Hi Nancy Cameron,
This is our response to your review concerning your painting project at Unit 203 - 518 W 14th Avenue, Vancouver. I hope each customer can read this in its entirety to fully understand the true outline of events.
Our team is terribly disturbed by your false review with fake and incomplete accusations. During our final walkthrough with you and our team, you were completely satisfied with the work once it was fully completed to your satisfaction after all the touch-ups/deficiencies and you and your husband Paul's concerns were addressed. In any home improvement project, touch-ups almost always take place, and this is indicated in your contract. Everything was addressed in a timely manner. As we do with all of our customers, we specifically mentioned that we would not accept payment from you until you are 100% satisfied with the work. Due to the inconvenience of timing and delay (which happens on occasion due to the nature of the season, industry, and especially backlog from Covid-19), we provided a $200 discount off your bill without you asking for it. You signed off on the Customer Sign-Off Inspection Form on October 2, 2020, and the job was deemed finished after payment was received on October 5, 2020.
This form is presented to ensure that each of our customers is happy and satisfied with the work that is completed by Prorise Painting. This is an additional step that we proudly take to provide our customers with an opportunity to bring forth any final concerns or questions prior to signing off on this final document as it represents a stamp of approval. Again, our company does not accept payment until this form is signed, which demonstrates the customer is happy with the work provided, and only after a thorough final walkthrough is conducted with the Job Supervisor.
Here are some points to address your false statements:
* Joseph did not agree to strip the metal window frames. The scope of work including exclusions is clearly stated in your contract.
* Your floors and furniture were protected with plastic and clean drop sheets. The paint splatter on the floor you have referenced to is dust and was cleaned up right after the photo was taken. This was immediately addressed already.
This is malicious and unfair to us. We are not sure why you have chosen to slander our company after the job has been complete and that we had resolved all issues for you with kindness and patience. We stand by our work and customer service, and are shocked and saddened to receive such a poor recollection of the truth. We took all the necessary steps to ensure that you were happy and satisfied with the final work by presenting opportunities for you to address any outstanding concerns prior to receiving the final payment. We completed your project on budget, to your satisfaction, and we also provided a $200 discount for the scheduling inconvenience.
Your outright false accusations are slanderous and defamatory in nature, falsely criticizing our company and jeopardizing the reputation that all of our team members have worked so hard to build.
Joseph
