Aaron returned my call within 5 minutes and was able to explain what was required and could provide high-level quoting information after I emailed photos to him within minutes. Aaron Hill and his crew were amazing. Called him around noon and he was at site by 3:30 to assess and quote. On a very windy day October 28 he and his crew of 4 men and 2 women came as promised 8:45 am and dropped the tree perfectly. Trimmed and mulched up the branches without any mud or dirt. Let me start by saying I was skeptical that any tree removal company could have such a high rating in Homestars. After using Toronto Tree Removal, I can confirm that they did an amazing job! Over the years, I have contracted with three other Toronto big name companies - but without a doubt, Aaron and his team are far more superior. Our 70 year tree suffered severe damage during a wind storm. Aaron helped me work with the city to get approval to get the tree removed. The quote they provided was fair and reasonable. Aaron's team showed up on time, did the job and did an amazing job cleaning up. Their entire team was also very professional and courteous. Save yourself time and give Aaron a call if you need an arborist.

October 22, 2015 Like a freshly cleaned and clutter free room! A collegial group of 5 men from Toronto Tree Removal worked for 6 solid hours today taking down a soaring spruce and a mature maple wedged between two sheds and in direct contact with a fence and hydro wires. They also limbed two larger spruces similar in size to Jack's beanstalk. The trees had been neglected for years upon years and now they look rejuvenated and my yard is a pleasure to view. Someone on the team has a great esthetic eye! It took a little time (just over a week) to pin Aaron, the owner/manager, down for a consultation but once I figured out he was a phone guy (not so much an emailer) things happened very quickly and promptly. I met with Aaron on October 19th and we jointly chose today for the work to be done. After collecting price advice, reading the Homestars reviews and meeting Aaron in person for the consult, I felt absolutely no need to go comparison shopping. He and his team were amiable and frank, the price was entirely reasonable, and they honored every detail discussed. Aaron followed up on the day within an hour. The team had to access our side and backyard neighbours' properties and they took the time to protect the properties before starting their work. All yards were left cleaner than they found them. The truck and chipper didn't fit easily on my midtown-Toronto street and we had to block a neighbour's driveway. I was pleased that one of the team members was always aware and available to move the truck promptly when my neighbour returned home. I could stop my glowing review right here but I really want to mention two additional touches that impressed me. In addition to the chipped wood, some wood was repurposed in other ways: 1) We had a small existing pile of wood from a fruit tree that Aaron agreed to remove. He chose to save it to be used for smoking planks and 2) Aaron knew a contact who is a floral artist; She came over to collect many of the spruce branches to use in her arrangements. I will most definitely be calling Toronto Tree Removal for any future needs and will be recommending them to neighbours, friends and family.

Hurricane Joaquin decided to knock down the tree in our backyard. After making 11 calls to so-called emergency tree removal companies, Aaron was the only one who picked up. And showed up within a few hours to look things over! I can only say good things about Aaron and his team. He's calm, funny and knowledgeable. He gets what it means when a homeowner is scared that their house is going to get crushed, and doesn't tell you he'll be back whenever. He had a team here same day, even though they were servicing trees down all over the city. Which is by the way, another bug plus. He works IN Toronto. So many of these tree companies are based in Oakville or Mississauga and really don't want to do urban work. He does! They took the canopy off the tree that night, in the rain and howling winds, to remove the threat. Then came back the next day to take it off the phone lines at the back. The returned a third day to remove the remaining de-canopied tree trunk. What I like about this, even though it was done in there stages, was he came every day like he said he would and the problem was solved before the weekend was over. Even while he was obviously busy all over the city addressing other emergencies. His crew was also great -- expert in what they did, likeable, acrobatic (amazing to watch this work) and they left the place and our neighbors' properties, spotless. Hire this guy! Even if you don't have an emergency. But check for the Toronto Tree Removal that has his name, Aaron Hill, on it. Apparently another company uses the same name. Aaron Hill of Toronto Tree Removal just left my home after removing 2 weed trees from my backyard. He contacted me right away after I texted him and came out to assess the trees and give me a quote the next day. The trees were removed the following week. Aaron and his helper were quick, courteous and very neat. My property was completely tidied up. I would recommend this company to anyone needing any kind of tree removal. And he has a beautiful dog too!

We had a great experience with Toronto Tree Removal. The owner (Aaron Hill) came out to evaluate our property shortly after contacting him, and was available to do the job a few days later. Aaron sent a team of approx. 6 people out to our home, led by his son. They arrived at the specified time, and got straight to work. The workers were courteous, and efficient. We had 3 large trees (2 Spruce, and one Maple), which needed to be removed, including the stumps. The team did a superb job, under difficult conditions (erosion in the backyard). It took them approximately 4 hours, which included the complete removal and clean up. The cost was reasonable - within the range of other companies, but what set them apart was their quick response and courteous manner. I would highly recommend this company!

We observed that branches on large trees near the house were starting to grow closer and would soon be at risk of rubbing against the house in windy conditions. Called Toronto Tree Removal to request estimate. Aaron came and gave estimate for removal of these branches and for removal of small branches on another smaller tree that were also starting to get close to the house. When Aaron arrived for the estimate we toured the front and back of the house to identify other possible tree problems that might arise in the next year or two. He said that no other work was needed at this time. Before the work began, the crew moved out of the way anything that might be hit by falling branches. Work was done promptly and cleanup was thorough and complete. Everything that had been moved was properly put back in place. We'll hire Toronto Tree Removal again the next time we need tree work. Price was reasonable for the work performed. Aaron came by a day or two later to collect the money (cheque OK) and to ensure that we were satisfied with the work.

Called Aaron for a quote on Canada Day and he came on the holiday. Looked at the tree, which was structurally damaged, and he braced it immediately. His crew of 5 men came 2 days later and worked all day to cut down the tree. They were exceedingly careful with overhead telephone wires and respectful the the neighbour's property. Great care was taken to leave my and neighbours properties clean. His price was reasonable and I couldn't imagine a better job being done. Would highly recommend.

Tree downed by storm was across driveway and on roof and blocking doors and windows of our 2 story coach house Aaron & crew started early a.m. And left after 9p.m. Work was done methodical to prevent more damage to cars and building as tree was situated in an extreme dangerous position. Left me with a beautiful clean property crew was excellent in clearing this huge 100 foot tree 6 feet diameter. So grateful!
