I sent an email and received a call back within a few days, from Heba. Heba is lovely and so kind. She asked some preliminary questions about the scale of the job and then arranged a time for Rachid to come by and look at our bathroom for a quote. He was prompt and on time. Rachid is very friendly and easy to chat to and quite confident in the quality of his work. His confidence and recognizing it was our main bath, was the only contractor to promise to complete the job in 5-7 days (barring no hidden disaster and thankfully we have a small powder room). He and his crew would work late if needed to get the job done within the timeline promised. The quote was higher than the mid-price person, but we felt confident it was worth the added expense to have our bathroom completed in a shorter time frame.
Contracts were signed and a date was booked. The really nice touch, one week before the schedule date, we received an email from Heba, with a look forward to starting the project next week. Before the project started, I had a list of questions and concerns I sent off to Heba. She was answered all my questions, and assured me, everything will be fine and not to worry as Rachid will walk us through and keep us informed every step of the way. She was so right and they are a great team!
Once the bin arrived from Roadrunner Bins, I just knew everything was going to be all right. The condition of Neil’s bin was fantastic! I had to complement on the wonderful condition of his bin and truck. It was not some dilapidated thing, held together by a hope and more hope. It was in great shape, and clean. Neil double checked where we would like the bin positioned in the driveway. Even when he came to pick up the bin, he swept the driveway all around the bin area. Neil – very professional and knows about service and more importantly, having pride in his work. Top notch!
Rachid’s and his crew of Nav and Andrew arrived shortly afterward and went to task on the job. They put contractor cloths down the stairs, closed all the bedroom doors to help keep the dust down. The attention was there, to help keep try and keep the dust at bay. The fellows are super polite and just a great bunch of guys. Before long we realized, it was not going to be a stressful project at all. They always tried to keep things as neat as possible and worked well together. They all bring different skill sets and worked well together.
We were kept in the loop with every stage in how we would like things arranged, explained the materials they were using in the tub surround area. Even little hiccups were not a big deal. We talked out options and came to a result together where everyone was happy. It felt very collaborative versus us becoming uncomfortable and looking for problems. I dreaded the idea of picking a paint colour, and simply let Rachid have free reign with the colour (as long as it was not yellow). They picked a great paint colour and we were thrilled. Rachid along with Nav and Andrew, worked hard each and every day. Rachid kept the job on track, and together with his crew worked late some evenings and was much appreciated by our family.
If you understand and want quality, they are definitely the team to hire. It is the little things differentiate the good to great. Coming to the job, prepared to work, neat, clean, and looking professional with a company uniform shirt. I had previously worked in 5 star hotels, where offering professional and courteous service, was our mantra. Everything had to be exceptional and standards were high, because that is who you represent and are proud of being part of a special place that few get to work let alone experience. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any work that needs to be completed. The bathroom was completed in the timeline promised and we can’t believe we finally have such a beautiful bathroom.
