Krys is simply the best. He and his team are a group of detail oriented individuals who from start to finish inspire confidence. Our basement looks fantastic and Krys was always available to help with any questions or problems that arose. I have been recommending him to all my friends and family! We had Krys finish our basement last summer. We could not be happier! He was professional and on budget. From the framing to the finishing, everything was top quality. In the end, the space is amazing and even nicer than we had imagined. Infact, he hasn't left our street!! He is on house number 4 or 5 now!

They say your house is the biggest investment you’ll ever make in your lifetime, which is true but it’s more than that it’s your home. A home is where you raise your children, create memories and is a sanctuary from the chaos of the outside world. That is why when it came to improving our home we took our time and did a lot of research and interviewed with contractors before deciding to entrust our home with Krys from Krys Construction. Recently we hired Krys to complete our basement to add to our living space and we could not have been happier with the decision and results. Krys came highly recommended by a friend in our neighbourhood. We had him renovate our entire unfinished basement right through to fully finished! Everything we were expecting from the feedback and results of our friends renovation were just as we'd hoped. We had several quotes done, and you could tell from the first conversation with Krys that he was here to help make sure we were completely satisfied with the quality of work, ease of process, and efficient scheduling. Price wise the quote was not the least expensive, but comfortable enough for the quality of workmanship and attention to detail his team brought. Every crew Krys brought in was specialized for the specific job (Framing, Insulators, Plumbing, Flooring, Electrical, Drywall, Painting etc.). Krys came through to inspect after each team, and made sure any questions or changes we wanted were addressed quickly and correctly. This is how you ensure a quality finished result - you use the professionals for each discipline. Krys was very organized, friendly, responds quick to any questions or clarifications and was always checking in on our status - are we happy with everything, any problems? His schedule is efficient, on time, crews were clean, polite, and they worked 6 days a week to get through the entire job within 4 weeks start to finish! We've been enjoying our new home theater and kids playroom now for a couple months and would use Krys again in the future. Highly recommend for honest, professional, high quality, and efficient renovation work.

It is with great pleasure that I write this review for Krys who is an absolutely amazing, friendly, positive, honest and confident person. We made the best decision to hire him for our basement renovation and totally love the new space we have. Thanks to Krys and his expert crew we got what we were planning to renovate. Krys understood our project and even gave recommendations that helped us achieve excellent results. He provided us a scheduled and everything was completed within the timeframe or I would say even earlier. He made sure we were satisfied and checked on each stage of the project. Previously we had hired a contractor to complete a basement renovation including a 2-piece bathroom (which needed to be moved), our master bathroom, and refinishing our staircases replacing the railings with glass. After 5 months only the master bath was completed and unfortunately required another complete renovation because of the poor workmanship. We were obviously nervous to start again with this project. We met with five contractors, receiving quotes from all ensuring that we did our due diligence. On meeting with Krys (the last), I immediately liked him and knew that I could work with him for our project. On receiving his quote, it was competitive with the others. He asked for no money up front and laid out a detailed payment schedule on the completion of each step. He also provided a detailed schedule of the project stating that it would be complete in six weeks. I remained skeptical of the quote and the timeline. Throughout the project we had regular communication with Krys, and if we needed to reach him, we always could, regardless of the time of day, weekends also. There were a few unexpected and unpredictable issues that arose, all of which Krys provided several options ranging in price to complete. Krys and the sub-contractors who he works with are all very professional and likeable. On many occasions they worked very long days, including weekends to stay on track. They respected our home, our dogs, and us. At the end of six weeks, Krys and his team had completed the entire project, even with the added issues that had occurred. Excluding these costs (minimal) the renovation costs remained the same as originally quoted. The renovation is beautiful and meticulously completed. We could not be happier and have not one complaint. In an unlikely turn of events it seems that our previous bad luck lead us to the renovation of our dreams. We would not hesitate to recommend Krys Construction for your project. Thank you Krys!

Krys did the framing of our basement. He did a fantastic job and he is very flexible. We postponed the date of the job because we applied for the permit and we did a few changes from the original layout. He was always listening to us and did everything to accommodate our requests. Even though he did only the framing, he gives us some good advices to help us with the project. The framing was very well done and everybody who comes to work or visit the basement praises us for the quality of the framing. I highly recommend Krys and his crews to anyone who needs to finish the basement in the best way possible.
