    Roof replacement

    Sokol Preka provided us with an estimate and a time frame we could decide on for the work. Gave us a lot of information and took pictures of the roof so we could make an informed decision. The work itself was completed in one day and yard clean up was provided by the workers and a second clean up by Sokol was done later. We are very pleased with the work and experienced absolutely no problems. We would highly recommend this company.

    New Roof

    I live in Cochrane (AB) and the "builder's grade" roof on my 17-year old home needed to be replaced. A neighbour told me about National Star Roofing — her next door neighbour, her daughter and two of her daughter's neighbours had contracted them to replace their roof and had been very pleased with the work done. I did some online research (BBB, HomeStar) on National Star Roofing and was pleased and impressed with all of the positive reviews. So I contacted them to request a quote. Sokol arrived at the agreed-upon time, discussed roofing options, showed me samples, answered all of my questions and provided me with a detailed estimate. The price quoted was reasonable and competitive and so I asked to proceed with the work. Two days later, Sokol and a crew of 10 (brothers, cousins, brothers-in-law) showed up at 7 AM (to beat the heat of the forecasted daytime high of 31C). Once the old roof was off (8 AM), a couple of crew members left (to attend to other matters) leaving 8, who managed to install the new roof (underlay, turtle vents, shingles) by 1:30 PM. AMAZING. It was such a pleasure to deal with Sokol and his crew. All were very hard-working, skilled, efficient, polite, respectful, professional, and attentive to detail. The job was completed in under a day, there was no loud music blaring (no music at all) and they were very good about clean-up — all discarded roofing materials (old shingles, packaging, roof nails) were discarded directly into a garbage bin (on back of company truck) or picked up afterwards and added to the bin.     Roofing Replacement

    This company offers unbeatable price without compromising the quality of materials they use and workmanship. Installation was quick and efficiently done. I am more than satisfied with how the roof was inspected, making sure that existing and potential problems are covered, then the the attention given to small details have resulted in a neat and leak proof handiwork .

    Roofing

    National Star just recently replaced my old cedar shakes with shingles. I am very pleased with how the roof now looks. The job was done efficiently in two days, an excellent crew who kept me informed what was done the first day and when to expect them the second day. A very good clean up was done after the first day as well as at the completion. It was a pleasure dealing with Sokol and working out what was needed as well as choosing the colour. I highly recommend this company.

    Roof replacement

    I was very pleased with how everything worked out with National Star Roofing. Everything was priced as planned, the workers were clean, efficient, and showed up when they were supposed to. Really fast and professional service from quote to finish.

    Couldn't be Happier!

    National Star did our roof in April and I would recommend them anyone. The quote was better than competitive, the work was done very well and done quickly. Sokol took my husband up on the roof to discuss it before and after the job. The roof looks fantastic and they even painted the vents to match. We couldn't be happier.

    Roofing Repair

    Sokol and his staff responded very promptly to a repair that we thought we needed. It turned out that we didn't need the repair and it was very reassuring to know that a professional took the time to ensure that our roof was in good working order. Again the response to our request was very prompt and communication was excellent.

    Roof replacement

    We recently had National Star replace our roof and skylight. We are very pleased with the whole project, from start to finish. Sokol and his crew were excellent to deal with. Sokol was very prompt with his responses, provided a detailed and reasonable quote, and was extremely polite as were the whole crew. They worked through a weekend to get the job done during our rainy May. Great job. Thanks

    Roof Replacement

    From the quote process to the completion of the job we are very happy with our new roof. Sokol provided an informative, thorough (complete with pictures), and prompt quote. He answered any questions we had, and showed myself the problem areas up on the roof. The warranty provided from National Star definitely provides peace of mind. When it came time to replace the roof Sokol's crew were professional, and delivered an excellent product. They cleaned up the site, and left nothing behind. Another plus was the price was exactly as quoted with no hidden charges. Overall very happy with the new roof and would recommend National Star to everyone.

    Roofing

    We were extremely satisfied with Sokol and the team at National Star. They take immense pride in their work and got the job done in the time frame they had quoted us. Sokol continued to check in and make sure we were satisfied and did a great job following up. The yard was left in pristine condition, all nails and debris were cleaned up and it was left as if they were never there. I would highly recommend National Star to anyone who is looking at getting their roof redone. Nick
