Good service at a reasonable cost. The electrician was able to quickly diagnose the problem and re-route the wiring to provide power to a couple dead outlets. The final cost came in under the quoted estimate.

Rob provided me with a lot of help up front so that I could research and find the thermostat myself and order it. Within a week of when it arrived it was installed and working. Nathan did the installation and did a great job. It was appreciated that he stayed and made sure that it was working properly (floor heated up) and that he was so clean and tidy, leaving no mess behind.

We had a contract with Robart Electrical for an upgrade of our electrical panel as we where asked by the insurance. They came the first time but couldn't do the work as we had a big tree blocking the cables from Epcor. They came back a couple of weeks after and never forgot to follow up with us. They came early in the morning and did a clean professional job. They took care of all the city permits and everything was a breeze. We had a problem later on with a plug and came back to see what was wrong at no extra cost. Excellent customer service. Rob was great! Even forgot to come take his check (hahaha) which proved to us money is not there main goal. Over all I have no negative comment to make as they were flawless. Even got a thank you for your business basket which was a sweet attention from them. I f I had to do it again, I would certainly go with Rob again! Ana

How nice it is to have someone promise a job well done and to provide just as much. Never to feel as if your questions are too small trivial. When you work in a luxury industry it's nice to receive service you expect from yourself.

I had 2 jobs, at 2 different residential properties done in last 3 months by Robart. Robert, the owner, was very informed not only about city codes, but also current Insurances Standards and Mortgage requirements which are not the same as code requirements. The quotes were presented as to what I needed to be done without a lot of pressure to go beyond that, in other words no pressure of the up sale. The quotes were very price competitive in comparison to the other Electrical Contractors that quoted. The tradesmen that did the work were on time, professional, knowledgeable and went above and beyond the contract by doing a few extra things, at no extra charge. I would highly recommend Robart Electrical as a trusted contractor for your residential electrical servings needs.

My wife had originally found Robart Electrical a few months ago on the homestars site when we needed a minor electrical problem resolved at our condo. We were so satisfied with the prompt service and reasonable pricing; they were the only vendor we considered to solve a fairly major issue with our new (to us) home. We had what we believed to be, as told to us by our home inspector, 60 amp electrical service to our home. I knew that was an issue that had to be addressed immediately, so I called contacted Robart via email and Rob (the owner) phoned me within 12 hours to set up a time for a site visit and assessment. Rob showed up (exactly when he said he would) and informed me that it looked like we actually had 100 amp service to the house, but the main panel was a 60 amp panel that was full to capacity with some of the breakers were double tapped, insufficient breakers for appliances..etc. Another concern was that as typical a 60-year-old home, it was wired without ground to each outlet. Dreading the worst (re-wiring the whole home) I asked Rob what our options were. Luckily, he said we could use GFCI breakers in the panel and add surge protection to the entire system to protect the sensitive items (TV, computer etc). Phew. Rob also took a look at where the power was tapped from the utility pole leading to our garage and noted that the electrical mast was not up to code and would need to be replaced along with the meter. We weren’t expecting that, but again, surprises are to be expected when dealing with an older home. After receiving and accepting the quote, we set up a time for it to completed. Robart took care of the necessary permits with the city, coordinated with Epcor to disconnect power and the final electrical inspection before power could be restored. Both electricians arrived on time and were done in about 8 hours. They were the consummate professionals who did a very tidy job on the install and cleaned up everything when they were done. We were expecting the bill to be higher than the original quote because I think there might have been a bit of extra work that they hadn’t anticipated, but Robart were true to their quote (actually a little cheaper) and we couldn’t have been more pleased with both the professional service and the honesty in their pricing. I would not hesitate to recommend Robart Electrial Services to anybody, and we will be most certainly calling on them when the next electrical gremlin makes an appearance. There was a problem with my IPad charger and one of my electrical outlets at home. The charger was completely burned and so was the outside of the electrical outlet, it was kind of scary. I called Rob Electrical services to troubleshoot the shorted outlet. They were on time, efficient and knowledgeable. At the end the problem was with the IPad charger not the outlet or my house electrical system. They also kindly answer of other questions I had regarding the electrical system of my house. All in all very good service. I recommend them.

Robart Electrical added 2 new panels, upgraded our service from 60 amps to 100 amps, installed a bunch of GFI plug-ins, and re-routed our cables under ground all in 1 day! We were extremely impressed with the service and the quality of work! We've used them for other small fixes too, they are always on point and easy to deal with. I would definately recommend them!

We had two heaters installed and the electricans came at two separate days. Both times the fellows were kind and curtious, cleaned up after themselves. Very friendly. Resolved the heat problem in our basement. I would recommend this company to anyone. Thanks again.
