six years ago the gentleman who serviced my commercial property retired and its been a complete nightmare ever since trying to find a company with comparable service levels. I was introduced to Green Side Up through a peer who is also in commercial property maintenance yet doesn't service my area. Prior to the initial contact with Green Side up I had come the Home Stars (for the first time) to do my due diligence. Om initial contact with Green Side Up in the fall I spoke with Jay who was able to answer all my questions without uncertainty. He was polite, very thorough in his answers and very confident on the ability of his team to execute on any commitments he would make. Jay also had a very unique energy that drew my continued interest. Later that week we met at the property which is a strip plaza North of Toronto that has 16 stores, (two of which are open 24 hours) and nine residential rental units in the upper level. The meeting went well. I felt comfortable with the abilities of Jay. Two days later (and as promised) I received a detailed estimate which was competitively priced, along with all other required documentation. To date, and after 5 snow storms I'm happy to say that I have made the right decision. The property has never looked as good and or been as safe as it is today in winter and I haven't heard one peep from my superintendent who is normally on the phone complaining to me. Every time Green Side Ups vehicles enter my property I receive a email notification and after receiving so many notifications I called Jay and asked him why they're on site so often. He explained that there are many reasons for his team to be on site such as checking ground temperatures to ensure that they salt when needed, plowing, post storm clean ups and to enjoy a roti from one of the restaurants!! Keep up the continued excellence Jay and team!

Jay and his team are the very best! ~Keen! ~Efficient! ~Prompt! ~Courteous! ~Competitively priced! They have been looking after our property for the past few years. For snow removal or summer property maintenance, you will not find anyone better!!!

Jay and his crew have been a delight to work with. They did a beautiful job on our flowers and ground maintenance. This winter they have been amazing keeping up with our snow clearing requirements while all the time being prompt and professional. Jay excels at customer service and is always available to take my calls and help in whatever way possible. He has also done some property repairs. I highly recommend Green Side Up Contracting for all your property maintenance needs.

I called about snow removal and they don't service my area, but Jay spent another 5 minutes on the phone giving me suggestions of other services I could use in my area. Will DEFINITELY use Green Side Up in the future!

Update Mar 2018 - We noticed after the job was completed in the fall of 2016 that our pool was very murky. As the weather was getting cold, we decided to close the pool for the winter. When we attempted to open the pool in 2017, we realized that rocks and soil had gotten into the pool and after many attempts to rectify the situation; we called a pool company who had to flush our skimmer line as rocks were stuck in the line. We called Steve as the rocks and soil got into the pool as a result of the digging that took place as part of replacing our retaining wall and fence. Steve's initial response was to pay for half of the pool company cost but in subsequent discussions stated that it was our fault. He then offered to reduce the cost of our next job. We did not accept his offer as we have no intentions of dealing with a company who do not take accountability for issues that arise. I would not recommend this company.
