Dmitri tiled my entire basement and bathroom. To be totally honest, the job done is amazing. The work was done to schedule and my basement is now beautiful. Highly recommended.

Dmitri did an incredible job, he was very prompt with arriving to provide a quote. We had a difficult job of trying to add tiles to an existing tile floor that was 20 years old. we were in the middle of a Reno and time was running out. Dmitri was very quick to come to the rescue and even came by two other times to provide advice and an opinion. He showed up when he said he would and was always on time. I would recommend Dmitri to anyone looking to install tiles or back splash.

We got Dmitri's name through Homestar reviews. Dmitri properly assessed and solved the problem of our leaking shower stall. Other contractors came in and quoted us an arm and leg to rip out the entire stall to fix the leak. Dimitri suggested to redo the floor with epoxy instead. The leak was fixed and he did an excellent job on the floor. He was professional and answered all our questions. He also came in to check up on his work through a follow up and made sure that indeed there was no leak. He wanted to make sure that we were 100% satisfied with his workmanship. I would highly recommend Tilestars to future customers and have him come in again to do more work. Dimitri was honest, professional, responsive and saved us a lot of money!

We were referred to Dmitri from our trusted handyman. We had a relatively small job for him, which was to re-tile our shower stall floor and threshold without removing all the floor to ceiling tiling. We had been experiencing some mold and mildew from a poor original installation with porous materials. Dmitri recognized the problem right away and was able to quote us for the specific, limited job. He completed the job in 3 short visits, and was clean/tidy and courteous. We are very pleased with the result and would recommend him to others.

I had a glass subway tile kitchen backsplash installed by Dimitri. Out of the three quotes, he was the only one that explained the whole process in detail. Very meticulous and did not leave without making sure it was done perfectly. He cleaned up and took any garbage from the job with him. Definitely deserves 10 stars. Thank you Dimitri!!!

We had about 75sf of kitchen backsplash tiled by Dmitri. We supplied the tile, he supplied all other materials and labour required. He calculated tile yields so well that we ended up with a full box left over, which is great as we have another small area we want him to tile in the same room!! He came to our home, reviewed the conditions, made recommendations for grout and edge trim, laid out his quote and what was included. Within two weeks the work was complete! At all times he was professional and polite. He was easy to contact via phone and text, and confirmed times and dates ahead of time. Once the work started in our kitchen, he was extremely respectful of our home, work areas were kept neat and clean, floors and countertops always protected. Any questions we had were addressed quickly and professionally. We are VERY happy with Dmitri's work. We would hire him again, and will recommend him to anyone.

Dmitri did a great job. He suggested doing dry pack over the subfloor instead of self leveling. He also had great suggestions for the type of tile and where to purchase them. He showed up exactly when he said he would and finished on time. He is very tidy. I'll be having him back on future tile work.
