    Highly recommended!

    I recently had Green Side Up Contracting redo my small backyard – taking out the existing grass, fixing a retaining wall and installing new interlock and a garden bed. The whole team at Green Side Up was fantastic from start to finish. Jay provides detailed quotes, does a thorough walk through before the works starts, and Pat (foreman) and crew were always on time, gave regular updates on how the work was progressing, and kept the work site clean. I would not hesitate to recommend them. I look forward to enjoying my new backyard this summer. Thanks Jay!

    Perimeter Fence and Gate

    Jay provided fantastic customer service, explaining various options and providing a full price breakdown. He went out of his way to squeeze us into his busy pipeline and his crew did a fantastic job, building us a new perimeter fence and gate. I was impressed with the workmanship and how nicely they cleaned up when the job was complete. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Green Side Up for your fencing and gate needs.

    Composite Decking

    Green Side Up Contracting is a professional and dedicated Company. My husband and I contacted them for advice on constructing and assembling our road front deck. After speaking with Jay, the Owner of the Company, we decided to go with composite decking. The prices were reasonable and the finished project looks amazing! Throughout the project, Jay consistently kept us up to date on their progress to ensure that we were satisfied at every stage. Zach and his crew worked tirelessly through extremely cold weather and even returned at a later time to confirm quality and complete any finishing touches. You couldn’t ask for a better Company! They went above and beyond to complete the job to our satisfaction. Thank you Green Side Up Contracting for your fantastic work!

    Customer Service

    My snow removal contract expired March 31 and as Murphy's law would have it, residents across Greater Toronto just received a weekend ice storm that raged into its third day by Monday. I had not heard from my snow removal contractor all weekend, I left several messages but did not hear back. Although I was prepared to pay extra for today's snow removal given my contract had expired, I wasn't prepared to be left stuck with my car in the garage and 2 ft of ice covered snow drifts on driveway! Desperate to get to work I called my landscape contractor Green Side Up Contracting, they had installed my Interlock parking pad last year and much to my surprise they said no problem. Grant & Jay had my driveway cleared within an hour so that could get my car out of the garage and on my way to work. I am indeed thoroughly impressed and want to take this opportunity to praise the reliable team at Green Side Up and I would not hesitate to recommend this group of dependable, trustworthy professionals.     Highly recommend!!!

    I contacted Jay about 5 years ago for a snow removal quote. I ended up deciding to go ahead with an annual service from Green side Up, for year round property maintenance. Jay and his team have always been extremely professional and timely. I also used them for a landscape project at my house that turned out beautifully. I have very recently moved out of country, however my house is still for sale in Aurora. We just had an ice storm and despite my contract wit’s Greenside Up expiring March 30th, Jay was more than happy to help out during an ice storm and clear the driveway and front walk for me. I highly recommend them for all of your property needs.

    Front Steps, Walkway and Soldier Course

    We hired Jay and his team to refinish our front steps, walkway, and spruce up the driveway. Jay was awesome, very friendly, very attentive to detail and had some wonderful suggestions in regards to the design/colour and how we should proceed. Jay is probably my favorite contractor ever!!! Josh who completed the work was great, very easy to speak with, checked in several times throughout and ensured we were happy with the results. We are extremely happy with the work performed and highly recommend Green Side Up! We'll likely follow up with them again soon to re-do our deck and fencing.

    Backyard Oasis

    As a family, we decided we did not want the hassle of a cottage and cottage traffic, so we decided to build an oasis in our back yard. We met and received quotes from multiple contractors. Not only was Green Side Up's quote competitive, the owner, Jay was easy going and personable from the very beginning. In the end, we are so happy we chose Jay and his team. Jay was very helpful and knowledgeable, and the lines of communication were always open. We really felt that he wanted to make the backyard exactly how we wanted it. Jay, his foreman Matt and the entire crew were very polite, tidy and really cared about getting the job done right. The focal point of our new backyard is the 30' Viking Majesty pool. The custom built cedar cabana includes a bar area with a fridge, a wooden counter top on two sides, a cedar-smelling change room, a storage area and accent lighting. The custom built stone BBQ with counter tops, gas grill, drawers and cupboard will allow us to host some of the best barbecue parties with family and friends. As the winter season has arrived, we have already enjoyed the sauna and the hot tub, they provide a resort-like feel. No detail was overlooked from the Dekko fire pit and seating area to the shrubs and plants. The photo was taken in November, so the pool is covered, and there is no furniture out, but the backyard is still beautiful to look at out from our kitchen window. Thank you Jay and your team for turning our backyard into the awesome getaway we always dreamed of.

    Fencing along one side of yard.

    I really appreciated the fact that Green Side Up Contracting was able to fit me into a busy pre-Christmas schedule. Both my dog and I are really enjoying the freedom the fence brings and it looks great, too!

    Deck Replacement

    We hired Jay and his crew to replace our front and back desks. They provided us with a quote at a decent price, and the crew were knowledgeable, reliable, professional, and friendly. We appreciate the speedy completion time on our decks as the weather was quickly becoming cooler. Abel and Chris worked hard to get the job done as quickly as possible. The decks are beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. Excellent job to everyone, thanks guys!

    Front Stairwell

    Jay and his team did a fantastic job on our stairwell. The crew is professional and friendly. The cost is very reasonable compare to other contractors and their craftsmanship is beautiful. We are very happy with the service Jay's team provided. Awesome work folks! Highly recommended!
