We recommend TileWise and Nick Gochev without reservation. Nick is a tile artisan and a renovation expert. He quotes you a price and a completion schedule that you can rely upon. Nick tiled our ensuite bathroom and the back splash in our kitchen along with all the necessary plumbing and drywalling. TileWise also supplied and supervised the installation of a quality shower door and vanity mirror. Nick helped us select the tiles best suited to each application and played an important role in our choice of accent design. You cannot go wrong with TileWise and Nick Gochev.

Nick and his team did a great job tiling our hallway and kitchen, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again. His quote was reasonable (and accurate), he paid great attention to detail and would always communicate with us to ensure we understood the timelines, where we could walk, and what our options were for those tricky corners. He really wants to do a quality install and actually took up some of the tiles and re-laid new ones where the edges were slightly damaged by us post install without extra charge so that it looked perfect. Despite various challenges with an uneven floor and soundproofing required by the strata, the end result looks great. An added bonus was that he and his team were very tidy and cleaned up all the dust before we got home which was something previous contractors have definitely not done! I’d certainly recommend him and will use him again next time I need tiling done.

I am very pleased with Nick's work in putting up the kitchen glass tile backsplash in my condo. Nick responded to all my emails and questions in a timely and professional manner before I hired him. He was neat, tidy, meticulous and efficient in his work. He kept me inform throughout the install of the backsplash. I would recommend Tilewise to all my friends and family for kitchen/bathroom renovations.

Nick completely gutted out and then renovated our 11 x 5 full bathroom. We are very pleased with his work. He is very knowledgeable and the quality of his work is superior. He made suggestions, as well as listened to our own ideas. His tools were put away at the end of the day and he updated us of the progress of his work and any additional work and costs that were not in his original estimate. Tilewise did a great job renovating our bathrooms in May 2012! Everyone on the team was very efficient, professional and friendly. It took only two weeks for the full renovation of our two bathrooms - new shower, new bathtub, new plumbing, tiling, vanities, drywall and painting - we couldn't believe it! And when we came home every evening you could not tell that there was a renovation underway in the house – that’s how clean and organized the process was. Nick is very resourceful and organized the whole project impeccably. Thank you!!!

Nick and Tilewise were brilliant!!!!!!! The work came in within budget estimate and more importantly within the time estimate. The floors were decrepit and in poor repair. The place hadn't been touched since a cheap reno in 1985. Nick helped choose the tiles and showed samples of work he done that were similar.Nick is a craftsman of the highest order. The place was so clean after he had left you wouldn't know he had been. He was friendly and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. You won't regret having him do your tile work.

Nick and his team from Tilewise.ca were fantastic to deal with. We found them through a reference from a friend and they did not disappoint. Efficient, well priced and a great attention to detail are why we will be having them back to do the tiling in our bathrooms.

Nick is a first class professional.  We undertook an extensive renovation – 4 bathrooms, kitchens, 3 fireplaces, 4 entrance halls all with in-floor heating – all having extensive tile work.  Nick was thorough, thoughtful in his approach, worked well with our designer, offered constructive suggestions and delivered a first class result.  We could not be more please with his work. 

I was impressed by Nick's clear grasp of the scope of the job and attention to detail, skill, and artistic sensibility. He kept a clean and organized job site (a real plus when you live in during your reno). His quoted price was clear and he explained the possible choices at different price points. The job was completed in a timely manner. Nick is a true professional.
