    Income Property Renovation

    Mark was responsive and helpful from start to finish. The work was done to a high standard, as planned and carried out by a team of competent, courteous and cheerful individuals. I recommend Phoenix Contracting without any hesitation.

    General renovations. Drywall, Electrical, painting, plumbing, insulation.

    Updated two bedrooms. New ceilings, lighting (pot lights, fans)crown moulding, painting. Updated dining room. New ceilings, lighting, crown moulding Hardwood flooring upstairs. Had to make some modifications during the renovations and Mark was adaptable and kept cost to minimal. His trades were very professional and delivered on time even during these Covid concerns. We are very pleased with the workmanship and are enjoying our renovations. Greg & Anne Stoney Creek

    Two bathroom renovations back to back.

    I contacted Mark of Phoenix contracting based on the recommendations of some friends who had work done. It was the best decision I have made. I have an en-suite and a guest bathroom that were firmly entrenched in the 1970’s and Mark walked me through the plan, told me the best places to get plumbing and tiles (to get a contractor discount) and basically did the rest! I was consulted at every step, the tradespeople brought in were on time and excellent and every day the work area was really clean. The schedule, even in these uncertain times was spot on and there were no delays at all, mostly due to Mark running a very tight ship. You can see he takes his work very seriously and has pride in the finished product. I can’t thank Mark and Ryan enough for the excellent job they did, on time and on budget.

    Highly recommended!

    My husband and I were referred to Mark by our real estate agent when we bought our new house. The house was very liveable when we moved in, but we wanted a few things done to make it "our own". We have worked with Mark on two projects so far, and look forward to working with him on more. The first project Mark facilitated for us was enclosing our stairs from the main floor to the second floor, as well as the stairs down to the basement. (The previous owners had removed the bannisters from both sets of stairs, to make the house look more open.) We wanted to maintain an "open" look, and therefore we opted for glass for both sets of stairs. Mark hired Todd from Continental Mirror and Glass, who did a fantastic job. He made great recommendations about the design, and we are thrilled with the end result. The second project we did with Mark was installing pot lights in our living/dining room area. (The room previously had only one lighting fixture at one end.) My husband and I were in and out of the house over the time when the work was being done, and got the chance to meet some of the guys that Mark works with. We found all of them to be very nice and take great pride in our work, and we felt 100% comfortable with them having the code to our lock box. Mark made some great recommendations, for example he had the lights set up on two separate switches so we could either dine in bright or dimmed light with the TV area lights dimmed or off, or vice versa. We couldn't have imagined using this room as much as we do before this job was started! In both cases, there were no surprises with respect to the final cost of the job. Tomorrow we will be starting another project with Mark, and are thrilled to be working with him once again. Highly recommended as a contractor in the area.

    Bathroom Addition

    Recently my wife and I had wanted to put a third bathroom in our home. Marc and his team at Phoenix Contracting were fantastic and helped us through the entire process. Always on time, constant communication and going above and beyond as a contractor. We always felt so comfortable with him in our home, which can be nerve racking. We would use them again in a heart beat. Marc and his team are such professionals and we HIGHLY recommend them for their work, and exceptional commitment to customer service. Thank you!     Ensuite bathroom reno

    Our ensuite bathroom needed work,and after several contractors and several offers,we met Mark.Our concerns and questions were addressed,Mark presented us with an estimate that was clear,concise and detailed.As work commenced,all of Mark's crew were punctual,pleasant,and dependable,never to busy to answer any question or concern to our satisfaction.Work was completed in the estimated time frame,and the result is stunning,We're very happy with our new bathroom! Wouldn't hesitate to use Phoenix contracting again,thanks guys!...Doug in Brampton

    Full Bathroom Renovation

    Mark was great to work with from start to end on this project. We had a lot of options to go through when updating a large bathroom in our house and Mark gave us his ideas and insight every step of the way. He is very thorough and detailed in explaining all aspects of the work to be done so we are aware of what is going into the finished product. He didn't hesitate to make some changes along the way to maximize the use of our space. With the bathroom situated above the garage he installed a lot of moisture resistant membranes/drywall etc. His attention to detail can be seen in many of the finishing touches. When there was an issue with a vanity we ordered which had to be sent back, he went out of his way to take it back to the store until it was amended and then brought it back to the house again. Even once the project was done, he has been available to answer any questions we had.

    Ensuite renovation

    We have been very pleased with all the work Mark and crew have done. There was also work done in our downstairs bathroom, main floor powder room and main bathroom. The time estimate was completed in less days than projected. Thanks for all the help and patience working with us.

    Full home reno

    Mark and his team just completed our home renovation this summer, what a tremendous crew this was working in our home; and we are over the moon excited and proud to share our home with friends and family now that everything is done. Mark takes a lot of pride in doing things the right way and not cutting corners. Every single day, Mark was on time (actually a little early lol) and laid out his plan for the upcoming day with us, we we're never in the dark on a single thing and Mark was always available for inquiries and questions (Many whats app chats and video discussions). The project came in on budget as quoted and even finished a few days early. The finishes on all the new floors, drywall, ceilings, bathrooms, kitchen are spot on, and the new set of stairs are even better then we had envisioned. His sub-trades (plumbers, electricians, etc...) we're always professional and keep the site very clean which is a big indicator of quality of work and something that the city inspectors like to see as well. I would highly recommend Mark for your next project and plan on having him back myself in a few years to fully renovate the basement as well.

    Basement Renovation

    We hired Mark to do a complete basement renovation and we are very happy with the way it turned out. Mark stressed from the beginning that communication was the key to ensuring everyone is happy and that there would be no surprises and that is what we did every morning over a cup of coffee. He took an unfinished basement and in 6 weeks we had a beautiful basement, with a complete bathroom as well. Would hire Mark again in a flash, wonderful guy easy to talk to and is truly concerned about your needs.
