Front porch and driveway
After Jay and his team installed my composite wood deck in 2021, which I absolutely love, I finally went ahead with having my front porch and drive replaced with stone. As with my deck, the project went smoothly and was completed a day before originally estimated. Rob was amazing as was Brandon (a master at stone work), Jay (another Jay) and Greg. They were pleasant, professional and more than accommodating in answering any questions I had. My porch and deck needed replacing badly and my house, drive and porch look stunning now. I am so very happy with the results. I will not hesitate to have Green Side Up provide any future work for me. I do have to admit that I am getting a little tired of neighbours stopping and ooohing and aaahing over my drive and porch !!!!

Downtown Victorian Front Yard Rebuild
Jay and his crew did an excellent job rebuilding our front yard (before and after pictures below). This was a significant job with some notable challenges. The quality of the workmanship was superb, the cut stone and brick was done perfectly. Jay's people showed up on time every day and worked with us around all design changes, they cleaned up and took care of little details. Level of communication was excellent. I have hired a lot of contractors for various stuff on my house over the years and Jay was the best experience. I would highly recommend Green Side Up!

FABULOUS FENCE!
I highly recommend Jay and his team at Green Side Up. My beautiful fence was built by Corey and Daniel and they did a fabulous job! I am so happy with my fence. This is the third project that Green Side Up has completed for me and I will of course be using them for my next project as well. I highly recommend Green Side up for your next project.

Back yard Deck
PreConstruction: Jay was very personable and highly responsive in a timely manner. Takes great pride in ensuring customer satisfaction. Addresses each and every question/ concern Construction: The team of Daniel and Cory are absolutely amazing. They possess an excellent work ethic, are meticulous, organized, skillful and proficient, and just plain polite when addressing the client. They have a keen eye and knowledge of the building code, (they identified and addressed a deficiency in the deck plan designed by a different company). The materials used in the building of the deck are top notch. Post Construction: Jay takes a great deal of pride in ensuring customer satisfaction. He does not accept payment until he himself does a final inspection of the project and address any potential deficiencies. Daniel and Cory took the time to carefully clean up the yard at the end of the project. This is a first class company.

Best Fence Company Ever !
Dealing with Green Side Up was painless and a pleasure ... Dan was attentive and cooperative ... The crew was polite, proficient, and professional. I expect the best, and Jays Green Side Up team delivered in every way imaginable !!! Who knew ... a contractor actually exists who keeps their promises, shows up every day, and guarantees their work

Interlock driveway and Flagstone porch
Jay and his team were a pleasure to deal with. We needed to extend our driveway to create another parking spot. So we decided on interlock stones replacing part of our front yard extending all the way to the porch and placing flagstone on our porch. We talked with a few contractors but decided to go with Jay due to his friendly, positive demeanor and his knowledge of the work involved. And we are very happy that we did. Jay gave us a start date and approximate time for completion and everything worked out as discussed. Each of his team members that I spoke with were friendly and responded positively to my questions. They worked hard respecting my property and completed the job professionally. Upon completion they did a thorough job cleaning up. I have no hesitation in recommending Jay and his team. There's a reason why they have won the best of the best awards, and no doubt they will continue to do so. Thanks Jay and team!

Landscape Design & Build
Jay and his team were great to work with. They had excellent design ideas and their workmanship was top notch. Our backyard was transformed. We love our new two-tier deck, fencing, stone steps and retaining wall and would recommend their company without reservation. Full marks.

Great Job Green Side Up!
I am so grateful that I selected "Green Side Up" to do the job at our home. We changed the stairs to our main entrance and demolished the old deck and re-built the new one. The entire process was very easy and intuitive. Working with Jay and his team is great, I love his no-nonsense approach. He is very professional and keeps his word, which was very important to us. The job was finished in agreed upon time and more importantly, the site was left perfectly clean. The workmanship is top-notch, as I like to call it "sharp - lines" and very, very neat. Jay made some important design changes to the new deck, which improved the usability as well as overall looks. When everything was said and done, the job was accomplished beautifully, on time and on the budget, without any hidden costs. I highly recommend Jay and his team!
