It is rare to get more than you pay for, but with JMT it seems to be the norm rather than the exception. Two of our neighbours had JMT do thier roofs. Both of them raved about how pleased they were with the results. I am a bit skeptical so I had gotten quotes from several "big" players that also had 10/10 ratings on this site. Their quotes were significantly more (almost 1.5X) than what John had provided us. Clearly out of our budget. I compared those quotes and thier features and material as apples to apples and with John's quote and things were essentially the same. Except of course the price. But it isn't all about the price. There are often cheaper quotes out there but as they say you get what you pay for as often is the case with the low bidder. With John you get more than you pay for! Seeing the results he's got to be the best out there at any price. I didn't feel like he was discounting his prices either. I get the sense that he charges what is fair and knows that quality work means he doesn't have to come back and fix things so doesn't have to over charge. His workmanship guarantee was better than any of the other quotes I got as well. We have a pretty simple roof of around 4,000 sq/ft. But we also had several vaulted ceilings with T&G Cedar finishing inside where our 7 skylights were. At every point John was willing to work with us as we wanted to buy two opening skylights ourselves. With john there was no problem he gave us a quote to install them and he stuck to it. Even though the opening skylights required some modifications to the openings in our vaulted ceilings. John also proved time and again that he and his crew are honest and straight forward, they showed me exactly what was needed for the skylights to fit and offered several options to make things work. By that point I could with confidence say "do what ever is easiest for you" and I know they would do what was best. And sure enough the work they did to the skylight wells looks great! I couldn't even tell they were modified. I didn't know John before we went ahead with replacing our roof. But I am glad I know him now. He really is a great guy. I now know my why my neighbours were so adamant that John was the right choice. His price was the best hands down. His expertise, service, and materials are excellent. John and his crew are knowledgeable and conscientious, friendly, polite and caring. Everything was cleaned up and they were quick and thorough. They didn't cut corners. They kept me informed. And they did an excellent job. I would highly and with the greatest confidence recommend John and the JMT team for any and all your roofing and gutter needs. I say all and any because John really knows his stuff. And he will tell you if there is something he can't do. So if he says he can do something you can be confident he can! Thanks John. I HAD ALSO USED JMT ROOFING FOR MY ROOF A FEW YEARS AGO AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULT . TWO NEIGHBOURS OF MINE HAVE JUST USED THIS COMPANY FOR THEIR ROOFS AND ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS . I was very happy with the roof that john an his crew put on. His installers were top notch. John quoted a price an he was true to his word.I have seen there work on a couple houses in my neighbor hood an they have been very happy too.

We had other roofing quotes, but went with JMT because of John’s professionalism and the time he took in explaining everything that needed to be done including info about the product they use. The crew were quick and efficient and had the roof and gutters on within 3 days (went from cedar to asphalt, 3 skylights replaced and new gutters). We are extremely pleased with the job and the guys that did it. The crew showed up when they said they would and were very respectful of our property. They took the time to cover the plants and bushes that were directly below the roof; and cleaned everything at the end of each day. (it was cleaner when they left than when they came!) They were so hard working. We highly recommend John and JMT roofing to anyone needing roof or gutter work; they are excellent. Thank you for doing such a great job!!

I was extremely happy with the total package of this company's work. John was prompt in his phone calls and presented a very reasonable quote and excellent advice on roofing concerns... he is passionate about what he does and it shows in his pride of a job well done. I had a 20+ year cedar roof that kept me up at night when it rained. Have been putting of this job for a couple years and it was finally time. When I called John, he came over promptly and had all of the answers and info that I needed. Based on some other quotes I received, John was the best and he had great reviews. He was even able to accelerate the timeline to get me in queue sooner than later...my roof must have been bad. The crew showed up as planned, worked very professionally and were extremely polite. After each day, they cleaned up all debris and left the area organized. While they were at it, they replaced two skylights and all of the gutters,even fixing some of the shoddy downspout locations from the builder. Everything looks awesome and the price was extremely fair. I would absolutely recommend this company and I couldn't be happier. Thanks John!

John & company put a new roof on for us 1 year ago and I wanted to wait for some of the asphalt 'debris' to run off before replacing the gutters. Well now it was time. Called John and he called me with an estimate a few days later. The work began a few days after that. His crew were quick and efficient. It's amazing what an improvement the new gutters are, the house looks cleaner! John followed up a few days after they were installed. Coincidentally my husband had JUST noticed a leak. Leo came back the very next morning and fixed it for us. And apparently their work is guaranteed for 5 years. Could not be more happy with the service (and price!) from this company!!! JMT roofing did a great job on our roof replacement. Also replace our gutters and sky light that is getting there in age. John went through with us the details and the contract and what needs to be done. Job took 3-4 days to finish due to one day where weather was not good. Everything was done perfect. We were looking to get our roof and gutters re-done a couple of weeks ago. Our old roof was about 22 years old. What notified us about getting it done was our gutters was leaking and and repairs to it would be substantial so we decided to replace the roof along with the gutters in the process. We made various calls to other roofing companies on the homestars website. John (owner) from JMT was prompt to our call and came by with a quote. The quote was very competitive compared to the other quotes we got. It was almost the most reasonable within our budget. John was very informative and discussed the status of our roof. He was very honest and didn't try to upsell anything. He was honest about the fact that our roof was in decent shape and could probably last a few more years but the gutters were in bad shape. This reinforced what we already knew and it instilled our confidence with John and is Company. He gave us the option that maybe we didn't really need a roof replacement just yet but with the gutter situation, it might be best to bite the bullet now. I would recommend John and JMT to anyone. If nothing else, do yourself a favor and at least call JMT and get a quote as part of your initial screening process. I fielded quotes from many companies and at the end of the day, JMT was the outright best choice.

We had a leak during a heavy rain storm coming from one of our chimneys. John came by promptly and checked out everything and recaulked all possible areas. Great service! John also replaced our gutter down pipes and did a fantastic job! Would highly recommend JMT for any roofing or gutter replacement or repairs.
