    Professional and Efficient in every respect...

    About a year ago my wife and I were unbearably itchy, but we could not ascertain the cause. We keep a clean house and did not discover any bed bugs after an intense search. We thought that we were in contact with some allergen. It was beyond comprehension that the cause of our plight was a well-fed bedbug, but we took positive steps to ensure that was the case and began the process of identifying a professional. After a lengthy search on the Web we located Muhammad Akram of Pest Solution Services. Muhammad is incredibly knowledgeable about all types of pests encountered in a residential setting. Indeed, he holds a B.Sc degree (Honours) in Entomology and Plant Pathology and has a considerable depth of scientific knowledge which he readily applied when we hired the company to inspect and remediate the situation at home. After hours and hours of challenging work he found a single bedbug lodged in the wood frame of the headboard of our bed. On the theory that there were others that did not reveal themselves, Muhammad carefully dismantled the bed and used steam and chemicals to rid the house of this nuisance. He had deep understanding of what needed to be done and pursued those steps vigorously. By day's end, we were told that everything had been accomplished. However, in a month or two we experienced a resurgence of these pests. So we called Muhammad and he returned to our home with all of his equipment within a day or two. Pest Solutions Services had promised to return again and again, if necessary, as part of their quality control promise to eliminate these pests for good. To date he has returned and expended many hours searching for and eliminating our pests. All at no additional charge, as he had promised. And on these occasions he did not gloss over anything: He wanted to find the root cause of this now intermittent and much diminished insect population. I have encountered a couple of pest control companies for various purposes over the years. None of them showed Muhammad's knowledge, comprehensive planning and energetic work habits. I was thrilled with his service delivery and both shocked and delighted that he instantly honoured his guarantee. I do not hesitate when I say that this company has the qualifications to perform the work they do with excellence. Furthermore, they have great integrity demonstrated plainly that they stand by their word in performing their obligations under the guarantee.

    Inspection / carpet beetles

    Suspecting you have bed bugs? I say, call Muhammad. Do you really want to know how female and male bugs look like, and whether little dust bunnies under your bed contain skin or dropping of one or another type? Can you really estimate degree of infestation? I bet you don't and you can't, but I bet you are a smart person who wants to protect your home, and your family. And your money. So call the professional to find out the truth. I woke up twice with itchy bites all over my arms, and suspected the worse. I just came back from the hotel and saw a bug on a bed there. I thought I must have brought some of them home. The choices I had were to try to fight the battle alone or get a diagnosis first. In the middle of planning the trip to Buffalo for all possible anti-bed-bugs products that are not sold in Canada, I found Muhammad. He came to inspect my house the same day. Everything people write about him here is true - he is honest, he knows his field well, he investigates, he educates, at the end you know exactly what to do. Apparently, researching anti-bed-bugs products was a waste of time as I had carpet beetles. What looked like bites were hives - i was allergic to them. Those critters don't bite. As many people said here, Muhammad won't take advantage of your situation and won't drag you into spending if it is not justified. I appreciate what he's done for me, I appreciate his work ethics, and his patience, and I highly recommend to call him if you are in this kind of trouble.

    Fantastic Service

    Look no further if you want the best of service in dealing with these most stressful pests! Muhammad is an absolute expert in assessing specific conditions and appropriate treatment. As our infestation was relatively small very minimal treatment was recommended and successfully implemented thus saving considerable money and work. His wonderful demeanor puts you at ease immediately! Couldn't recommend more highly.

    Bedbug encounter

    This was my first experience with bedbugs. I had never seen them before, so when I saw small beetle looking bugs I thought it was just because we were having such a wet summer. I was in our century home in the country, where insects are common. A quick check on the Internet showed me what I had and when I flip the mattress I discovered bugs in the mattress and wooden bed frame. We were quoted a high price for chemical fumigation and got to work putting everything into bags. Meanwhile, I got back to the city and discovered I had a few underneath my bed there as well. Mohammed came very quickly when I called and was able to accommodate me and my very tight schedule. He calmed me down and assured me that I did not have a big infestation. He explained that I needed to replace my wooden bed with a metal one to prevent further problems and showed me how to use the diatomaceous earth as a precaution. Lucky for me, I already had my mattress encased. One thing I learned from him was that bedbugs are a situation which need to be managed. He gave me suggestions for how to avoid them in the future and though it was a lot of work for a few days, I feel confident that the situation is dealt with. As for our home in the country, we cancelled the fumigator and instead spend our money on buying good mattress encasements and dealing with the problem ourselves. I found it easier to go to the laundromat to deal with all of the linens and clothing at once using multiple machines and dryers. He has followed up with me since and while it is still early days, I am confident that now I know what to look for. I will never sleep in a foreign bed again without checking for the presence of these horrible insects.

    Great service

    I called today because we'd been concerned about marks on our backs and legs that we woke up with. We were able to get an appointment the same day and were educated about why this was happening and what we can do to prevent it in the future. Service was friendly and very reasonable.

    Bed Bug scare

    For a few weeks I was waking up with bites but wasn't sure what it was. I was stripping my bed one day and came across some tiny bed bugs and panicked. I called a separate company (Pest End) or something like that. They were one of the first to come up and also one of the first to answer the phone. I got someone to come and check out the situation and he was able to find a very visible bed bug. He checked my room and my sisters. He saw the bed bug in my room and immediately said we needed to treat with heat or chemical. He didn't even have a flashlight and was in my house for about 15 minutes and I paid him about $80. I didn't feel comfortable about his solution and also about the price for the overall service and decided to call a few more companies. I googled once again and came across Muhammad. The reviews were really good and thought I would give him a call. He was pleasant over the phone and didn't seem like he wasn't trying to sell a service but more to educate and advise. I called him that day and he came in the evening. He was in my house for about 2 hours. He checked basically the whole house. He was very thorough. Yes I had bed bugs but he really analyzed the situation to decide the best recourse. Either way, he decided that since the bed bugs were only in my room and that it was only at the initial stage; I would be able to take care of it myself. I was obviously hesitant because this whole experience has made me really anxious. I purchased the bed bug coverings for my mattress and box spring, I did a complete deep clean of my room, even ran all my clothes through the dryer on high heat. Its been a couple sleeps and I haven't experienced anything yet, however I am keeping an eye on it. Muhammad is a true professional and I recommend him to anyone. He really knows his job and isn't out to make a quick buck. His service is pricey, however he's a scientist and if I'm going to pay anyone for what they do, it might as well be him. He called for a follow up and remains to be a professional. What he does is great and don't look any further when looking for a bed bug solution.

    Bed bug inspection

    Let’s be honest $280 just for an inspection. He seemed legit but did not use all this fancy equipment other reviewers were mentioning. He was at the house for about 30 mins and inspected our master bedroom where we were getting bitten. Aside from this room he only recommended to see our couch in our living room and that is it. No other inspections were done elsewhere. He recommended we only get the master bedroom treated and quoted us at $1800 for just this one room. I feel he is taking advantage of people who are emotional and distressed over their infestation. Other providers we have approached have not been even close to being as expensive.

However, I feel that I should clear this up and I ask you to contact me for anything that you would like to discuss. Your bed bug problem needs to be addressed and I am willing to do just that. Firstly, I would like to start by addressing the fact that you have mentioned that I only inspected your master bedroom and couch in living room, however, I had inspected two bedrooms, one of which was your master bedroom. Not only that, along with the couch in the living room, I also inspected the living room in the basement. Secondly, as far as the equipment goes, that is used only when the situation becomes problematic/difficult. This inspection was not a hassle. The source of the bed bug problem was found at the first attempt, which was in your master bedroom. There was no evidence in the second room that was inspected, nor in any of the living rooms. The inspection takes as much time is needed until source and sufficient evidence is found, inspection times range from situation to situation. I could have taken hours, but according to experience, knowledge, and the fact that the source of the bed bugs was found, I concluded the inspection at this point. Thirdly, the inspection was $280. I make this clear to all my clients, and if you choose to go ahead with the treatment, the inspection cost is not charged. It's credited back to you. Fourthly, you have not told the whole story as far as the treatment quote goes. I gave you multiple options. This is very unfair, you've only mentioned one. Yes, I did quote $1800 for the treatment, however, this was just one option (and the expensive option) from the others that I suggested. Multiple options for treatment were presented to you. I had made it very clear that this option was the expensive one, it was the detailed and extremely thorough one, and it required the most work, the price was justified. I tried to have you consider the other options, I didn't want to get involved with the 1800 treatment option, I knew it was expensive, but also justified. If you didn't like the price, you could have chose the other options. They are just as effective, it is just another method of treatment. Clients in the past have taken those routes, and you can see, through the reviews, that it was perfectly fine. Although those treatments cost less, they are effective, it's another method of achieving the same results. Lastly, other service providers provide their own services. They treat and inspect with their own approach. I do my best to teach my clients about the difference between Pest Solution Services and the other companies. My program is detailed and thorough. The other reviews show you what I mean. Once again, I am sorry that you feel this way about the services, if there's is anything you would like to talk about, please do not hesitate to contact.

    Bed Bug Inspection

    Fear, misinformation and being taken advantage of is quite the norm of this game. They don;t give you the price up front and they are not aware and knowledgeable only want to take your money was what I found in my initial calls and research. Along come Muhammad....knowledgeable, kind, patience, CSI approach, know your habits, know where to look and then make his recommendations. Biggest mistake of your life if you don;t hire him. Check his reviews. The clients speak for itself. if you don;t call him for your BedBug solutions, you would be sadly missing out.

    Pest Solutions

    This is my second review for this company. About a year ago we were dealing with bed bugs. In a nutshell, it was horrible. Now, as we approach the one year mark, Muhammud continues to be a support whenever anxieties, question or concerns arise. I would highly recommend his services as he fully understands the emotional piece of having bed bugs as well as being a knowledgeable entomologist.

    Bed Bugs are Disgusting but Muhammad has Your Back

    By the time we met Muhammad, we had already attempted to remove our small bedbug infestation three times. The first two involved a company who used poison sprays and “bombs” leaving chemicals on every surface and every single item in our home. It took weeks to clean it all up. The third attempt was my son’s who, after much research, decided on a somewhat less toxic approach using products from home depot. But, a few months later, I had bites on my arm and I was frantic. Again, I went to Homestars.com but this time I continued my search until I found someone with spectacular reviews as well as a non-poisonous approach and found Muhammad’s Pest Solution Services. Although costly, after what we’d already been through, we decided it was worth it. Many reviews already describe how outstandingly knowledgeable Muhammad is. But, equally impressive is how honest he is. Anyone with a grain of sense could see that we were convinced that we still had bedbugs, and that we were desperate. But rather than take advantage, Muhammad carefully inspected our house and his diagnosis was that we had gotten rid of the bugs! What we thought were bedbug bites were something else. About 5 weeks later, my son’s girlfriend had a few bites and again, we concluded that they were from bedbugs. My son took photos and we called Muhammad. He came by and checked the house again. Diagnosis – carpet beetles. (No charge) We just needed to vacuum everyday for a week. A few days later I remembered that I’d seen a few tiny holes in some of my t-shirts and figured they were moths. I photographed them, sent the photos by text to Muhammad who agreed. And rather than send me off to get moth balls, he came by a third time to give me a less offensive type of cure. (Again, no charge.) Bedbugs are disgusting and having them is a bigger deal that I ever imagined. Along with Muhammad’s knowledge and honesty, he understands how upsetting the problem is and handles it with sensitively. As others have mentioned, his plain white immaculate truck does not advertise to the neighbors that you have bugs and he is always respectful of your feelings and your property. If you are hunting for a solution to bedbugs, don’t waste your time and money on any of these places that fill your home with poison. We recommend Muhammad without reservation and would hire him again in a heartbeat.
