    Electrical repairs/upgrades

    I called to make an outlet repair, move an outlet and remove a baseboard heater in advance of my fireplace installation. Mark was very prompt in responding and provided very good advice on my options which resulted in not all of the work I had anticipated being required. I really appreciated his honesty, expertise and fair pricing. I have several other projects which will require electrical service and will definitely be giving Green Planet my business.

    Installation of light fixtures

    We had Mark come in to install some chandeliers and accent lighting in our dining room and kitchen. He was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He even gave us great advice for the accent lighting that would work best in our kitchen! He was always punctual and his pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend Mark for timely, honest and quality work done at a great price. It's rare to find a person as pleasant and honest as him in this profession!

    Electrical Upgrade for an old house

    We hired Mark after seeing the reviews on home stars. We found him very knowledgeable. His attention to details and he stuck to his price although the work took longer than normal. I have recommended him to a few of my friends and they felt the same. I believe good service should be recommended. Thanks Green Planet Electric!

    Replace Breaker in Elecrical Panel

    We had a power outage in three rooms of our home. After exhausting all of our electrical knowledge;turned to the internet and found Green Planet Electric. After reading the rave reviews gave them a call. To make a long story short...Mark arrived when he said he would and was able to diagnose the problem within minutes and had it repaired promptly.     Electrical Upgrades

    I wanted to upgrade the electrical switches and receptacles on the main floor in my home. I checked Homestars and found that Green Planet Electric had excellent reviews and ratings. I called and Mark answered the call immediately. I was not only impressed that Mark answered the phone personally but after describing my project Mark gave me a very reasonable flat rate price on the phone. We made an appointment for next week and Mark arrived right on time. Mark is a very experienced master electrician and carried out the work in a very professional and tidy manner. Being an older home some creative wiring existed but Mark corrected them without hesitation. Mark is very thorough, careful and competent. While working in the kitchen Mark noticed that a receptacle beside the sink was not a GFI and was a safety hazard. He recommended that this be replaced with a GFI as soon as possible (but did not pressure me to get him to do the work as an extra). Because of the older wiring the work took longer then originally anticipated but Mark kept to the quoted price. I was so satisfied with the work that Mark carried out previously, that a week later I asked him to return to replace the GFI that I purchased plus replace several other switches etc. Again the work was excellent and the price very fair and reasonable. I will be getting further electrical upgrades done in the spring and will be asking Green Planet to do this work for me. I would certainly recommend Green Planet Electric to anyone who needs the services of an electrician. This firm is certainly deserving of the 10 out of 10 rating that I provided.

    Install globe pendants from high ceiling

    We contacted several electricians on HomeStars with respect to installing 2 globe pendants from a 17' high ceiling. Green Planet Electric's quote was not the lowest, nor the highest, it was - however - very very fair. He also accepts credit cards for payment (loyalty points!) and he asked pertinent questions about the job site. Mark arrived on time to take a closer look at the project, asked us about what was important to us with respect to the placement, spacing, etc and provided us with several options. It was a mini brainstorming session - we could tell he really wanted us to be aware of all of our options. When we arrived at an agreed-upon solution and pricing, Mark returned on time at a later scheduled date to complete the work. He took great care not to damage any of our property and laid down protective coverings over the work area. The entire process was very smooth and we will be using Mark for all of our future wiring needs and recommending him to everybody looking for a licensed electrician. He was punctual, polite and very professional. We could not be happier. Thanks for a great job Mark!

    Repairing breaker and relocating wiring

    We had the pleasure of Mark doing some work for us. He arrived on time and his work is very neat and precise. We were very pleased with his expertise and service.     Panel Replacement

    We hired Mark to replace our main electrical panel. He did an excellent job and found Mark to be very professional and knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to hire him again.

    Ceiling fans

    Mark installed 4 ceilings fans in the bedrooms where there were existing electrical boxes, and another fan in the family room that required new cable to be run. His work was very clean, and thorough. I found him to be very friendly and honest (which can sometimes be hard to find in people). Would definitely use him again for future work.

    240V wiring for outside SPA

    We found Mark on Homestars. He arrived at our home on time and reviewed all requirements and then gave us a quote. The price was more than fair. He arrived later the same day to do the work (after purchasing the materials). He was polite, professional, and tidied up after he wsa completed. Our work involved a permit which Mark obtained, An inspector from the ESA had to approve the work. Mark arranged for the earliest possible date for the inspector to arrive. Mark arrived at my home on the day of the inspection so he could walk the inspector through the wiring he completed and address any issues. The inspectore was at our home less than 15 minutes and fully approved all the work. I heard comments such as "perfect", "awesome", "good idea" from the inspector. I will be calling Mark again for all future electrical work.
