    Ceiling fixtures for an old home

    Mark was friendly and was willing to investigate and diagnose a few unusual problems. We have some new wiring and some K&T, and wanted proper boxes to install ceiling fans safely. Mark was thoughtful about ensuring options were SAFE, not too invasive to ceilings but solved our issues!! It was a pleasure to have him solve this problem that we have struggled with for over a year!! I highly recommend him to other home owners, we are in the beach and I know many others have renovated or partially renovated homes----small repairs often uncover interesting mysteries in these old homes.

    Replaced Service Mast

    During a storm, a tree pulled down our service mast for our electrical which we found out the city doesn't pay for. Mark from Green Planet was fantastic. He responded promptly, was the most cost effective quote, showed up on time, came in on budget, cleaned up after the repair and was very professional. Since then we had him fix a light fixture as well! I would highly recommend Mark and Green Planet!

    Good electrical work

    We hired Mark from Green Planet Electric to work on our most recent project and have worked with him on other very delicate projects. He is very detailed and careful with his work; I find mark to be very honest. Our project required coordination with the Electrical Safety Authority and the Local Utility still Mark and his team were able to finish the Electrical installation on time – as a General contractor, I have worked with many other trades and I am very happy to work with Green Planet Electric. I will keep him for myself. But will recommend his good work.

    DSL/telephone wiring

    I have dry loop DSL Internet through Teksavvy and was having intermittent dropping of Internet access on the line. After troubleshooting with Teksavvy/Bell technicians to no avail, I found Mark & Green Planet on homestars.com. Mark was awesome! He managed to squeeze me in after his last job of the same day that I called him. He telephoned me as he was leaving that job, so I could leave work to get home in time to meet him. He was extremely courteous, took off his shoes without me asking and cleaned up after his work. He was also extremely efficient, managing to not only troubleshoot my Internet problem and fix it, but also fix an annoying electrical outlet malfunction and he gave me an estimate for another small electrical job on the spot. Mark takes credit cards, so I got points, and the receipt was emailed to me on the spot! I am so pleased with his work, polite attitude and his organizational skills that I will definitely call Mark again for future electrical work and have referred him to others. Thanks to homestars, I have found a reliable certified electrician who will work downtown on small jobs!

    Move electrical outlet

    Mark was so nice. We had a mix-up in the date he was going to come, and he felt so bad that he wasn't going to charge us. It was a small job, but it was nice of him. We paid him, but it was a nice gesture. How many contractors would do that! He was super nice to deal with.

    Replace a ceiling fan

    Mark Fraser of Green Planet Electric is a personable individual who was very accommodating in finding a time that was convenient for me. He arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and vacuumed the work area when he was finished. Although the job took somewhat more than two hours, he did not charge me for the overtime and indeed gave me an additional discount. The amount was reasonable and the work was excellent.

    Electrical

    Mark was courteous efficient and effective. He was able to laterally think and solve issues as well as perform the usual everyday electrical tasks with great skill. Don't hesitate to call him. Big or small.

    electrical work

    I had Mark do the electrical work in my Etobicoke condo renovation. It was quite involved since we took out the entire kitchen and one wall which exposed a lot of conduit . Mark really knows his stuff he was familiar with condo construction and the electrical work was no problem for him. He was very professional , always there when he said he would be there , gave me good advice on how I should do things , even had my job inspected to make sure everything was done by code. Mark is also very friendly and personable I recommend him to friends and associates for their electrical needs.

    outdoor wiring

    I have hired Mark to do a number of jobs over the past year or so and it has always been a great experience. He completed a job left only half done by a previous contractor as well as sorting our various issues in my old, rather quirky house. The quality of work is outstanding and Mark is always a pleasure to deal with.

    Upgrade breaker box

    Mark arrived on time to provide the quote. The deposit was reasonable and in line with the cost raw materials required to start the work. Communication before the installation was easy, he replied to emails and phone messages quickly. He arrived on time to start work on the day of installation. He did some clever things I wouldn't have thought of like prioritizing the fridge circuit and rooms I needed electricity for other work on the home that day. Mark is very courteous and thoughtful, he offered to help me if I ran into problems with other home improvements I was working on that day (I'm not very handy). Check out his website and blog, some interesting stuff there. I would highly recommend him to friends, family and all the rest.
