We were unfortunate to have the experience of dealing with Bed Bugs. We believe we got these pests from our kid’s daycare. Also the problem got complicated as originally we were not aware of what bed bugs really were and what the infestation meant. So we tried to deal with the situation ourselves but to no avail. Then we hired a reputable company in Toronto. They very strongly recommended the heat procedure promising everything under the sky with the sweet talk of our troubles being over now that they are here. They came did the heat process and within 24 hours we saw the first adult BB. So we captured any put it in the zip lock bag and called the company. These guys mentioned that the person who is going to come and have a look at our issue is on vacation and will be back in 2 weeks. However they reminded us to make sure we have the proof. At this point they also mentioned that even with the proof they are not going to perform another heat treatment but this time it will be chemical treatment. So over the course of the next 2 week we caught 5 BB. At that point we got so frustrated that we decided to get another opinion. So by chance we got hold of Muhammed and he came to look at our problem within 2 hours of our call. He looked at our problem in detail. During this first visit Muhammed spent more than an hour going through our house, understanding the issue and providing some tips. So during this time we decided to hire his services as he seemed very knowledgeable and experienced with the BB infestation controls. Muhammed is expensive no doubt but he spent 4 days in our house going through each and every article, books, tables, chairs, bed frames, drawers, dresser to make sure he got rid of the issue. He also made sure to steam and clean the hardwood area as well as vacuum all the carpets to make sure he got all the eggs as well. This was about 3 months ago and since then we have not seen any issue. There were couple of scares where we got some bugs put them in the zip lock bags and showed them to Muhammed but they turned out to be false alarms. Muhammed was very helpful during the whole process as well as afterwards. He has tried to build our confidence at each and every step of the way and we appreciate all the help that he has provided during this ordeal.

I had been seeing doctors and dermatologists for months because of the itchy welts I was getting on a semi-regular basis. (They couldn't confirm if they were bug bites). I didn't think we had bed bugs, because my husband was not getting any visible bites, and we had researched them online and torn apart our bedroom/bed and couldn't find any evidence ourselves. What I really appreciate about Muhammad is that he comes at the problem with a lot of scientific knowledge, he is an incredibly hard worker, he made sure all my questions were answered. I also appreciated that he didn't automatically suggest treating the whole condo; after a thorough inspection he felt confident that it wasn't necessary to treat any other rooms, so didn't make me spend extra money. He is conscientious about following up and guarantees his work. He is the only company I contacted but I chose him based on all the glowing homestars reviews and honestly, he is everything that the reviews promised he would be. I'm finally sleeping well again!

Before we hired Mohammad, we tried another company that cost a fortune and failed miserably. With Mohammad I felt confident as soon as his assessed the situation and made his recommendation. He treated the problem and though he had to come back a few times, it seems we have gotten rid of those darned bed bugs. I had been getting random bites for a few months and we put it down to stress but late on Thursday evening we found a dreaded bed bug... Of course I went into instant panic and really freaked myself out! We called our landlord the next day and she got in contact with Muhammad who came that very evening to investigate. Of course immediately he found all the signs which we hadn't even noticed or had any idea even existed. He told us what we had to do before he could start the treatment. I really appreciated the customer service, I called on a Friday evening and had my inspection booked for Sunday where as the other company that was reccommended by my building had not even called until Monday. I'm so glad I went with PSS becuse I feel like I did it right the first time. Muhammed was so thorough and I'm certain is quite a perfectionist which is thoroughly appreciated in this situation. It wasn't even the biggest hassle because it was all taken care of for me and not the biggest headache. I now rest assured and sleep easily with 0 bites.

Imagine my shock and terror to find out we had bed bugs in our home, that we have lived in for over 25 years without problem. It was seriously terrifying. For the second time in the last 2 years we started getting bug bites and found a single bed bug (confirmed by PSS) in our home. In both cases we contacted PSS to come and help us out. The first thing they did a thorough inspection to determine the extent of our problem. In our case there was no further evidence of any bugs so they recommended some basic traps in an attempt to monitor the situation. They also recommended other things we could to do help ensure the problem was resolved. PSS was very good about explaining everything that they were doing, why they were doing it, etc. Really happy with their service and will call them again at the first sign of any issues.
