    our move - kelowna to port union

    I’m not in the habit of taking the time to write on-line reviews about a company unless the experience was particularly good or painfully bad. Our experience with Royal Van Lines was fortunately was particularly good. These guys knew what they were doing and did it well. They treated all my items (and me) with respect and care, nothing broke, they wrapped all my furniture, asked me where I wanted stuff placed, and made the move fun. They were an eclectic team of 3 that worked well together with a great vibe and positive attitude for such grueling work. The cost was over what was estimated on the phone and it seemed to take longer than expected, but what it was worth it. Royal is definitely my mover of choice. Highly recommended.

    National Move

    A few issues arose but overall they dealt with the situation in a timely matter and was very happy with the results, Thank you royal van lines for your cooperation and service.

    Day Family Move to Regina

    We just wanted to thank Royal Van Lines for all their help. We just received our family's belongins and it couldn't have gone smoother. With all your help through our move you made sure that we didn't worry about anything. It's been a pleasure to deal with them and we would certainly recommend Royal Van Lines to many.     Moved 2 bedroom apartment.

    Very good service. They have come up with settlement due to late delivery. I'm very much satisfied with their services. No issues pending. All gone well. Hope to use their service again during my next move.

    Long Distance relocation

    Just wanted to say thanks for a smooth moving experience. We have not finished unpacking yet but it appears that outside a vase everything is ship shape. The people that loadded us in Edmonton were very polite and very professional. They did a very nice job and I was very pleased. The guys that came to unload (i think gary and his helper) were once again very professional, took care in unloading ourhousehold goods. We want to thank you and Royal Van lines team for all help and in answering all my questions even though I might have asked a few questions over and over again. We would highly recommend Royal Van lines to our friends.

    Moving Company

    This company was the absolute worst and I would like to warn people to stay away from them. In Mid-February of 2012, I contacted them for a quote for a move from Ontario to Vancouver, BC. Their price was great and when I asked what the delivery time frame would be and was told "delivery is 7-10 days from the date of your departure." Great - we had our stuff picked up on March 31st with the expectation that we would take delivery between April 7-10. On the invoice, the movers provided, we saw that they had marked all of our items as "scratched", "rusted", "marked", and "at owner's risk". Unfortunately this was all in code on the invoice and the movers did not explain any of this to my husband or I, and we signed the contract as it was. I contacted our sales rep multiple times over the next few days and she chose not to respond. On April 9, we finally got a hold of the sales rep (1 day after the truck was to arrive). She said that the truck had just left Ontario THAT DAY and that we would take delivery between April 16-18. On April 16, we called again as we hadn't been told a delivery time frame. We were once again told that the truck had just left Ontario THAT DAY. At this point we were livid and asked to speak with a manager. The manager offered a $300 discount and said that we would take delivery April 21st. Over the next few days we called multiple times, trying to get a straight answer from anyone. We'd now incurred hundreds of dollars in extra expenses. The truck finally arrived on April 25th, 15 days later than what we were originally told. When the truck arrived they wanted payment and our measly $300 discount had not been deducted from the invoice. We then had to play phone tag for a couple hours before they could confirm the discount and start unloading. Thankfully all our posessions were fine. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). After 30 days we were offered $100. We responded that that was unacceptable and we had receipts proving additional expenses. After 15 days, Royal Van Lines AKA North American Moving still hadn't responded so the BBB closed the case.     Move

    We had to move from Whistler BC to Toronto about 2 months ago. After searching and reading a lot online I was very apprehensive about moving companies. We ended up using Royal Vanlines and they were friendly, caring, conscientious, and answered every question I had before the move.. They were on time & really paid special attention to detail. They packed with swift care... Making sure that we were taken care of... going over every detail on insurance options and all... I have gone the cheap route before and really got what i paid for... bad customer service and an attitude... not to mention the things that got damaged and broke along the way... these guys are a CUT ABOVE. And all of my worries gone now, I am definitely bookmarking them for the next time I move, and would recommend them without any hesitation.

    driver and movers are excellent after some confusion matters seem to be resolved. I will reserve judgement until I have received my belongings. the movers on this end took great care with my belongings.

    Long Distance Move

    Not only were they prompt they were a 1/2 hour early. I didn't have allot of stuff but they moved it quickly and efficiently. When there was a misunderstanding regarding the price they called the office quickly and it was taken care of. This was by far one of the easiest moves I've ever done. It's true what they say...you get what you pay for and I will pay for peace of mind. Emma was a pleasure to deal with.
