I must say that Arthur, Wayne, Tony and the entire crew were a pleasure to deal with. The job looks great, the site was cleaned thoroughly and everything was as expected, - The job was shingle and 2 large skylights replacement on a steep Victorian-style roof. The house is only 14 years old however the builder nailed low-quality shingle directly on decking. It was time to act proactively to avoid potential damage. - I called around 10 well known companies to get a quote. Five did not bother to call back, 2 called back but did not show up for scheduled appointment. The Roof Whisperer (Arthur) was the only one who followed through on all appointments, emails and commitments. Give that he was Velux and Certain-teed certified installer, and fair quote price, the choice was easy. - The work started as scheduled, the crew extra day to do the job right, did not cut corners. The job site was cleaned at the end of each day. - The work was completed to the letter of Arthur's 12-page long detailed quote. I will be happy to act as reference for The Roof Whisperer.

After a roof inspection to assess a leak, it was apparent i needed to replace the flat roof portion of my home, along with 4 skylights. Arthur was quick to respond to my inquiry and offered a fair quote. True to his word, the job was done as scheduled, as quoted, and his team was held to professional standard at all times. I chose roof whisperer because I felt Arthur had the most experience. I had one other quote for less but being duped in the past I chose experience this time. The job was done on time and close to quote. Arthur explained things so well to me. My neighbour went up on the roof and told me he was impressed with a job well done!!! Honestly I would have them do more if I could.

Arthur was great. He was very professional and pleasant to deal with. During his initial visit he brought his ipad and showed me examples of his work and explained to me exactly what would be done with the roof. Once we agreed upon the extent and price of the work to be done, the crew came within a week and began the work. During the installation, Arthur supervised and checked in at various times throughout the job. Once the job was finished the crew made sure to clean the work site and leave my yard as it was before. The roof looks great and I was very pleased to have had such a great experience.

The Roof Whisperer well exceeded our expectations for our skylight and roof repair needs. Arthur is a professional and courteous man who takes pride in his work being done right. My husband and I live in a small house with a Chimney through the center of it. This unused chimney occupies a lot of interior space so we’ve decided to remove it. We hired the Roof Whisperer to remove it to below the roof line and reconstruct the gap so my husband and I can remove it throughout the rest of our house. We also asked them to help remove 2 ventilation stacks, drop ABS down for a new stack, and waterproof it on the roofline. Arthur responded to my request for a quote quickly, and even came early to avoid the rain. His quote was competitive and the reviews here were great so we went with his company. The work had to be postponed at the last minute due to the previous day’s wet weather, but otherwise it went smoothly. Arthur’s team was friendly and worked efficiently. Unfortunately they accidently brought the wrong shingles, but they returned with the right ones the next day and installed them while we were at work. Overall we are happy with the Roof Whisperer’s work and would gladly recommend them!

When I bought my home, I knew the flat roof needed to be replaced, and I decided it would also be a good time to install a new skylight above my stairs. Being a first-time homeowner with a limited budget and limited knowledge about roofs/skylights in general, I was really nervous about hiring the wrong company to do such a big and expensive job. I wound up “interviewing” about 10 different roofing/skylight companies, and it didn't take me long to realize that Arthur and his team at The Roof Whisperer were the obvious choice. He wasn't the cheapest, but it soon became clear that he would be worth every penny. On his first visit to the house to give me a quote, he spent almost an hour talking through the various options and making sure I understood and was comfortable with my choices. He was also the only one who caught things that the inspector had told me about (other roofers didn't catch them). As a nervous new homeowner, he put me at ease immediately and made me feel like I could really trust him and his technical knowledge. When I was narrowing down the options, he was always patient and responsive despite my incessant questioning, and once I finally hired him for the job, his guys showed up on time every day, were very nice, worked hard and long hours, and cleaned up after themselves before going home. There was one tiny issue that came up during the project, but as soon as I told Arthur about it, he apologized and had it fixed immediately. Arthur went above and beyond for me--fixing things we hadn't realized would need to be fixed at no extra cost, keeping me informed throughout, etc. The end result is a perfect new roof, a gorgeous new skylight that was impeccably installed, and the most priceless item of all--peace of mind that my first big investment in my home was with the right company. The only problem is that Arthur set the bar so high that now that I'm working with other companies on other projects, no one compares! If you want quality service from someone who cares about doing a great job and making you happy, hire Arthur at The Roof Whisperer. Trust me--if anyone was going to be tough to win over, it was me, and I couldn't be happier.

The roof of my home had developed a leak, which I discovered when I saw some water damage on the ceiling of the dining room. Since it was supposed to rain heavily for much of the week, I was anxious to get the roof repaired as quickly as possible, before any more damage could occur. I contacted The Roof Whisperer based on the reviews I had read here. The woman who answered the phone was extremely cheerful and friendly. We arranged for an estimate to be done the following day. Arthur showed up right on time the next morning. He was super-friendly just like the other reviewers here have said. He examined the roof and gave a detailed explanation of the problem and the work that would be required to repair it. His estimate was right in line with what I expected it to cost. The best part was that he was able to get his crew out there to do the work that same day. It's a lucky thing, because it rained hard for the 3 days that followed. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend The Roof Whisperer for their friendliness, honesty and expertise.

Alfred and his crew provided fast and effective repair to the flat roof of my building. It is 100 year old building but they were able to get everything sorted out perfectly. Also, the service was friendly and courteous. Thanks so much.
