We used Absolute for a handyman job and were very happy. But our deck re-staining project (solid colour) didn't go well. They emphasized the importance of the deck being dry. When the painters came, it had rained earlier that week and there was rain forecast for the next day. The painter said that the stain would dry in a few hours and it wouldn't be a problem. A couple of days later we saw bubbles forming and stain peeling. They offered to come back to fix the problem, but this time came only a day after it rained and with rain forecast within hours. Again, the stain started bubbling and peeling. We now have at least 8 spots all over the deck like this. I don't think the deck was properly prepared either time. They offered to come again but I didn't want more of the same. They declined my request for a partial refund.

The most professional and customer focused company I have ever employed. Their work is of the highest order. I would recommend their services to anyone and everyone.

We are very happy with John and his team - Kirk & the 2 lovely ladies who came and removed the black mulch from our front lawn and replaced it with fresh sod. Good work, very pleasant & finished in good timing! All the junk was carted away. Thank you!

We hired Absolute Home Services to address our elderly uncle's extensive gardens that he was no longer physically able to care for. He developed his gardens over decades, and has always been very particular about how they are maintained. But they had become severely overgrown with weeds. On the first visit, the Absolute crew did an amazing job removing the extreme amount of weeds. On the second visit, they did more weeding, and then laid landscaping sheeting with mulch over top. When the work was done, our uncle was extremely happy with the results & asked me to send a letter of thanks to Absolute. The letter is below: After your team completed the mulch project this morning, I got a phone call from my uncle, asking me to send you a letter of appreciation for the job done. He was very impressed...he said the crew was scheduled to arrive at 8:00 am, but they were already on the job and working at 7:30 am. He said they did a SUPER JOB! He said they pulled some more weeds as well as laying the mulch & did a SUPER job overall. He said they got the gardens looking as good as they used to...in fact better than they used to! The tone in his voice also conveyed how happy he was with the work done and his appreciation for the results. I would also like to add our family's thanks and appreciation for turning our uncle's gardens back into a source of pride for him! Please pass our thanks on to your crew as well. We needed help..... with composite deck replacement and a roof repair on an island! I called Absolute and Derek (a Regional project Manager) came for an on site estimate (free!) He was a solid professional and provided great advice and a fair estimate. The Absolute crew Brandon/Steve arrived on time , did great work and again - acted in a professional manner. I seldom write reviews but..... these guys deserve a 10* rating and now we are looking to have them help with our home in Waterdown. If you have a "handyman job" I would call Absolute Home Services before anyone else.

We had way to many gardens in a house we recently purchased. We hired Absolute to remove all of the existing garden which was approx 600 sq ft. They removed all of the plants and shrubs, laid fresh soil, made sure it was tightly packed and added beautiful new sod. The crew is amazing, so friendly, respectful and clean. John who quoted us has been amazing and the best customer service I have received in a long time. This company was recommended to us by our neighbors who always uses them. Very happy with this company and will definitely use them in the future Anne Borg

The team came to install a wooden frame for an outdoor swing which included setting posts on concrete and building the crosspiece with decorative finishes like curved edges. I am very happy with the result. The frame is sturdy and looks really nice. The team were friendly, pleasant to work with and cleaned up when they were finished. It was a small job that deck and fence companies were not interested in. I'm very glad to have found Absolute. They did a great job. I will be keep their contact info handy for future projects.

The team put down new sod in front yard. Did a great job, very happy with results and would definitely use them again. Project manager (John) was very friendly and prompt with estimate and followup. Operations team was very tidy and efficient did a great job.

We have a 25 year old fence in need of some lost repairs and a new gate. They walked through the job with us also suggested solutions which would reduce final cost and not compromise the desired outcome. They were on time and cleaned up the job site perfectly. We were very satisfied with the work done, professionalism and friendliness of the team. We would recommend them.
