We hired Mr. Mow It All in August 2022 to install Pea Gravel in our small, East York back yard in order to make the space more attractive and easier to care for. As requested, I sent the company photos of the existing yard, explaining by email that I wanted the area of dirt (formerly lawn) covered with gravel. I also sent helpful photos of my neighbour's yard for reference, as they had essentially done the same thing to their space. I heard back from James B., a customer sales representative who asked if I was available to meet him to discuss the job. As I was in another city at the time, I offered to reschedule the suggested meeting time or have someone else meet him in my place. He declined the suggestion, but visited the job site and sent me an estimate which included levelling and removing topsoil, installing landscaping fabric and supplying/installing the pea gravel. I accepted. After being rescheduled twice, the job was completed in mid-September. I was not contacted during the installation or afterward to ensure satisfaction (e.g., sending a photograph). When I returned and saw the work, which itself was adequate and tidy, a large (2-3ft) strip on dirt was left uncovered beside my garage. When I contacted James B., the sales agent, he explained that he was "under the impression" that there was to be a strip left to install a garden. I absolutely hadn't given any such direction; I was disappointed that the job was incomplete. Being polite, I suggested that there had been a misunderstanding and asked what the company could do complete the job. Their offer? A quote of almost $400 to install a yard of mulch to cover the strip! There was many emails back and forth, and when I mentioned the company's 100% satisfaction guarantee, I was told it didn't apply to me. I have read similar statements in other reviews here. The company's position simply doesn't make sense. I had already laid down some mulch beside my garage in order to abut the gravel I was expecting there. Also, if I had wanted a "garden strip" beside my garage I would have asked them to install some rockery to mark off that area as a garden. That's not what I asked for. For the company to have made a mistake like this, and not simply rectified it, is mind-boggling. Instead, they tried to say I "changed the scope of work" after the fact, and sent demeaning emails. Very rude, very unacceptable. Beware.

Great team and helpful with unscheduled work with great response to request by me for shrub trimming

this company gave me a price for mowing the lawn .when they came whatever work they did It wasn't agreed upon . I looked at my account they charged over $140 without asking me instead of around $47 agreed on . They said they did extra work but I didn't ask for that work. And I'm not sure if they did the work which they said they did because I wasn't there when they said they did more cleaning and i didn't see how that they had to do more cleaning. I called the financing department she was very rude to me very uncooperative and refused to help me

Very disappointed with this company. Staff unskilled and uninterested. Had 2 crews plus a supervisor attend my property and work still not completed, I was charged full amount. When I complained was offer 50% refund as good will. Company admitted they did not quote the job properly. When I requested a full refund as per guarantee was told the Guarantee only applies to Lawn mowing, no other services. Company does not honour 100% guarantee as promised. Tried to contact owner and he apparently does not speak with clients. Staff said the website is misleading and should be updated. This company is very misleading. Would not recommend.

Estimate was for 284.00 plus tax.. which was a red flag already, because at the beginning it say 199.00 and the quote states if extra time is required it will cost 85. dollar per man hour with an option to choose it or not.. I did not. on the service day, I was told that they need an extra 2 man hour.. so I guessed 2 man for an hour is an extra 180. so I confirmed with the company that I authorize the 2 man hour extra. A couple of days later, I receive a email notification of my credit card being charged almost 4 times the estimated quote I received. Spoke with the company and they refuse to take responsibility of continuing working beyond the contracted time I have agreed to. I have emails of the request of 2 more man hours and my email.. the original quotes.. etc. I am a senior and have suffered several heart attacks.. so even thought this frustrates me so immensely, I must not try to make it upset me too much to affect my health.

Mow it All provide a very very poor job , never on time as they promise in the contract always late by a day or 2 after the snow fall We had to call & email many many time for them show up It was a mistake to hire Mow It All to plow the snow at our Church We will not recommend them at all

Very professional and very reliable . They did an outstanding job - and responded quickly to a last minute change of plan during a busy period . Very impressed and will definitely use them again.

Every year I hire Mr Mow It All to blow all the leaves in the garden , front and back, and take them all away. Nary a leaf to be seen when they Are done, and I have 2 Butternut trees and an several Chinese Elms and others. I have a 50 ftx200ft lot Highly recommended Robert

The crew at Mr. Mow It All always does an excellent job mowing my lawns in the front and back of the house. They also clean up after. I'm very happy with their work.

Complete replacement of lawn in back yard. All done as quoted on time! Final result is much better than we hoped. We will definitely call again once we are settled into our new home.
