installation and the installers were quick and efficient. I shopped around quite a bit and had stopped in on at least 6 places before settling on Floors Direct North and therefore, highly recommend this company. No other company took as much care to make me a happy customer.

    Laying hardwood flooring

    Faisal and his team were top notch. From the quote to delivery to install all within 3 days. Faisals team stayed quite late to complete the job in a single day and Faisal followed up through each part of the process to ensure client satisfaction. As a retired Corporate Leader I appreciated the professionalism and personalization demonstrated and highly recommend their services.

    Hardwood Floor Renovation

    We had new hardwood floors installed throughout the house including new staircase and vinyl flooring in the front entrance and powder room. This was our first major renovation and needless to say we were very nervous. Kyle and his sidekick Ozzy were great in helping us throughout the whole process. Customer service was excellent. Kyle was very knowledgeable and patient in addressing all our questions and concerns. The installers, Tran and his partner, were very professional and efficient. We are very happy with the end results and everything looks beautiful. We highly recommend Kyle and Floors Direct North.

    Carpet installation

    Definitely made the right decision to use Floors Direct (Doncaster location) to oversee the installation of carpeting for our living/dining rooms, stairs and landing. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Kyle and Mohammed were so patient and helpful during the selection process and Ridvan was an exceptionally hard working and professional installer who made sure every detail was perfect. It was a very positive and hassle free experience and we would not hesitate to use Floors Direct again. Thank you!

    Flooring

    Love my New basement floors! The lay out was pattern was distributed perfectly! Was able to get a great quality flooring which didn’t take long to have delivered! Thanks to Jason and Jennie for all your help in choosing this flooring!
