Deb has painted for my parents and other family so when it was time to by my first place, I emailed Deb and we went to planning on picking a colour. Deb sent me a lot of greys to choose from and helped me narrow done my choices. I wanted a gray but didn't realise there were so many and it was so technical with lighting. I ended up picking Coventry grey which didn't have any purple in it, something I didn't want for my bachelor pad. I would recommend Deb for any painting you need done. She totally knows what shes doing.

We cannot say enough good things about Deb. The most important of which, is the fabulous work she did. She painted our home from top to bottom and showed the same attention to detail from day one, right through to the end of the project. She pays such attention to details and goes the extra mile when needed. Not because she has to, but because she has such pride in her work. I cannot image we would have received any better quality of work from any of the other 4 quotes we received. Her work was superb. From the beginning she was a professional. She showed up on time to do the initial estimate. She worked with us on the hours she would be in the house, to accommodate our schedule. I work from home, and she was extremely conscious of this as she worked around my office and we worked together to find the most appropriate time for her to be in my office space. She was also very tidy throughout the project. We had to be out of town for the last 3 days of the project, but had zero hesitation in providing Deb a key and giving her full access to our home. I will recommend Deb to anyone I know painting their house.

I had purchased my condo last year and finally got around to doing some much needed renovations which included painting and replacing laminate floors with vinyl planks. After meeting with Deb, she advised that I should get any flooring done before I painted. I was concerned with paint getting on the new floor! but Deb explained that the baseboarding needed to come off and be lowered and to get it off the flooring company would have to cut them off which would require painting and patching! I was advised that getting the flooring done first would mean that the baseboarding could be fixed and painted at the same time the real painting was done which would save me the cost of getting a painter to come back and fix them if I got the painting done first. I was still concerned about paint on my new floors, but Deb sent me some pictures of other work to set my mind at ease. Fast forward six weeks and the vinyl was installed and the baseboarding wheres a mess. Some were broken and the tops were all cracked and holes not filled in! Deb came two days after they were done and not only fixed the baseboarding so they looked like new but she did a great job of painting my condo. I am very pleased with Deb's services - her communication, price and quality are highly recommended.

Everything about Deb was fantastic. She was prompt, straightforward, communicative, clear, and hard-working. More importantly, the house now looks fantastic! Her attention to detail far exceeds any other painter (or contractor, really) that we've hired. We hired her based on the homestars reviews, which seemed to good to be true. With the job now finished, we can say that they were entirely accurate. Deb is amazing.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting for the painting in my house to complete so that I could write this review for Deb B of WallNuts Painting. The entire experience with WallNuts has been nothing but exemplary! In fact, if Homestars had bonus stars, Deb would certainly earn them from me as her service was 10 ++! From the first moment that I did an online quotation, through to the follow up after the renovation had been completed, Deb has been a true, dedicated, professional who showed only the highest of integrity. I read several reviews on Homestars for Painting companies and contractors before I contacted Deb. Other leading companies also came in to do a quote. However, no company could surpass the attention to detail, flexibility and price reasonability that Deb offered. The online quotation process as well as the site based quotation, was an easy process. The online quotation tool was very accurate and closely matched the quotation that Deb delivered on site. Before the renovation began, Deb contacted me a week prior to ask me what time I wanted her on site! (I’ve never had a contractor ask ME what time was convenient for me, and work around my schedule). Before she began the painting she reconfirmed what she quoted and asked if I wanted to add anything to the quote, which I did and she was able to quote a reasonable price on the spot. The painting quality itself is phenomenal! To think that a sole person could do SUCH an outstanding job all by herself is beyond comprehension. I’ve even had friends who’ve hired the larger companies for painting tell me that she’s done such a thorough job that even the tiniest of details were looked after -to which they haven’t experienced in their interactions with other painters. There were several areas in my house that needed additional handy work, to which Deb attended to as she painted at a very minimal cost. Some areas of my house were not included on the quote, and because Deb felt that those areas SHOULD be painted because they took away from the overall look and feel, Deb told me she was going ahead and painting those areas and would not charge me. As a contractor whose priority really should be increasing the wealth in her pocket, Deb has been nothing but compassionate and a true gem. To top it off, my elderly parents who live with me were often in the house. Deb would consistently ask about their wellbeing, let me know if something looked off with their health, and truly exhibit such care towards them. My parents absolutely miss having her around, it almost felt like Deb was family! Honestly, I had a contractor come in to give me an estimate on blinds, and I couldn’t decide on a blind type or color, and so I asked Deb, and she helped! That’s how fantastic she is! Above and beyond! When the painting was complete, Deb went out of her way to help move our furniture back into the appropriate spaces, and also offered to come back an additional day to help should we need it! Completely not something I would have ever asked her to do! There was a small issue that came up in which Deb accidently did damaged to an area from the renovation prior. She showed integrity in this situation, and contacted me right away to let me know what happened, and even tried to contact the previous contractor to see if they could help fix the damage. Deb has offered to pay for the damage. Deb offers a touch up service of up to 3 visits after each painting job. I didn’t have to ask Deb to come back and touch up. A few days after the renovation Deb called me herself and arranged to come by to do a walk through and necessary touch ups. It is impossible, to find companies and contractors in this day and age who actually go the extra mile and are truly crafted and skilled. I am absolutely thrilled with the service I have received from Walnuts, and I look forward to contracting her again in the very near future for another property.

Our realtor recommended Deb to paint our new home. She did a great job and in comparison to the other quotes we received was very reasonable. Anytime we stopped by, Deb took the time to make sure she answered any questions we had and accommodated us with getting our Internet and alarm installed. Deb certainly went above and beyond and provided one of the best experiences we have had with a service contactor.

There are no words to describe the quality and quantity of work that Deb does! We were doing a quick Reno of our Condo to rent out. Couldn't much care about the colour as we weren't living there. Deb helped us pick some nice neutral colours, some rooms we had some dark colours and she recommended paint that would cover it easily, other rooms that were light colours she recommended a paint of less quality, savings us money! The last hour that she was paid for, my wife and I were doing some finale clean ups and she stayed half a day to help us out which partially included painting some doors and inside cabinets that were badly marked. She made my job of managing my crews of contractors that was working for me at the condo and my new home...meeting deadlines when other contractor were not. I have hired a lot of painters over the years ...from student quality to high priced professionals. I hired Deb because I needed only a low to medium quality paint job for a place I was going to rent, which was reflected in her quote, however to my surprise I got the quality that I would have got from a high priced professional that I had painting at my new house!

I hired Deb to paint the second story and stairwell of my "new-to-me" home. I am extremely satisfied with her work - it looks fantastic! - and I would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and family. Deb was always on time, the work was completed within the time frame agreed to, she was a pleasure to have in my home and I was very happy with the cost. My home was left spic & span when she was done. In addition, Deb was fantastic with both of my dogs which I greatly appreciated. No doubt they are missing her morning pets. I'd rate her hirer then 10 if I could.
