Muhammad was quick to respond to our calls and our infestation, focusing his energies on where the problems were, and not charging us to treat areas that didn't need to be like other companies had recommended. You will know right away that Mr. Akram has a HUGE passion for his career, you will see this whenever you communicate with him. Ever heard of the dog whisperer? Mr. Akram is the BED BUG whisperer!!!!. He truly knows where to look (he looks everywhere… from door stoppers to electrical outlets. He knows how they think and he’s able to provide you with extensive knowledge on how to prevent an infestation again. His primary treatment method is steam. Would you rather have someone that comes into your home, and only spend two hours to fill it with chemicals and leave without any follow-up’s? Or someone that takes their time and treats the issues AT THE SOURCE? Mr Akrim spent over 12 hours fully treating my 610 sq ft unit. He knew exactly where to look and attacked the source of the issue with heat (something chemicals can’t do). His steaming methods were able to kill ALL eggs and living bed bugs. He also CONTACTS YOU frequently for updates. The amount of technology that he has at his disposal is unbelievable… *Aside from his specialty steam unit, he uses special bed bug detectors (ordered from Europe) to verify his work (he doesn’t just grab your money and leave) *He also can save your personal valuables, he was able to save my ice skating skates, rollerblades (both fully infested) and my $4000 mattress…. He also has specialty mattress encasements for a very reasonable price. *He has a heating unit at his disposal that’s able to reach VERY HIGH temps.. any objects placed in this unit will be treated. *He used special dry chemicals for hard to reach places (inside my couch and dining room sets). Please do yourself a favour and contact Mr. Akram if you have an infestation. DO NOT opt out for cheap companies that only come into your home and fill it up with chemicals… THEY SIMPLY DON’T WORK!!! You will end up paying more in the long run. Don’t be discouraged if the quote is too high, be smart and think about your family’s health and the future.

Muhammad came to check for bed bugs. He did not find any. He checked the bed but it was hard to lift the bed board so we could not check there. He showed me the attractant traps and I wish I had bought some to see if any bedbugs were present. I still wonder. He is very prompt and informative.

After stressing over some insect bites which I feared could be the result of bed bugs, I began searching for a service. I was so fortunate to happen upon Muhammad Akram of PSS who presented as a very professional, honest and knowledgeable man. After all, he has an honours B.Sc. in Entomology/Pathology and indeed reflects this expertise. After patiently discussing with me on the telephone, he gave me an appointment and arrived promptly. As he performed his inspection, he explained every step in great detail and kindly guided me through the process allaying my fears. I was so delighted when he assured me that there were absolutely no bed bugs but only carpet beetles which could be remedied with some vacuuming. This gem of a man is so honest-He could have sold me an expensive treatment but he derives more pleasure seeing a happy customer than seeking monetary gain. I was awestruck at the numerous photos of insects on his I phone and enjoyed his little lectures which reflect not only his knowledge but true dedication to his work. As I frequently travel, I decided to invest in the mattress encasements that Muhammad took extra time to meticulously install. After leaving my home, Muhammad went to inspect my mother's home where once again there was a happy ending and my mother has not stopped singing the praises about this wonderful man. I would not hesitate to call upon Muhammad again should the need arise and I highly recommend him to anyone requiring the service of this honest, professional gentleman.

I had called two companies who between them spent 90 minutes on the bed bug problem in my home. A complete waste of $800!! I Called Muhammad Akram from Pest Solution Services/Bed Bug 101 Canada. His inspection was extremely thorough(over 3 hours). It was immediately apparent that Muhammad is an expert. He knew exactly where to look, and explained every step of his thinking, AND a bed bug's thinking to me. Explaining that when the other companies sprayed, the bed bugs just ran and hid where there was no spray! Muhammad spent 7 hours administering his treatment. He turned my sectional sofa upside down and showed me the discarded exoskeletons, and a few nymph bed bugs that had hatched after the last spray. He completely dismantled our bunk bed, removing every screw and checking the screw holes with a flashlight. He showed me the sides of the bunk bed slats, which he unscrewed from the frame. There were probably 200 eggs on the sides of the slats, that I didn't even see until Muhammad told me what I was looking at!! He removed the electrical outlet plates, the cable plates, the vent covers and even the door stopper! He used a steam cleaner set at 200 degrees (I read that 180 degrees kills them) that he had modified to produce the best results. He sold me top of the line bed bug mattress covers at a very reasonable price. As well as bed bug detectors for all of the rooms. HE texted ME 2 weeks later (I did not have to chase after him) and booked a follow up appointment. The follow up appointment was about 90 minutes long. We didn't find a trace! It has been 4 weeks since that follow up appointment and I am STILL bed bug free. Life is starting to return to normal. Here is my "end of the day"/ "bottom line".... Muhammad Akram is a true professional. He costs more. MY BED BUG PROBLEM IS GONE.

This was the 2nd time we had been plagued with bed bugs and trying to do it ourselves was a complete waste of time. We called Mohammed and sent him photos of the evidence we'd seen and he confirmed and came out within hours to make a plan. He provided us with "traps" to verify that everything was clean and after a number of weeks we have seen no evidence. Mission Accomplished!!! Mohammed is very competent and knowledgeable. Bed Bugs are "his passion" and his one and only specialty and it shows. I would not hesitate to hire him again and would certainly recommend him to anyone who is plagued by these pesky annoyances.
