Vlad and his team were amazing. They showed up on time, were always available by text, sent photos of the work being done, made recommendations based on what they discovered when they assessed the foundation, worked very hard, finished on time and have a 25-year guarantee! We are going to be prepared for April showers. Highly recommended.

We interviewed three under-pinners. Icy Reno was competitive but what sold us was Igor had done the work while the other two were sales guys. Igor knew how things would likely happen and gave us great suggestions. Shockingly they are exactly on budget (I always expect it to be 20%-30%). Everything was very professional. The team were polite and kept the area clean. Difficult neighbours had nothing to complain about!

As someone with little knowledge with the entire process of lowering the basement, Igor was able to direct me to other companies along the way such as engineers and surveyors. His workers were very dedicated and hard working during the entire process. My basement now with much more headroom looks like it has room to become a space that we can spend time in. We had a great experience with Icy Reno & Igor's team and I couldn't recommend them more highly. We got a quote from Igor back in 2020 to underpin our basement, and didn't go ahead with it at the time because we couldn't face the disruption while working from home. Fast-forward to 2022 and we knew we weren't going to be going back to the office permanently, so I asked Igor to come back and go over the 2020 quote, assuming that prices would have increased. Surprisingly, the adjusted quote came in pretty similarly to the 2020 quote, so we got our drawings and permits sorted and they started work in April with a few week's notice. The team who worked at our house were outstanding: not only did they work incredibly hard every day on a job with limited access that required manual wheelbarrows down to street level, but they kept a clean worksite, they were sweet to our two year old who loved watching them work, and our neighbours kept commenting on how courteous and hardworking they were. Neighbour drama was our biggest concern during the work and the Icy Reno team completely alleviated our concerns. When we ran into unexpected issues, such as crumbling foundations, Igor quickly informed us of what was necessary to resolve the problems and he was direct in his opinions when we were maybe making an ill-thought out decision. We ended up with an excellent large window opening at his suggestion and adjusted our drawings to make better use of the space. Igor also was transparent when he thought that something wasn't worth spending money on - I appreciated this as he left the decisions with us but pointed out that certain things would just be money makers for him vs a sound investment! I'd hire Icy Reno again in a heartbeat. The job was finished in the initial time frame despite needing to do a few extra things to the foundations, and we've had other contractors in since who just don't compare to the Icy Reno guys in terms of their hard work and results.

ICY Reno did a 2 foot basement dig out underpinning job, structural steel, and interior waterproofing for us. They got the job done (amazingly) in 4 weeks, right on schedule, as promised. The costs were precisely as quoted. Igor kept us updated throughout the project and made excellent suggestions to make our basement better protected from water and plumbing issues. Igor and his team worked very hard and very long hours to meet the quick schedule. We highly recommend ICY Reno for any basement underpinning or waterproofing job. Thank you again Igor!

If you are a handy holder homeowner and you just want a professional underpinner to get your job done for the fair price;.... then Igor and his team are the guys for you. Hard working, no non-sense and just a pro contractor. Just he is an underpinner not a general contractor so there are no extras or selling of finishing such water heaters, furnace guys, finishing contractors. You should have a contractor lined up; unless your handy homeowner then he is perfect to work with
