Krys did an awesome job renovating our basement. We were really impressed with his organization, right from the start. We got a detailed schedule outlining what work would be done and on what day. It was followed almost exactly to the day. There were clear guidelines when finishes needed to be chose by, and we got a few small discounts at the stores he is partnered with. Krys recommended dricore subfloor the basement as well as replacing old insulation. We liked that he made sure the job was done right, down to those important details that matter in a basement. We were very happy with our stair case, it looks great. Krys is a pleasure to work with. Very responsive and quick to respond, and always smiling & happy. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a basement reno!

I highly recommend Krys Construction. The whole process was very smooth from start to finish. His trades were all efficient and respectful and all showed up and completed everything on time. Krys and his team did an incredible job remodeling our main floor, powder room, basement, laundry room and building a wine cellar in a cold storage room. The work was meticulous and no details were missed, we'll be using them for any future projects!

Krys Construction came through for us just as we had hoped. Krys and his secretary Paulina were an absolute pleasure to deal with, but it was the work ethic of the entire team that impressed us the most. This is a team that took the time to explain all the work in detail, give us an upfront cost (a firm cost, not an estimate that fluctuated as the project went on), and a timeline which they maintained throughout the project. The workers were not concerned with billable hours or the cost of a few extra nails here and there—rather, they focused on getting the job done, doing the job well, and taking great pride in the quality of the overall project. During our six-week renovation we always felt comfortable with the good people coming in and out of our house, never felt as if anyone was “slacking off,” and are incredibly happy with the results. We highly recommend Krys Construction to anyone in the Halton area looking to get some work done. In our opinion, this is a company with an incredible work ethic that seems to be a lost art these days. In an industry where it can be hard to find quality, we’re so happy that we came across Krys and his team.

After a long search for contractors to give us the basement we've been looking for we found Krys Construction and could not be happier with the finished product. From start to finish Krys was there to help using skilled and professional sub trades. Our basement renovation went extremely well and smooth with Krys and his team. The reno began on November 11, 2019 and it was concluded on time (just before Christmas) as set out by the schedule that we received. Every day there was someone at our house working on the basement. Krys and his team were efficient, knowledgeable and polite. If we had a question or concern, it would be taken care of quickly. It was very stress free, we felt very confident with his work. Our basement turned out exactly as we wanted and we love it! Krys was great at answering our questions before we hired him to do our basement. We even went to see a basement that Krys was working on, and we spoke to the owner of the home (who was also very satisfied). I would definitely recommend Krys and his team to anyone looking to do home renovations.

We hired Krys after firing another contractor on the first day they were to begin our basement reno and we are glad we did. From the start Krys listened to what our vision for the space was and outlined a professional schedule of work. Any questions or minor concerns we had during the project were immediately addressed and Krys always took the time to explain his team's process - he was always concerned about doing the work properly and to current code while ensuring we were happy. All his trades' people were pleasant to deal with, did quality work and we trusted opening our home to his team when we were not there. Krys is truly one of those rare contractors that is honest, transparent, trustworthy and actually cares to deliver on a quality job for his clients. We would not hesitate to recommend him to any homeowner or hire him for another project.

We used Krys to finish our basement and could not be happier with the end product. Krys and his team are professional and awesome to work with. The quality of work is superior, you can tell they take pride in the work they do. Having worked with other contractors, it was surprising and so much appreciated that Krys not only stuck to the budget but finished in the exact time frame provided.
