I am so grateful to have met Jean and the team at Roof Whisperer! I was so stressed out about my leaking skylight and was worried that it would be a nightmare to find someone trustworthy and efficient. Arthur came and checked out our house and gave some solid advice that was very practical and reasonable. They did all the work in a day and the house was left clean as can be! Excellent finishing work. True professionals. Thanks Team Roof Whisperer!

I chose this company based on the reviews on Homestars. Arthur came and provided an estimate. He also said he would finnish the exposed wood caused by skylight removal. I said we could do it ourselves but he said it was better if his men did it. That sounded reasonable given the trickiness of getting to the sky light. I was given a price for the finishing work and then waited for the windows to arrive. I received a call that the installation would occur on the Monday of a long weekend, this was not a problem although I did question the day. On the Saturday of the weekend I received a message to say they would arrive that day. A bit inconvenient as I was going out. Anyway, I left the house with the men installing the windows. When I returned the windows were installed, but I noticed the exposed wood was not finished. I emailed the company to let them know the work was not completed. I then received an invoice for the full amount quoted even though the windows were not finished. After talking to the company about the work not being finished and emailing a photo they sent someone to fix the problem. This time I did not recieve a call that someone would be on my roof and they arrived unannounced at an inconvenient time for me. Nevertheless, the single guy who came went up on the roof and removed the bedroom skylight. I saw him removing what I thought was sealant of some sort and asked him to be sure to replace it. He said it was debris from the previous window. That made me wonder why it had not been removed before! He then did the bathroom window and the hall window did not show any exposed wood but he said it would be difficult for him to remove the window on it's own anyway. I saw him pack away his ladder and went to look at the work. The job was dreadful and showed exposed holes in the wood on the bathroom window and areas not painted on the bedroom window. I showed the workman, who was very courteous and professional, and he took his ladders back out (would have been smart to ask if I was satisfied first). He filled the holes with caulking over the wet paint and then painted the wood and down into the window recess…..with glossy white paint over my matte white paint in the bathroom and beige in the bedroom!! It was a mess. I spoke to Authur who said he could send over a professional painter. I know everyone on homestars tries to fix things (Authur said everyone fears getting a bad review on this site - sorry) but really I had had enough. I said I would paint it myself and was not going to pay for the paint work that was done. Now here is where I made a mistake. The invoice I received was not itemised so what I remember being charged for the finishing work and what Authur said he charged was different. I paid the bill less the cost Authur said but remember the price being less by about twice that. Even then for customer service and the inconvenience of having workmen show up with little notice I think he would have covered it. I have not written a review until now as I wanted to be sure the windows did not leak after I saw old debris from the window being removed after installation of the new ones. They are fine. But I would recommend getting an itemised bill and being there to check the work before the workmen leave - that may mean having them come at a time that is better planned.

I would highly recommend The Roof Whisperer. I had the fascia, soffits, eaves-troughs replaced on my house and garage and had leaf-guard added. The work was done quickly, during some brutally cold weather. They went above and beyond making sure that all the weird nooks and crannies of my oddball house were well sealed. Communication was excellent as well as the customer service in making sure that I was happy with the work being done. Highly recommended.

I called The Roof Whisperer and in a very short time gott response. They came took a look and gave me a very resonable quote. What makes them even more special is that the work is done in the same day. I am impressed from their work. Definitely would recommend The Roof Whisperer.

I had some shingles fall off my roof in a wind storm, Arthur came out the day after I called him, Repaired my roof and did some extra work for the price he quoted me. There was more work then he expected but he was true to the quote he provided. Very professional, great work. I am a very satisfied customer. I will give him a call for my next roofing needs.

Fast, efficient, and very pleasant service. All that was promised was delivered, and more, as they repaired some areas at no cost. We were pleased with the operation. Super clean and courteous. HAD A LEACK IN THE THIRD FLOOR APARTMENT.CALLED ARTHUR AND HE CAME THE SAME DAY TO INSPECT. NEXT DAY ROOF WAS REPAIRED, AND NO PROBLEM SINCE. I HAVE USED ARTHUR A FEW TIMES AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VRY SATISFIED.MICHAE

We were very satisfied with the work that was done by Arthur and the Roof Wisperer crew. Our new roof was installed professionally, with great attention to detail. All of the crew were very respectful of our home and were careful to not damage the gardens when removing the old shingles. Our new roof is attractive and adds value to our home.

Arthur was great to deal with. He explained what work needed to be done and broke down the costs involved. The job was done quickly and the work site was very clean when everything was completed. The folks who work at the Roof Whisperer are very professional and I would certainly hire them again for any future roofing jobs.

I had a difficult time this past summer finding a roofing company to come out to look at my roof and giving a quote for the needed work. I was using a combination of classifieds and verification on Homestars. But after reaching out to 7 companies and having only 2 respond. I found the Roof Whisperer which was the only company that not only responded right away but came out the next day to look at my issue. Another company only wanted to take aerial photos and not have someone come in person. This was ridiculous to me since I could tell that I only needed half my roof done. I didn't want to be bullied by anyone into doing work that I didn't need. The Roof Whisperer was willing to work with me and agreed that only half my roof needed replacing. I received my quote in a timely fashion. I reviewed my quote in detail with technical staff I work with. They confirmed the recommended approach to fixing my roof, including noting that several of the suggestions were good practices in the roofing industry. Other companies were not recommending such thorough work. Disappointing. Another thing to note is that since I was going away on vacation for 3 weeks in July, the Roof Whisperer recommended I put a cover on my roof while I was away to prevent any water damage. THANKFULLY I did this as while I was away, the disastrous July rain storm happened (where more rain fell than during Hurricane Hazel). The simple cover saved me from additional water damage inside my house. The workmen were thorough and cleaned my yard well. They worked quickly. They also finished some missing aluminum work on the 2 windows, which had not been completed by the previous homeowners. When I had a small issue a few months later, the Roof Whisperer came out in person again and sent a repairman out the very next day. I've had no issues since then. Note that this roof replacement also included a skylight replacement. It cannot be seen from the photo as it is on top of the roof. No worries from the new skylight though!
